I feel like a lot of liberals, especially the younger generation, don't really have any core beliefs other than "let everyone do as they please!" they're radical individualists. If something makes me happy, then it's good. If something makes them happy, then it's good because who am i to get in the way of someone else's happiness and freedom. No structural analysis. I think that women who harm other women & uphold/engage in patriarchal structures at the detriment of other women tend to be infantilised by feminists & feminist aligned women. MaIe identified womens actions tend to be excused under the guise of "they don't know", "it's internal misogyny", or "they're just trying to survive", etc whenever they're criticised & held accountable for their actions. These women aren't stupid, they're aware of the misogynistic world we're in & the consequences of their actions. Many of these women only care a little when things backfire.
