it’s funny how everybody in the dream smp is confused on why c!tommy’s so violent & why he always starts wars, as if the motherfucker didn’t grow up in one. as if he didn’t spent his entire life surrounded by people who believed violence was the only answer or grew to believe violence is the only answer. they question why c!tommy’s so full of hatred / anger when the world he’s seen has only ever been full of hatred and violence. you can’t question why he’s that way when it’s all he’s ever known. surely, if he got to grow up like a kid — like he should’ve been able to, he wouldn’t have been that big of a “problem”, for you, but he didn’t. /rp

Okay but the funniest, FUNNIEST thing to me about the SMP is that Techno lowkey treats Tubbo like his arch-rival.

He kind of treats Tubbo like an icon for Government as a whole, which is hilarious considering Tubbo was the third choice for leadership after the other two rejected the position, like–

Techno will be preparing for every possible angle of attack when raiding L’manberg and Tubbo will be getting yeeted 40 feet in the air trying to make a ravager teleport him for no reason other than to see if he can

whatever way you find these characters enjoyable just… enjoy them that way. i’m mainly saying this cuz i see a lot of people being like “if you think c!phil is a bad person you’re so stupid” or “if you think c!dream can be redeemed you are the worst” like… if something isn’t stated outright in canon, let people have their headcanons and interpretations

same goes with victimizing people just cuz they enjoy a problematic character, i’ve seen a lot of people go after c!dream fans just because c!dream is a bad person and hurt tommy as much as he did… y’all it’s fiction. people can enjoy bad people in fiction. why do you think villains are always so loved.
