Okay, so I know everyone is going nuts over Tommy & Tubbo but I wanted to take a second to appreciate Clay’s acting and skills as c!Dream. The man has done some amazing stuff and it really shows in Tommy/Tubbo’s finale.

The part that I think went under appreciated, but really impressed me, was the fight scene on the mountain.

We all know Clay is super good at the game. In an actual battle, he could have won very easily. During this scene it would’ve been easy to slip up (plot-wise) and accidentally kill c!Tommy or c!Tubbo. But if you watch carefully, you could see how Clay was pushing each of them until they were close to death, and then giving them a chance to breathe by switching his attention to the other. He also very clearly signals Tommy for when he knows Tubbo’s health is too low, and c!Dream needs to do a ‘villain monologue’ to stall for time so Tubbo’s health bar can regenerate. (Not to mention giving his character a villainious reason for why they’re ‘not really trying’).

To be frank, Clay’s acting, control, and skills amaze me b/c, somehow, in the heat of this fight scene he managed to actively keep assessing wether or not his opponents were low, and back off accordingly, while still giving the viewer an entertaining fight scene. Like holly cow, that could not have been easy, but he did it flawlessly!!

In conclusion: The whole thing was just awesome! And I doubt there are many players who could have pulled that off!! Well Done Clay!!! You were fantastic!!!

The "Feels like we had matching wounds" audio but before that is Gwen saying "Lets do this one more time" and it cuts between her peter dying and her dad pulling a gun, meanwhile Miles gives Ganke a fistbump and hugs his family

Followed by Miles saying "Lets do this one last time" and the audio repeats, but this time it's all of Miles' drawings and his graffiti wall cut with Gwen bragging about spider society and interacting with hobie and pavitr

Idk if I'm explaining it well visually but god it won't leave me alonee

can we take a second to appreciate just how the dream smp members’ acting keep on getting better and better?

when the first sad-ist animatic dropped, a lot of people were impressed at dream’s “white flags” speech and eret’s “it was never meant to be line”.

then the election happened, and we were all blown away by just how powerful schlatt’s presidential speech was.

then wilbur’s corruption arc started, and the fandom went insane over just how stunning wilbur’s villainous breakdown was.

then there was the finale, which was fully packed with memorable scenes accompanied with incredible acting - we all exploded from the sheer amazingness of techno’s theseus speech and wilbur’s button room scene.

then the exile arc began, and we were startled by how much both dream and tubbo’s acting have improved; both of them suddenly putting a lot more effort and emotion into their scenes, resulting in some very iconic yet emotionally hurtful moments.

midway into the exile arc, and tommy received a lot of praise for his brilliantly accurate portrayal of mental illness, to the point where a lot of people were genuinely worried about him, even though he has stated that it was all just roleplaying and he was actually feeling great.

then ranboo took us by surprise by roleplaying more on his streams, and suddenly everyone was buzzing at just how good he was at portraying anxiety attacks and fascinating his audience with a premise as simple as losing a book solely because of his great acting.

and last but not least (for now), just when we thought wilbur couldn’t get any better, he topped his best performance yet again with ghostbur’s breakdown when he found out that friend died, as he cried and lashed out at philza, putting himself once again on the number one spot of best actor on the dream smp.

and this haven’t even mentioned all the amazing moments by fundy, quackity, and niki (who are also amazing actors who play their roles really well), and some other moments by other characters as well.

if there’s one thing that will definitely only improve overtime in the dream smp, it’s the incredible acting that makes you forget sometimes that this is all just a minecraft roleplay server.

whatever way you find these characters enjoyable just… enjoy them that way. i’m mainly saying this cuz i see a lot of people being like “if you think c!phil is a bad person you’re so stupid” or “if you think c!dream can be redeemed you are the worst” like… if something isn’t stated outright in canon, let people have their headcanons and interpretations

same goes with victimizing people just cuz they enjoy a problematic character, i’ve seen a lot of people go after c!dream fans just because c!dream is a bad person and hurt tommy as much as he did… y’all it’s fiction. people can enjoy bad people in fiction. why do you think villains are always so loved.

on the other hand if you love making in-depth analyses of the characters and having very serious detailed opinions? GO BUCK WILD! DO THAT SHIT! everything is valid bro!!! just enjoy yourself! as long as you’re not invalidating other people’s headcanons and ways of enjoying themselves, do your thing bro!!!

and of course as long as you don’t harass the actual CCs behind the characters and don’t do anything that makes them uncomfortable or something they said they’re not okay with

When Ghostbur asked for help to be revived he immediately thought about Fundy first. He wanted to help because he wanted Fundy to have a father - even after making it clear he wants to adopt Fundy. He’s putting Fundy’s well being before his own wants and can I just say the bar is LOW if this is a rare thing.
