The ghoulettes would offer to kill people's exes in the bar bathroom. They would share lipgloss and hand cream while doing it. They're entirely serious.
this has been rotting in my wips but anyways my take on the ghouls please accept it hehe
Please please tell us about your thoughts about everyday-life ghouls! I‘d love to hear about it /g
I think, when he's slept alone, Dew wakes up before everyone else. He gets up. Stumbles to their little kitchen. In my mind the kitchen and the "common room" are attached to each other, either through an open door way, or just one bit room that's split between several uses. Either way, Dew stumbles in. Shirtless. Sweatpants slung low on his hips. Hair down, in his face. He's barely awake. He makes a pot of coffee. He puts the kettle on for tea. He starts taking stuff out to make breakfast. Dew will get through his first cup of coffee--and half of breakfast prep before Mountain shows up. Dew's already made his tea, it's steeping on the counter when Mountain walks in, a pillow crease across his cheek. Looking bleary-eyed but here, awake. He and Dew will exist together in silence for a while. Dew drinks another cup of coffee. They work together toward breakfast. It's different every day, but Mountain can discern pretty easily from what's laid out where Dew was going with it. They work well together in silence. Dew brews another pot of coffee as Mountain puts a tray of bacon in the oven. He pours the leftovers from the first pot (brewed stronger than the second) into their communal jar of iced coffee in the fridge. The others start to emerge just as breakfast is ready. The bacon comes out and Cirrus and Aeon show up almost at the same time. Sunshine comes next, then Swiss and Aurora. Rain and Aether are always last. Sleeping in until the last possible second. Sometimes they both have their tea (Rain) and coffee (Aether) brought to them in bed. But usually they show up toward the end of breakfast. Just as Cirrus and Cumulus are getting ready for their morning walk around the lake (sometimes others join them, sometimes they don't). Mountain eats with the bulk of the ghouls and departs with them too, heading to the greenhouse to get an early start. Dew eats when Rain and Aether eat. Once everything is done and cooked and everyone else is fed. It's quiet in the kitchen by then, everyone else already getting a start on their day. Rain and Aether help Dew clean up. And then one, or both, of them will try to persuade Dew to go back to bed for a nap. Sometimes he does. Sometimes he refuses--goes and does something productive. But more often then not they compromise and end up on the couch a few feet away. Snuggled up together, napping, under the guise of watching TV.
The fashion industry is shifting toward sustainability, driven by consumer demand for more ethical and environmentally friendly practices. At the forefront of this movement is slow fashion, a counter to the fast fashion frenzy that emphasizes quality, ethical production, and environmental responsibility. However, as more brands claim to be “green" or “sustainable,” greenwashing, the practice of making misleading or exaggerated claims about a product's eco-friendliness has also emerged. Understanding the difference between authentic sustainability efforts and greenwashing is essential for conscious consumers.
What is Slow Fashion?
Slow Fashion is all about buying less and buying better. Instead of constantly purchasing cheap, trendy clothes that wear out quickly, slow fashion asks us to invest in pieces that are:
Made to last: High-quality materials and timeless designs that can be worn for years.
Ethically produced: Workers are paid fair wages and work in safe conditions.
Environmentally friendly: Brands use sustainable materials like organic cotton or recycled fabrics and minimize waste in production.
In short, slow fashion is not just about clothes - it is about changing how we think about consumption. It is a movement that promotes mindful shopping, encouraging us to connect more with the items we buy and their impact on the world.
What is Greenwashing?
Unfortunately, not all brands are honest about their sustainability efforts. Greenwashing happens when companies mislead customers by promoting their products as “eco-friendly” without actually making significant changes to how they produce them. This can look like:
Vague claims: Words like “natural” or “eco-friendly” without any proof or specific details.
Small gestures: A company might use organic cotton in one product line but continue using harmful practices in the rest of its operations.
Focusing on packaging, not production: They might offer biodegradable packaging but ignore the environmental damage caused by making the actual clothes.
It is like a fresh coat of paint over a house that is falling apart - it looks good on the surface, but underneath, nothing has changed.
An example of greenwashing is the H&M Conscious Collection. The collection launched in 2019, aiming to offer more sustainable fashion options. The brand claimed to use materials such as organic cotton, recycled polyester, and circulose. However, investigations and lawsuits have raised questions about the authenticity of H&M's sustainability claims (Ponte 2023).
Misleading Environmental Scores: A Quartz investigation revealed that H&M's self-reported environmental scores were often inaccurate or inflated. The company used the Higg Index, a sustainability certification system, but the scores were sometimes misleading or incorrect (Ponte 2023).
Class-Action Lawsuit: H&M faced a class-action lawsuit in the USA, alleging that its marketing of the Conscious Collection was misleading (Shendruk 2022). The lawsuit claimed that H&M's advertising falsely represented the sustainability of its products, leading consumers to believe they were purchasing environmentally friendly clothing.
Recycled Polyester Controversy: The lawsuit also pointed out that the recycling used in the Conscious Collection was not as sustainable as claimed. Once plastic bottles are converted into clothing, they often end up in landfills or incineration, which is not environmentally friendly (Wright 2023).
In conclusion, the H&M Conscious Collection shows how tricky it is to be sustainable in fast fashion. While the company is making efforts, accusations of greenwashing highlight the need for honesty and real action, not just marketing claims.
How to Spot Authentic Slow Fashion Brands?
Here are a few tips to help you identify genuine slow fashion brands from those just greenwashing:
Look for Transparency: Honest brands will tell you where their clothes are made, who made them, and what materials they used. They will also share details about their supply chain and environmental impact.
Check for Certifications: Look for third-party certifications like Fair Trade, Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), or OEKO-TEX, which verify that the brand meets a high standard of environmental and ethical practices.
Buy Fewer, Better Items: True slow fashion brands encourage mindful consumption. They will focus on creating high-quality, long-lasting pieces rather than pushing constant new collections or sales.
How can We Do?
As consumers, we have more power than we realize. Here is how we can help move the fashion industry in the right direction:
Buy Less: Focus on buying pieces that you love and will wear for years. Avoid fast trends and impulse buys.
Choose Secondhand: Thrift shopping or buying from secondhand platforms extends the life of clothes and reduces waste.
Support Ethical Brands: When you do buy new, choose brands that are transparent and truly committed to slow fashion values.
Educate yourself: The more you know about sustainable fashion, the better choice you can make. Stay informed about brands' sustainability practices, and do not be afraid to ask questions.
Conclusion: Your Choices Matter
Slow Fashion is not just a trend. It is a movement that can help save our planet. By choosing to support ethical, sustainable brands and avoiding those who greenwash, we can all make a difference. It is about buying smarter, wearing longer, and caring more.
In the end, fashion is a reflection of who we are, and by making conscious choices, we can show that we care about the environment, the people who make our clothes, and the world we live in.
Let's wear our values proudly !!!!!!!

nanami is a disciplined man, a creature of habit. he wakes up early, gets ready for work with precision, and leaves the house on time. but there is one part of his routine that he refuses to rush—those ten precious minutes before he has to leave, where he gets to hold you, kiss you, and remind you just how much he loves you.
this morning is no different. the alarm has gone off, but instead of getting up immediately, nanami rolls over, pressing his face into the crook of your neck. you’re still half-asleep, curled up under the blankets, but you hum softly when his lips brush over your shoulder.
“i need to get up,” he murmurs, though he makes no effort to move away. his hand slides over your waist, warm and steady, pulling you closer.
“no,” you mumble, voice thick with sleep as you nuzzle against his chest. “stay.”
nanami exhales a quiet laugh, pressing a kiss to your forehead. “you know i can’t,” he says, though he sounds just as reluctant as you feel.
“you can,” you argue, tilting your head up so he has no choice but to kiss your lips next. he does, soft and lingering, as if you’ve got him under a spell. maybe you do. maybe you always have.
“ten minutes,” he whispers against your lips, a reminder for himself more than for you.
those ten minutes belong to you. they always do.
his hands wander, tracing over your back, memorizing the warmth of your skin. his lips press over your face—your forehead, your cheeks, your nose, before returning to your lips like he’s drawn to them. he whispers between kisses, voice low and reverent.
“i love you.”
kiss.
“i love you so much.”
kiss.
“you make it impossible to leave.”
another kiss, deeper this time, until he hears you sigh against him, fingers curling into his shirt like you’ll never let go.
“so don’t,” you plead, and nanami’s resolve wavers. it always does when it comes to you.
“you’ll be the death of me,” he groans, burying his face in your neck again. “if i call in, it’s your fault.”
“i’ll take full responsibility,” you promise, and he knows you’re smiling even with your eyes still closed.
he exhales, pressing one last, lingering kiss to your lips before finally—reluctantly—pulling away. “i’ll come home early,” he assures you, smoothing your hair. “and then i’ll make it up to you.”
“you’d better.” you mumble, already drifting back to sleep as he tucks you under the blankets.
nanami lingers at the door for a moment, watching you, memorizing you, before finally stepping out.
but even as he leaves, his heart stays with you.

Bonus:
I did a few doodles over Twitter and would like to show them here because honestly- I liked them! Imma put them all in one post cuz it's easier that way (I apologize for the long post) This one shows off the designs for the ghouls that I have done (for now) I still plan on doing more but I found myself doodling these sillies more when I first got obsessed with Ghost.
+ This Mountain ghoul bonus doodle, it was more like an extra note about their form! This one is about the Ghoulettes, I still gotta come up with their designs but I have a few things in mind already
Sleepy Mountain doodle because I was very sleepy when I doodled it fjahhjf
Ifrit. My only way to describe this one is Terzo is better than me cuz I would've gone insane (He moves like a cartoon character, how can I not.)
I still plan on finishing the design too since I have something in mind but this is it for now! And the final doodle: Ghoul cuddle pile, but they fell asleep.
I apologize once again for the long post but hawjf just got too lazy to separate them all
Sorry, it's my headcanon, they're like cats... demon-cats, nothing more to say, bye
Slightly unhinged take but Aurora’s vibe is like all of Twice’s discography
