I understand your feeling , sometimes I have to take a pause or just not read at all , like you said , you know that he's a cannon asshole , but there's some fanfics that are way too harsh and the reader - s/o ain't able to enjoy BASIC HUMAN NEEDS LIKE IDK , EATING , TAKING A BATH , CHANGE THEIR CLOTHES -

So lately I found myself with this 3 types of Jhonny :

Jhonny cannon ( The real one , a different level of jerk that it's suffocating and cruel )

Jhonny midly cannon ( He's an asshole who was moments of kindness , but they're overshadowed by new mistakes that he makes , the s/o is in a constant cycle of waiting an act of kindness to justify his toxic behavior )

Fanon Jhonny ( My favorite personally , he's a total opposite with his s/o , a classic yandere , with some hints of threatening , sometimes more direct , sometimes not , but he would never lift a finger to hurt them , or at least , no initially )

i physically cannot bring myself to read certain genres of johnny fics for the simple reason that they are too triggering. like i know he is a canon piece of shit scumbag and i love it because i am all for the fantasy of combatting this man since it makes two of us to be sick and twisted in our own ways.

but i cannot even indulge the slightest bit of reading fiction where my autonomy would be taken away or taken advantage of, having experienced some of those things or knowing people in my personal life who have experienced those things. as an extension, nancy herself is a walking trigger for me. like i loathe her out of my own personal reasons LMFAO i genuinely cannot stand her despite that i am excited for her release.

all that to say, i truly adore all the johnny writers and creators for everything they put out. i feel the tcm fandom is so niche especially for the game for indulging in this kind of content, so i always appreciate it <3 also big smooches for the writers always putting in trigger warnings in detail, it helps a ton.

There's gonna be always a fanon and cannon version of something or some character , but it hurts to know that the character / idea is off the table and because off that you have to ignore it completely the cannon side ( Sometimes because the character has changed , the creator changed the character in ways that you don't get how , the idea is something that the creator does not support / likes / thinks it's possible , etc ) . The good thing is that in the extense world of internet , maybe one or two people will share ideas with you about that fanon part , and that's something else honestly .

I recently saw that is not exactly Jhonny's room , but it can be called like that . On the cooling chamber we will found Maria's body along with other girls hung up in the meat hooks , that probably got his interest , the HC or theory of him being not also a predator in all senses but a possible necrophiliac can be midly cannon ( unfortunately ) .

A THOUGHT ABOUT MARIA'S BODY ON THE UPCOMING TCM GAME NEW MAP

So as some people would know , probably on the new map where in Nancy's house , apparently in Johnny's room , you might encounter Maria Flores's ( Anna's older sister and protagonist of the petals short playthrough ) body there . Here's a HC or a theory about this .

The sawyers do not grieve like the majority of people do , they keep the bodies of those close ones with them and act like they're still conscious or somehow alive . Examples of this :

Their grandmother on the first and second movie makes apparition but as a dead corpse , we can see her on her wheel chair and wearing her clothes close to her who we assume , her husband . On the second is more clearly this appreciation towards her on the end of it , where Chop Top ( Robert Sawyer ) seems to be worried about the safety of his grandma and accusing Vanita of killing her ( this was obviously a dark joke because she was dead a long time ago )

On the second movie, we can see that the sawyers kept some of the victims bodies / skeleton's as decoration , except for Franklin and Nubbins . Nubbins is the twin brother of Chop Top and known as the hitchhiker on the first movie but we only got to see one of them . He got inside the van and had a conversation with Franklin , who seemed to be the only one interested on the things that he was talking about , but after Pam sush them down and they deny him money for the picture , he leaves the van after cutting himself and Franklin's arm with his knife . Franklin dies after searching on his own with a flashlight the other ones by Bubba , and Nubbins hit by a truck while chasing Sally , his sister . Maybe this HC hasn't sense because they both die on the same day / night , but there's a possibility that Nubbins kept Franklin's body for seeing him as a " friend " before getting inside the house ( this would make the other members know to not mess with the body ) . Nubbins's corpse is used on the movie as a morbid puppet that they drag around ( specially his twin ) that they still talk to , feed and dress him up as if he was alive .

Now , the story of the game happens before this event , the first victim ( well , not first but you get it ) is Maria Flores , a college student that her car broke down and started to take pictures around from the nature and animals . Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that she saw Jhonny on a bar and found him attractive but nothing else , but it wasn't the same for him . He stalked her from afar or without being seen by her . @lelandswife wrote a HC about Jhonny killing in order to receive some kind of affection from his family but specially his mother , so when he found attractive Maria ( or whatever thing he had for this poor girl ) and saw her adoration towards the bunny she was trying to take a picture of , he killed it in a morbid show of affection . María looses track of time and gets more and more deep inside the Sawyers property even if it was already dark , taking one last picture of another bunny before getting jump scared by Jhonny that steals her camera . I don't remember who exactly wrote the HC , but there's one going around that he might not wanted her to be a victim more and was only playing around with her , scaring her away with the hope she gets out of their property . María runs but on the opposite direction of him towards the Sawyers house , Sissy opening the door from her pleading screams for help , only to encounter Bubba , running again , but this time , Jhonny ( I presume he didn't care at this point if she would get alive or not ) hurts her , drags her inside the house with Sissy and gets killed by Bubba with his chainsaw . So , I think that if we are able to see Maria's body is because Jhonny WANTED to keep it , and if for what it looks like for her missing clothes ( This might can change on the future , but the model of her body only has a ripped shirt and panties ) , he not only kept it intact , but more probably than not abuse her already dead body and treat her corpse like a morbid sex doll ( Who knows , maybe he does that with girls that he likes until their corpses are way too far rotten to be treated such way ) since the possibility of him treating her nicely genuinely out of love is almost impossible due his personality .

I had this HC that Jhonny would do ANYTHING to get his s/o attention , just like when he seek his mother attention when he was younger . What about a s/o that does not fall for him at first sight like usually girls do ? Someone that is not impressed and won't be since they know how bad he is . He would kill , show all types of affection , lift heavy weights in front of them , buy / steal things from them , hell , I think if he's that desperate he might COOK AND CLEAN ( try since he won't know how to do those things probably , I mean , all his life his mother did those for him ) to show how husband material he is . And if that s/o isn't falling after all his effort .... Well idk , my imagination run out lol

have johnny brain rot & i can’t stop thinking about him & stockholm reader having this moment in the sunflower fields, but for context

I imagine johnny from a very young age has been embedded with this idea of being praised for his killings, of course it would’ve been from Nancy. She would praise him from killing small animals & young johnny would do so often as a way to show affection. I like to think he did the same for maria, with whatever weird infatuation he had with her. In petals, she’s clearly interested in the rabbit and johnny ends up killing one to show her, though she’s appalled by it.

Now I picture johnny x s!reader in the fields together. Perhaps patrolling the yards with him since they need to “make themselves useful”. The walk for a while before stumbling upon a rabbit. The reader stops in admiration & johnny notices it before pulling his knife going to do what he believes would get their approval. Reader notices this & abruptly stops him asking him what he’s doing. Johnny is confused simply because he was just trying to do what he was taught, he wanted to kill the creature for their approval and a way to show his affection for them in the only way he really knows how. Reader makes him put his blade away before having a sweet moment together. Reader gestures for Johnny to crouch down with them & he hesitantly does so. Reader lures the rabbit towards them where they began to gently stroke it. Reader looks over to johnny who is completely confused and they take his hand, pulling off his glove, and gently place it over the creatures soft fur. Johnny is conflicted with many emotions & this is his first time in contact with any small animal that didn’t end in blood. Reader notices the gleam in his eyes and smiles.

LEONARDO'S DIFFERENT VERSION DATING HCS ( PART 2 )

Depending on his mood he might be more open about PDA some days ( Special occasions , peace before / after war, etc ), but in general he likes to keep it simple in front of others and let himself go in private

Unless you already know or start training self defense he won't let you go on missions , he would try to convince April to persuade you to stay with her while they do their stuff

Tries to take you beautiful or aesthetic places , but more often than not you two will be interrupted , so to avoid that he started to give you more gifts and spend more quality time inside a safe place

He loves it when you compliment his appearance , but if you compliment his skills and wisdom ? OOF , this man would be all giggly and blushing like a school boy

Denial and silent jealousy , he would not communicate his thoughts and would try himself to stop thinking that way , but it only gets worse . Fortunately , when he's on the edge of exploiting he would try his best to talk with you about it

Even when he's on the foot clan he would still choosing you

Ok so first to talk about this version I say that if you decide to keep being his friend you have to teach him a lot of stuff ( Maybe I'll add a HC )

The thing is that you were just or more patient with him than his counterpart , making him reflex about his existence , morals , actions , everything
