“Actually, I just woke up one day and decided I didn’t want to feel like that anymore, or ever again. so I changed. Just like that.”

Don’t you owe it to yourself to live your dreams, to at least try? To wake up and put your best foot forward, to do the things you’ve been saying you’re going to do. To make some fucking moves. You know how powerful it feels to make progress, so why are you holding yourself back? Why are you blocking yourself from your dreams? What matters right now is that you get out of your own fucking way, that you push forward. You pull your shit together and you make today fucking count. You pull out your to do list and you start stabbing through those tasks like a beast. With so much force and energy within you, that you’re ready to destroy today. Destroy it in a way that reveals all the trapped energy, stagnant energy that has been dormant inside of you. That you finally come alive and snap out of this low, inefficient state. That today you are finally awakened.
romanticize your life. i cannot stress this enough. use scented shower gel and shampoo, so you look forward to showers. go on walks and see how pretty the sky looks. notice the wildflowers on the roadside as you drive. light a candle when you get home to make your room smell good. notice & appreciate the little things in life. it won’t cure your mental illness, but it’ll make it easier to exist in this world.
“Be a dream. Be gentle and soft in everything that you do. Dancing on the lines of things real and not. Drift through life calmly as though nothing could faze you and reality means nothing.”
— (via sleepise)
morning affirmation
I will take care of my body and all it carries. I will gently wake up my skin with warm water and shimmering lotions, I will be delicate and patient with my tangled hair that represents my good night of needed sleep. I will feed my body the substances it requires to flourish and gift myself with steamy lavender tea and honey as he fog leaks through the screen of my windows.
I am a beacon of light who will be soft and understanding to those around me who may be found in darker places in their own minds. I will reject the idea of taking others emotions personally. As one loads their bow with an arrow of negativity at me, I will consider why I am the target, or what I can provide to lower their weapons. I will not fight negativity with negativity, only with understanding and a soft heart. I will nourish my soul and stretch my body in the sun. I will care for myself deeply today.
how romanticizing everything changed my life
- i started to feel beautiful every day. i fell in love with my features and stopped having desires to make changes such as surgery, extensions etc.
- my personality improved drastically. i’m a fun loving girl that enjoys making people laugh and feel good about themselves, and people gravitate towards me for it
- my limiting beliefs decreased immensely. gone were the days of thinking someone else was better suited for the thing i wanted to do, i’m the perfect girl for the job
- i stopped letting what people could *possibly* think about me, hinder me. i can’t read minds. i don’t know what anyone truly thinks….so i’m not going to attempt to
- i finally cultivated a personal style that makes me feel gorgeous. i wear what makes me feel most comfortable and cute!
- i became better at prioritizing rest and relaxation. getting my brows threaded, getting pedicures, watching movies, taking naps. i feel guilt free doing all of those things. i love putting in work, but i need my body to be a well oiled machine in order to really get it all done.
- i let go of the idea that i needed to *act* a certain way be feminine. yes i love pink. do i NEED to wear pink to be feminine? of course not. the things i wear are just outward expressions of my innate femininity. they are not the source of it.
