Here’s that subclass! I do want to say, this class isn’t mine, I simply fixed the mechanics and some balancing issues. I don’t have the @ for the original, but if you look up Stitcher on DNDBeyond you’ll find them! (Just to give credit where it’s due.)
I plan to add some more upgrades, and more options for the Opus, and am willing to take suggestions, so hit me with your best ideas
Jayce hate is so funny I love to see it.
I saw a clip today idk if it was a leak or not so I’m not going to say anything but needless to say I will probably have the biggest crash out, we’re going to be fighting for our lives y’all.😭
Okay, so I know everyone is going nuts over Tommy & Tubbo but I wanted to take a second to appreciate Clay’s acting and skills as c!Dream. The man has done some amazing stuff and it really shows in Tommy/Tubbo’s finale.
The part that I think went under appreciated, but really impressed me, was the fight scene on the mountain.
We all know Clay is super good at the game. In an actual battle, he could have won very easily. During this scene it would’ve been easy to slip up (plot-wise) and accidentally kill c!Tommy or c!Tubbo. But if you watch carefully, you could see how Clay was pushing each of them until they were close to death, and then giving them a chance to breathe by switching his attention to the other. He also very clearly signals Tommy for when he knows Tubbo’s health is too low, and c!Dream needs to do a ‘villain monologue’ to stall for time so Tubbo’s health bar can regenerate. (Not to mention giving his character a villainious reason for why they’re ‘not really trying’).
To be frank, Clay’s acting, control, and skills amaze me b/c, somehow, in the heat of this fight scene he managed to actively keep assessing wether or not his opponents were low, and back off accordingly, while still giving the viewer an entertaining fight scene. Like holly cow, that could not have been easy, but he did it flawlessly!!
In conclusion: The whole thing was just awesome! And I doubt there are many players who could have pulled that off!! Well Done Clay!!! You were fantastic!!!
I think I managed to figure it out. I'll be posting it later if anybody would like to take a look/judge it!
It's a frankenstein inspired artificer subclass built around upgrading and perfecting your own little undead companion
Hey, I'm looking for someone with experience using dndbeyonds homebrew system to whip up a subclass for me from a template I have? I'm willing to pay within reason if that helps
as fitting as it would be for the clingyduo to die in battle with dream (regardless of if they defeat him or not), tommy and tubbo deserve to live. they deserve so, so much to heal and move on. possibly when tommy returns to his old dirt home, he realizes just how much he can't handle being there, how many bad memories it brings. tubbo opens the door of his home in snowchester to see tommy, standing with no coat on, shivering in the doorway. when he gets his best friend inside, berating him for not being prepared, tommy tells him that he wants to join tubbo in snowchester. he's prepared to defend himself, to promise to listen to the rules and not cause trouble, but tubbo doesn't hesitate in saying yes. they stay up late into the night, talking and laughing, and the next day they begin work together on tommy's new home. the first thing they finish however, becomes a small spruce bench on a hill by the sea, a jukebox sitting nearby. its usually too cold to sit for long, but neither of them care, because they're here, they're alive, and they're going to be okay.
fear not! i have spent several days and a few all-nighters making this carrd that includes almost every plot-relevant stream i could remember, and organized them in chronological order by arc as clearly as possible!
it includes season one, the current season (up till yesterday), l'cast, dreamon hunters, and tales from the smp! i also wrote a little bit of a background info section about characters you’re expected to know about before they show up.
PLEASE use it because i worked so hard on it!
happy watching!
((also, please let me know if anything is scuffed or left out, and i will make the changes))

no wait this is the most alive ive felt in months someone announce something else batshit lets keep this shit train going what im feeling is not serotonin but BOY is it getting my blood pumping
okay but Techno saying his bit about reciprocity just sparks so much joy. we KNOW that Tommy has been repeatedly traumatized by Dream, he has adverse reactions every time he sees something that reminds him of exile, he gets confused every time he even thinks about Dream and his “friendship” with him, he repeatedly asks Techno for comfort whenever he thinks about Dream.
so Dream shows up, Dream who helped Techno escape death and rescue his horse, Dream who’s obviously trying to be on Techno’s side. Dream who brings up these things he’s done to help Techno in an effort to, what, guilt trip? manipulate? force Techno into telling him where Tommy is. direct quote from Dream in today’s stream: “I will say, y’know, you owe me, a little bit. But—“
and here goes Techno. “Ah, that’s true, that’s true. See Dream, you don’t, you don’t gotta worry Dream. I am a person that believes in absolute reciprocity.”
like.... what? at face value that’s such an interesting way for him to phrase that. just say, “yeah i owe you one.” instead, Techno uses his big language, his fancy speak, talkin about reciprocity.
cause Techno’s been around Tommy. he knows how messed up Tommy is over Dream. he doesn’t know exactly what Dream has done to Tommy, not at all, but he knows a bit about it. and he completely covers for Tommy to Dream because Dream has no fuckin right to be asking after Tommy and Techno knows it.
Techno might owe Dream for the save, but it’s not a reciprocal action for Techno to rat out a traumatized teenager to someone who’s been manipulating them. Techno’s really growing on me y’all.

the idea that your friends won't like you if you're too weird is wrong for example one time I told a friend whenever I was losing my mind I laid down on the floor under my desk and stared at it until I was better and next time she visited me she taped a bag of salami snacks to the underside of my desk with a message saying "going insane all by yourself, handsome?" which I only saw months later when I had a breakdown. that's friendship.
