The House of Chandra maintains neutral status in the silent war between the Houses. They are known for their incredible hospitality. The House of Chandra offers refugee and shelter to everyone, no matter who they are. It is said that if you seek refugee in the house and pray to Lord Chandra, the members of the House would be sworn to protect you. Just like the moon guides travellers home without discrimination, the House of Chandra offers refugee to everyone regardless of caste or creed. For this reason, the house of Chandra is respected and revered by many. It's popularity among the masses makes it an incredibly powerful force. The House of Chandra remains a safe space, a sort of common ground for everyone. Aranya is the youngest son of the House. He is a prolific writer and scholer, and his wisdom is respected by many. People from far lands come to visit the young lord and seek his advice. He also famously tolerates Soumya and they have been each other's unlikely companions since childhood.

This is the moodboard for Aranya.

Tips for respecting children’s spaces, competence, and general existence from a preschool teacher:

Listen to them

Ask them, “Do you want to say hi to your auntie/grandma/cousin/dad/whatevs” (Hint: they will be honest and this can result in a simple hello or a hug or a silly “No!” depending how...
