This was during my semi-Thanksgiving trip to France in 2014. ๐โ๏ธ๐ฅ (at Paris, France)
Todayโs Art Wednesday was brought to you by patron Arthur, who wanted to see Buwaro as an Angel & Kieri as a Demon!

Jean Jacket (unfolded) from Nope
Made with acrylics/oil paints, I figured I celebrate the occasion of Halloween by painting a recreated screenshot of Jean Jacketโs true form. Ever since I watched the movie, I have always been fascinated by this creature, the themes surrounding it, and especially how it works. If Peele ever decides to make a sequel, I definitely want to learn more about what these things are, if there are more, and where they came from.

Heart Cake a la Thiebaud
With my first week of landscape painting class, I used up a bit of the leftover paints as well as my own for this one. After finding a few cake paintings made by a guy named Wayne Thiebaud, I figured I try something similar to what he did. As you can see, mine isnโt as complex in terms of tone or details, but I tried my very best.
This is my most favorite Chuck Jones cartoon; somehow I almost wish it were more well-recognized. I mean I kind of like the mouse's hat at the beginning of the cartoon, I wish I had one like that.
Banny, The rabbit is starving!
I thought Iโd get creative when I got to work on this portrait of Banny. Her face blending into the background is meant to give off a ghostly aura, hence her possesser, Susan Woodings was the first of Bonโs victims to die a miserable death. Her in-universe character isnโt safe either; she may be a ditzy klutz, but I wish Bon wasnโt so hard on her all the time.

I've got two words for this, almost unbelievable... ๐
Bubblegum Scumble
Another quick painting I did to experiment with my cheap paints for scumbling. I always had a thing for bubblegum, especially in cartoons, comics, anime, games, etc. With how translucent my paints usually turn out, I thought Iโd try them out on this. I was a little impatient with the lips, since I didnโt have enough time to put any light on them or make them more anatomically correct. But I think the bubble turned out pretty nicely.
Wow, who would've thought Rhea can be such a big-eater?
Slightly Damned has been too much of a bummer lately so I fixed it
