Tank Girl debuted in 1988 in "Deadline" magazine, created by Alan Martin and Jamie Hewlett. Set in a water-scarce, post-apocalyptic world, Tank Girl, aka Rebecca Buck, navigates chaos in her tank. Hewlett's gritty, punk-inspired art defined the series, vividly portraying Tank Girl's rebellious adventures. The comic's success led to collected editions and a 1995 film. Hewlett's vibrant, expressive style remains integral, shaping Tank Girl into a symbol of counterculture and feminist defiance.
inspired from this drawing
i admit that i didn't like much how it turned out. It's too similar to the picture i took inspiration from and i don't know if i like this alien design much. I'm trying really hard to like this drawing.
anyway. Because i thought it was gonna be a great drawing and i genuinely thought i would love the final result, i recorded a timelapse. Yes it's super sped up because it took me a WHILE to get everything right and my timelapse thing is set to 30 seconds by default so that's why it's this mess xd
i love how we're all just so delusional when it comes to mcr5 that whenever the number 5 shows up in something mcr related we're all just like: 🫵🫵AHA🫵🫵 MCR5 IS REAL MCR5 IS REAL HAHAHAHAH *laughs like a maniac*
So I went outside, and there were no raindrops on roses or girls in white dresses, smh
I haven’t posted about MCR in a hot minute but I do wanna say something about Bob. No, he wasn’t a good person. No, you don’t have to suddenly like him because he’s gone. But you can still acknowledge that he was in an awful situation and that it is a horrible way to be found and that whatever happened to him must’ve been a scary way to go. My heart goes out to his friends and family because this is a horrible, traumatizing thing to learn happened a loved one - especially after you haven’t heard anything from them for nearly a month. You can have some compassion while not excusing Bob’s actions.
