This day, 2001. To this day, the intensity of my hatred for the perp has not lessened. Thank the Gods for Karma; knowing that he, and I, always answer for our deeds, I put one foot in front of the other, and do my best to keep mine balanced. Seeing and feeling the pain this brought my family has not made it easy, but the pain I could have caused them by dealing with the mfs myself, and in the end not be there for any of them, gave me pause. I asked the Old Ones to give me a sign if I was to be allowed to bring retribution...18 years on, the answer remains, "No..." So Mote It Be.

Several weeks ago, the little lady above - Louie - wanted to beat the brindle right off of new kid JB(formally known as Jayne Beans). As of yesterday, there was playing and chasing going on in the yard, and Louie only corrected him once, when he playfully jumped on her head; she didn't bite, but he immediately sat down in front of her. Progress is being made! He has also gained 6 lbs since being rescued.
