Are you looking for some fics off the beaten path? Some hidden jewels that you are surprised you have not discovered before? Then look no further! This is a short and improvised list of fics from authors who are all amazing and underappreciated and should be showered with love and support! There’s surely something for everyone and don’t forget to leave some kudos and comments because more than coffee, it’s your appreciation that fuels them to keep going! Once I Was by @hellstrojanhorse Our queen of angst! Trojan has so many fantastic stories that beautifully handle rather heavy subjects. This collection gives us some heart-wretching glimpses into the apocalypse timeline and I can guarantee you’ll forgot to breath at certain points. Risetober 2022 by @mej2235 Mej is a brilliant writer who is like a cornucopia of ideas! She never runs out of them and so her Risetober challenge really shows her at her greatest with playing around with and deep diving into all kinds of concepts and prompts that will you leave wishing for more! I think we broke the time continuum by @havendoesthings This is hands down one of the most creative, fun and wonderful crossover conepts you will ever encounter! This chat fic focuses on the disaster twins and their counter-parts discussing all sorts of problems and ideas in server-chats leading to fun and moving interactions irl. Only a Hundred Days by @ashtreeess Ash possess some seriously raw talent when it comes to writing. They are currently working on a grander Rottmnt OC project but this post-series fic is a great teaser for their ability to write crisp dialogue and atmospheric scenes.

The Era of Tigerclaw by Moon (I don’t know your tumblr wefawefwE) Moon is our champ when it comes to creating cool Rottmnt OCs and they’ve created their own version of Tigerclaw in the Rise universe. Enjoy their variety of intriguing yokai characters and their own adventures!

Baby Blue, Flew Away by @ossadeaurata Our second queen of angst! Ossa’s writing is raw and emotional that draws you in with on-point pieces of dialogue and heart-wrenching character descriptions. My rec is a one shot she wrote shortly after the movie’s release and when I read it for the first time it was making me feel all the feels! For anyone who’s reading this (and that goes for those that I tagged too), feel free to add some works of yours to the list! I would love to discover new fics and there are so many that do not receive the love they deserve!
