what would you like to see out of s6 of bcs?

things i would like to see and realistically they could happen:

more screentime for nacho and poc-centric plotlines. if nacho disappears for 2-3 straight episodes with no explanation one more time i’m gonna snap

lalo and nacho interactions after the assassination attempt that bring some more nuance into their relationship. while i love them, a lot of their dynamic happens off-screen and we wanna see it!!!

a nice angsty scene between nacho and his papá that makes me cry

nacho having more autonomy over his choices

mike helping nacho protect manuel

more interactions with mike and nacho in general, their dynamic used to be one of my faves back in the early seasons and i miss that. besides, nacho really needs someone he can trust.

more lalo being a cat on all levels except physical

idk how they can keep lalo’s constant appearances since he’s in mexico now but i really hope they’ll keep it up because lbr lalo single-handedly carried season 5 on his shoulders.

lalo’s likely going to die because by brba’s salud hector is the last living salamanca, so make him go out with a bang.

just.............. the cartel storyline basically. all i want is for it to be developed with as much thought and attention as they put into all the other storylines.

some lydia and gus scenes (mlm/wlw solidarity) would be really nice too

nacho and his papá to be safe and okay by the end. i don’t need it to be a fairytale happy ending, but i need a well-written one. like i said many times before on this blog nacho is the only decent poc representation we’ve got on this show and killing him off in a grotesque way for shock value would be so cheap.

on that same note, happy ending for nacho but before we get there please i want angst to leave me DEVASTATED.

things i would love to see but it’s very unlikely they’ll happen but a girl can dream i guess:

more depth on gus and max’s relationship even if they don’t explore the romantic parts of it; i don’t buy the whole “gus staring at a fountain is peak gay representation” bs. ambiguity to an extent is a part of gus’s character but this is getting ridiculous

following on the development of nacho and lalo’s relationship , i wish they’d go really in-depth into it. this could go so many ways; a cat and mouse kind of dynamic, some sort of hesitation from lalo to kill or hurt nacho because he did mean something to him, maybe the two of them needing to work together to try and take out gus, friends to enemies to heavy homoerotic subtext, i don’t know.

all i want is more depth on relationships in general. i talk about this a lot but i feel like besides kim and jimmy no other dynamic is well explored in this show so it all ends up feeling kind of bland and we have to rely on headcanons to give it the depth we should be seeing on-screen.

the truth about jimmy calling the insurance company about chuck and essentially driving him to commit suicide coming out because it seems like both the writers and the fandom forgot and everyone keeps acting like jimmy’s justified in blaming howard for chuck’s death when if there’s anyone to blame it’s jimmy

um let mexican characters speak spanish to each other??? esp when they’re in mexico but even in america, i’m brazilian and when i lived in america i never spoke english to my dad or other portuguese-speaking people. also i’m begging the writers to have people who actually know spanish revise the spanish dialogue instead of just throwing it on google translator.

writing so good that it blows me the fuck away like breaking bad used to do.

unrealistic things that will absolutely not happen but boy i would love it:

gus’s sexuality and past relationship with max CONFIRMED. NO AMBIGUITY. NO MYSTERY. HOMOEROTIC TEXT NOT SUBTEXT.

like for real i wish the writers would go all YAOI BOY X BOY DON’T LIKE DON’T WATCH with gus/max but i know they’re cowards and they’re not gonna do it

more characters of color (especially women of color!!!) being introduced and their characters having good arcs and not being pushed aside as an afterthought (cough andrea in brba cough)
