if you like wrestling, Stephen Amell, Alexander Ludwig, or even just good drama, watch Heels. It’s on netflix right now and the more you watch the higher the chances for season 3
it’s a good show with characters that feel real in a way not a lot of shows feel like
also i’ve seen some people say they’re gonna kill themselves or swear off watcher because of something they announced TWO HOURS ago and i just
please i say this with the upmost sincerity, PLEASE reevaluate some things in your life and please seek mental health help or take a step back to think things through because a company should not have this kind of impact on your life
I know it’s just a fandom thing but it’s still weird to see a post explicitly about seeing characters as siblings or seeing them as aroace or whatnot and you choosing to derail it and go “BUT I SHIP THEM!!!! DONT PERSECUTE ME UwU!!!” Like bud you’re walking into a club whilst proclaiming you’re against clubs, what are you expecting? Of course we’re going to tell you to leave.
Guys, the more I think about it, the more I fear that they simply won't care about our input. Like shane and ryan, both went to school for filmography, and they've always wanted to make TV quality content. Every pod, they talk about some movie or other piece of film media. They love it. The yellow and blue text has always been enough for us, yes, but I worry that it will never be enough for them. Our devotion is irrelevant. It just really sucks that their values and goals don't seem to align with ours.
I don't think the "pay artists website is upset about having to pay artists" argument for Watcher is a very good. argument. They had a Patreon, people were literally already paying the artists. Adding another subscription service into an already saturated market full of overpriced subscription services is just. A bad business move. It's career suicide.
Everyone is struggling right now and I understand that that includes everyone at Watcher, but there had to have been a better idea than "lets start our own subscription service"
I seriously wish Ryan, Shane, and Steven the best but this is seriously gonna come back and bite them in the ass.
I know this is technically a positivity blog but today I am full of hate. reblog to bite an exclusionist.
I find it SO FUCKING ANNOYING when certain authors don’t tag/put the readers gender on the ff.
Like one moment I’m reading the ff thinking it’s gn reader because it hasn’t mentioned the reader’s pronouns/gender yet but SUDDENLY I’m hit with “she/her” pronouns or “princess” “my lady” (any fucking fem aligned nicknames/pet names or whatever.. i forgot what it’s called)
It ruins my fucking mood and makes me so frustrated. Why can’t I find any good x gn/male reader ffs, Why?!
And also, I filtered ANY words/tags I can find related to fem reader but tumblr decides to recommend me some FEM READER FFS. Like what the hell?!
[By the way, if anyone has some good x gn or male reader faniction please send me the link to it, It’ll be greatly appreciated.]
i was gonna stop posting about the watcher fiasco but i saw some really confusing???? takes on my dash so I'm throwing in my unsolicited thoughts even though it's not the most eloquent
1) people who were criticising watcher's decision after the initial announcement are NOT bullies. The boys made a bad decision and had to deal with the consequences. Just because you like them doesn't mean that people expressing their (understandable and quite just) disappointment are bullies
2) people who aren't won over by the apology aren't just "haters" and "internet trolls". While the apology seems to be a step in the right direction, we have NO WAY to know if they are sincere about it yet. They might show growth in the future but only time will tell. And even if they do show growth, fans whose feelings about watcher have been tainted because of this fiasco do not owe them their loyalty when said loyalty has already been disrespected once
He really was willing to die for annette.. this lover boy...
And he stood back up after this
I think someone desperately needs to explain the concept of statistics to “men are more unsafe walking home alone at night!!!!!!!!!!” guys.
because it’s seriously concerning to see people endlessly spouting that fact and not thinking just a little longer about what that actually means. Ignoring the fact that I actually looked for any sort of study that suggested even remotely that men were more likely to be attacked physically, do none of you realize that means they survived long enough to report the incident? More men reporting being attacked means they survived the encounter. Less women reporting incidents doesn’t inherently mean they’re not getting attacked, it just means they didn’t report it.. wonder why…….
