Why are old lovers able to become friends? Two reasons. They never truly loved each other, or they love each other still.

I want it to rain right now so I can fall asleep to the sound of it tapping against the walls of my home. I love when it rains, its calming to me. its just nice to watch it drip down a window weather that window is in a car or a home, it’s nice to look at. and when its thundering my dad and I like to watch the lightning. I remember the power going out once and my family just hung out and played games. one time the power was out at night and I still used a night light so I was too scared to sleep alone, so my momai let me sleep with her. we were very happy when the power came on but it was nice to hang out with her. neither of us could sleep and we just cuddled and talked forever. I used to run outside in the rain with my siblings and spin around in circles like I was in a Disney movie. I once tried to count the raindrops on the window haha. The rain inspires me in a way. it also makes me feel cozy and warm and safe when watching it from inside my home. the sound is so calming and just hearing it makes me feel happy and calm. I get so many memories from simply seeing grey clouds.
I love the rain.
