Types of women/red flags to avoid in friendships.

Women who always complain about everything

Women who seek to embarass you in front of others.

Women who dont acknowledge you in front of others.

Women who often -subtly- put you down.

Women who constantly tell you when other people say something bad about you

Yes-gyns. Women who always blindly agree with everything you say.

Women who always make excuses

MaIe-crazy women.

Women who dont respect boundaries.

Been seeing some ignorant ass takes that assume that bp/sep women have done nothing for women.

I was a crisis line worker for a rape shelter. My job was to find and secure shelter spaces for homeless women, to coordinate appointments for women entering rehabilitation centers, to fundraise, to research legal records for violent male offenders, and to offer peer support and counselling over the phone for women - often for victims of male sexual abuse.

There was an incident where a lesbian woman contacted us seeking help, because she needed a place to stay temporarily, and the shelter was extremely hesitant to help her and gave her a difficult time because she wasn't directly a victim of male violence. Even though they had the means to help her.

~50% of the shelter's volunteers at that time were lesbians.

The woman who came to us was shocked and felt mishandled. I was disappointed as well and I had been advocating for her. She lost faith in the organization, which she had trusted because of its reputation. And I said, this is not sitting right with me. So I quit.

Some people have love for humanity, but no compassion for it, no real empathy for human beings that goes beyond the surface level and superficial. Being a misanthropist with compassion is better than being a philanthropist who thinks that there is ultimately nothing fundamentally wrong with the world, who thinks it's okay if all the horrors that humans are subjected to continue to persist, because they think "everything balances out in the end" or because "everything happens for a reason" or some shit. Like I'm sorry, but we definitely tolerate toxic positivity and allow it to masquerade as healthy optimism out of a fear of ever validating anything that seems "too edgy" way, way too much. At some point a desire to only think normal thoughts that aren't cringe turns into intellectual cowardice and moral laziness, and you've definitely reached that point if your attitude towards the abundance of heinous suffering in this world is just, "oh gee well that sure is unfortunate, but you know, ultimately life is beautiful and everything is okay, and none of that stuff really matters in the grand scheme of things, life is still inherently good, etc. etc."

If there is no form of suffering so heinous to you that you would rather vaporize the planet than allow it to continue for one more day, then I'm sorry but you are someone with a hollow and performative affection for your species. Valuing the mere absence or presence of human minds over the actual experiential quality of the lived realities of real humans will always be oonga boonga brain shit to me, I'm sorry. Like your primal drive to support the species' survival is dampening your higher moral functioning. I would rather live in a world where there's just three clones named Sally who are immortal and always happy, than live in a world where millions of people are enduring unspeakable horrors every single day, sorry. "The beauty of life" and "the wonderful tenacity of the human spirit" mean nothing to me when there are people living their entire lives in slavery and little girls are getting gangraped to death. The fact that people regularly take their own lives because their pain is so unbearable that they'd prefer to just cease existing should tell us all we need to know about the value of quantity vs. quality on this issue. Life itself is not inherently good any more than anything else is, and more life does not automatically equal more value and goodness. If you see nothing wrong with throwing new people into this world despite knowing what it could have in store for them, what potential fates they, or their children, could endure, then you only love humanity in the way you love coffee or a good book. You love the idea of humanity. The ideal of humanity. What humanity represents to you. You love humanity as a concept, not as a collection of individual human beings with thoughts and feelings.

disturbing parallels i've seen with tras and christianity (as an ex christian)

christians: the bible says it's real because the bible says it's true!

tras: transgender individuals are: (the gender they identify with) because they say they are the gender they identify with!

we don't understand how x works

christians: god works in mysterious ways

tras: only people can define the gender they are. (only women know what women are)

ostracization from the community

christians: so and so is an atheist/gay. is walking down a worldly path. we can't associate with them anymore .

demanding access into places

christian's: we demand that creationism be taught in public school. that the 10 commandments be showcased in every school!

tras: trans women deserve to be in women's sports! trans women deserve to be in locker rooms! trans women deserve to be in female only spaces!!

strict gender roles

christian's: a woman must be submissive, feminine, present herself in a way that is pleasing to god, and must present herself as non aggressive, gentle, be focused on her husband and children

tras: if a person identifies as a woman they MUST be submissive! they must be emotional! they're very soft spoken and passive, and love being soft, and have a gender non conforming/feminine fashion so they MUST be a woman!

tras: you're trans? oh wait, now you can go through years of hormone therapy treatment! you can start voice training to be perceived as the gender you've chosen! then if you feel comfortable you can have surgeries to look your identity!

Behind every misogynist is a girlfriend/wife and/or mother who is okay with it.

These women want to be hand-held and coddled as they willingly walk into the fire. It's just not gonna happen. Sorry. You're going to get criticism and pushback. You cannot navigate relationships with men safely. There will always be risks regardless of how many legal or cultural boundaries you attempt to put in place to protect women.

At this point you have already been told the risks of rape and violence; you have already been told the truth about male nature that you choose to ignore in favor of adopting the socialization cope; you already have abortifacients and contraception, as well as resources available for women in DV situations and these are not perfect solutions. So what is the last bastion of defense against males other than to avoid them altogether which the bulk of you refuse to do or act like if you do it Gilead will descend upon us as if it isn't already while women are still willingly giving men what they want?

It is illogical for OSA women to sit up here saying that men are evil predators, pedos, and rapists and then turn around and defend dick to the death, continuing to serve them and birth their sons.

You should be saying this to the MEN who deprive you women of safe, fulfilling relationships by being the way they are.

All WE are doing is pointing out that you are the ones choosing to date your oppressor, gamble with your lives, and choosing to pursue the same men that you KNOW are dangerous and deceptive. And then when you inevitably get burnt you throw tantrums towards the women who don't participate in your trauma-bonding circle-jerk and pat you on the back for what the big bad man did.
