Lockwood and Co has destroyed me
slow burn so slow that there are two books about them in which they don't get together, then in the book they do get together in it doesn't happen until the LAST PAGE and then just for good measure there's one more book about them as a reward for making it this far
also
Kaz Brekker 🤝 Anthony Lockwood
not sleeping in persuit of an impossible job and having no idea how to talk to their crush
"he called me an investment!"
"he called me an asset!"
Inej Ghafa 🤝 Lucy Carlyle
At last my life is fulfilled I've been waiting for this book to come for soooo long
who's doing it like him
the Quilin (might've spelt that wrong) bows to Dumbledore??? This makes no sense to me. Isn't it supposed to bow to someone pure of heart who can handle power and not be corrupt??? Dumbledore has already shown that he can be corrupted from his dealings with Grindelwald, why would he be chosen? He's a good man but he certainly has a capacity for evil. I propose that the Quillin should've bowed to Newt. I am certain that that man is literally incorruptible and he is so pure and wonderful, all he wants to do is help creatures he does not and will never have plans to use power for ill, so isn't he perfect??? Idk I just thought it was odd.
never forget that one time Sherlock Holmes (while Watson was trying to go to bed) took all the cushions and pillows from the room, put them on the floor, sat on them in his dressing gown, and stayed up all night smoking his pipe. the next morning he woke poor Watson up at 4am, called himself one of the biggest fools in Europe and said he deserved to be 'kicked from here to Charing Cross', then said that he'd solved the mystery and the answer was in the bathroom. he had solved the mystery.
I just finished shadow and Bone TV series and I am not ok I am not ok
Me? Oh, no I'm completely fine. Definitely not spending every waking moment thinking about how Faramir gave Éowyn his mother's cloak and kissed her on the city walls and taught her that she could come out of the dark and find happiness again. Or that Éowyn showed Faramir that he was truly worth something very valuable when his father had always acted as though he were worthless and the person who loved him unconditionally, his brother, was dead. Nope. Not thinking about that. At all.
