Some thoughts I have after viewing JL for the second time solely to look at Arthur and Clark. As many who have followed me for a while know, I drew my first AquaSupes fanart back in 2015. It’s just a random rare pair that pops up in my head one day that seems hopeless from the start. Even when all the trailers of JL appeared, I never held hope that Arthur and Clark’s relationship would get explored in any ways. And it’s true. No interaction in the movie apart from the fight, Clark did not even look at Arthur once, they don’t even touch on the subject it’s Arthur who saved Clark back in MoS.
Amazing how the whole movie full of interaction and i keep being drawn to a relationship that is like shadows at noons, goings unheralded, passings unmourned…
But action speaks louder than word, doesn’t it?

One of the artists that regularly contribute tutorials to this blog @etheringtonbrothers is actually running a Kickstarter right now if you guys want to check it out!
If you back the project you can get your own copy from their book series filled with art references and tutorials, they do really great work that’s informative and concise and this would be a useful resource for anyone looking to invest in some art books: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1378058646/how-to-think-when-you-draw-book-2-plus-book-1-and
what brushes did you use for the baby twinyards
for those drawings i used SAI, here are the brush settings, the line art was done with my ink pen, and the spots on aaron were done with idgaf (it’s a pencil) while most of the coloring was done with the first brush except for the eyes which i did with the bottom left fill pen.

Some people asked me to do a tutorial on drawing rocks, and since I found myself drawing rocks a lot these days, I thought I would share some things that I do.
Note: I am not a professional artist nor have I received much professional instruction. I am self-learned and thus prone to error. If you see anything wrong with the above contents, feel free to point it out, and generally, take this whole thing with a grain of salt. You don’t have to draw rocks this way.
And since this is my first time making a tutorial, feedback on readability/helpfulness would also be welcome, so that I can have a better idea of what to do in case I make another one.
A tutorial on meatspace I made for my patrons last year! Making things exist in the same space believably is a difficult process, but hopefully this will help drawing softbodied subjects interacting together a little easier!

Rabidraygun and I made a game last weekend for Full Moon Game Jam! She did the programming and I did the art :D It’s a 2 player co-op game (you can also play solo) about a kid who’s afraid of the dark trying to meet up with her ghost bud that can’t go into the light. Check it out on itch.io here!
