Do yourself a blessing and please give it a watch. These great movies were so severly underrated
the editing on that Mulan trailer was just so beautiful and it made me cry, especially the part where they were like “quiet, composed, graceful, disciplined” intercut with shots of Mulan being a “good wife” and Mulan being a “warrior”
it’s as if saying the qualities of a “good wife” are also the qualities of a “warrior” and I love the implication that traditional “feminine” qualities are not looked at negatively or that a girl has to be “masculine” in order to be a warrior, but that these traditional “good wife” qualities are what makes a warrior
this is an amazing teaser trailer and I’m so hyped

I had lunch at Chick-fil-A and walked up to the register to get a refill of lemonade and the guy just looks me in the eye and says, “lemonade??? Really??? Not Dr Pepper? I’m disappointed.” And I look down and remember I’m wearing my vintage thrift store Dr Pepper shirt.

When I was in the elementary school, at the end of the year we could bring in a CD and do kareoke with the music you brought.
I only had one CD that I knew of, the one the played my lullabies at night (that one baby Kenny Loggins CD, return to POOH CORNER)
So I brought it in and since technology sucks we couldn’t really skip songs, so I was like, k cool, I’ll just sing the first song. But I don’t really know the words,
Like at all
So there I stand, with this random guy from my table that I forced to stand beside me, mumbling the tunes until it hits the chorus
I scream out “ALL THE PRETTY LITTLE PONIES”
Then it goes back to the verses and I just start to play an air piano while the entire class has to watch me jamming on the imaginary keys for the next 3 minutes.
Gosh did I have such blind confidence
