Been cooking up a swap au and finally got around to some of the character designs :>

Anyways here's the sketches for Demon Slayer but Giyuu and his sister (Tsutako) are the protagonists :D

Tsutako and Giyuu before meeting Urokodaki (essentially episode 1). they both have tattered clothes and messy hair. Tsutako's expression looks sad and lost, while Giyuu has a blank expression on his face. there's also a depiction of the basket Tsutako uses to transport Giyuu during the day, which shows how Giyuu fits in it.

The two during final selection. Tsutako has a fox mask (as is tradition for all of Urokodaki's students) and dawns an outfit similar to Tanjiro's final selection outfit, with the main difference being the pattern on her haori (it now has a few wave-like lines on it, instead of clouds like Tanjiro's did). Both Tsutako and Giyuu have longer hair, but it's more noticeable in Giyuu. He wears the same outfit as before, but it's been fixed up and is no longer tattered and dirty. He's depicted here as being sleepy (or fully asleep), and instead of there being a basket or box, Giyuu is shown sleeping, with Urokodaki watching over him. next to that is a depiction of Giyuu (now awake) watching Urokodaki make him a fox mask.

Tsutako and Giyuu ppst-final selection (their outfit for the majority of the series). Tsutako wears a traditional corps outfit, with her legwraps being reminiscent of Giyuu's in cannon. she also has his sword hilt. they both now have wave-like patterns on their haori. there's a depiction of the box giyuu travels in, as well as how he fits in said box.

I'm back with another set of swap au sketches >:D

Mitsuri and Sanemi take the place of Zenitsu and Inosuke in this au. To keep age gaps accurate, Mitsuri is now 14 and Sanemi is 16 (Tsutako is 22 and Giyuu is 16 by the time they meet these two. Idk if I mentioned that last time or not)

Sketches of Mitsuri and Sanemi in a swap au. Mitsuri's outfit has changed the most. her uniform top is fully buttoned, her skirt is longer, and she has leg warmers instead of socks. her haori has wavy stripes on the bottom, and the sleeves have heart polka-dots. Sanemi's design is pretty consistent with canon (but his haori will have some green on it when it's colored). there's two chibi sketches at the bottom depicting their first encounter (mitsuri holding onto giyuus box as sanemi tries to attack), as well as an interaction later on in their eventual friendship (mitsuri managed to give sanemi little pig tails, which are bedazzled with bows. she's proudly showing him off as he blushes intensely from embarrassment)

I like to imagine their first meeting, while not as violent as Zenitsu and Inosuke, was still not great, but then like a week later they're chill with each other and Sanemi just kinda, let's Mitsuri do her own thing.

Ok so for context: I'm working on a robot themed utau who will have 4 appends in addition to his base vb. I realized that I needed to make separate versions/folders of all the appends and base bank for ppl who might not want all of them. Had the bright idea to give his separate banks different designs than his complete bank, cuz I hate myself or something like that lol. Anyways here's the designs.
