The Trolley Problem Vs. Systemic Oppression: A Comic.

Image of a distressed-looking person with curly hair in the front window of a trolley, framed by red text that reads "we all know about the trolley problem." The words "trolley problem" appear to be dripping with blood.
Red text that reads "An impossible scenario of life and death: who do you kill? One innocent orphan boy, or a group of wanted criminals?" accompanied by a drawing of split tracks with an orphan boy on the left and a row of criminals on the right. They are all tied with ropes.
Red text that reads "Your elderly grandma? Or a child you don't know?" On the left is a drawing of a curly-haired smiling old woman, and on the right is a black-haired grinning child. Both have a red, dripping hole in the center of their chests.
Red text that reads "we see it when we vote," then a drawing of a bloody hand with a pen above a ballot. The options are "Dr. Evil" and "Cruella D." The red text continues, "when we buy," with a drawing of another bloody hand holding red-stained cash.
A drawing of a woman lying in bed looking up at her hands as they drip with blood, framed by red text that reads "we dream of it in visions of the apocalypse."
A drawing of a person clutching their own hands, once again covered in blood. A red, dripping "X" is on their chest, and their face is splattered with red as well. They look deeply haunted, and they are surrounded by black scribbly shading. "But at some point," the red text reads, "when we are tired of choosing who deserves to be spared, it becomes relevant to ask..."
A red background behind drawings of faceless people in black suits and white ties, only differentiated by head and facial hair. In the foreground is a fist at someone's side, dripping with blood onto doubly carved-in red text that reads, "who is tying people to the tracks?"

the trolley problem vs. systemic oppression: a comic.

crazy how people assume trans guys dont know if we had short naturally coloured hair and a basic style we'd "pass better." "you want tips on how to pass? no more fun piercings, jewelry, anything feminine, dyed hair, nail polish or nice things for you!" thanks but I choose joy and whimsy x

hello again (bill clinton limewire voice) my fellow americans

There are a few states that actually have Shield/Refuge laws designed to help trans people fleeing from trans-unsafe states, which also guarantee trans folks access to healthcare. These states are:

California

Colorado

Illinois

Oregon

Vermont

Washington

Minnesota

New Mexico

Maine

Massachusetts

Rhode Island

Connecticut

Washington D.C.

Additionally, some states have "trans sanctuary" executive orders signifying safety for trans folks seeking healthcare. These states are:

Maryland

New Jersey

New York

Living as a resident in these states means you are protected by state's rights and state government to continue or begin receiving trans healthcare. These laws have been codified in their states so everything has been a-ok'd by their state governments.

Stay alive. You got this. I love you.

Successful trans men

I wish I knew about men like these growing up, I wish I knew that trans men could be successful after a lifetime of never seeingย anyone โ€˜like meโ€™ excelling in life. So here are some trans men - some that you may have heard of, some that you may not - that are successful in a range of careers. Never let being trans hold you back, never think you canโ€™t do something, never think there is not a place for you.

I'm going to *remembers suicide is often not a desire for death itself but rather an attempt to radically change one's life because the current state of being has become unbearable but the person can't think of any way to change it other than death* kill myself

When asked why I got top surgery:

I have an extensive graphic tee collection and boobs really fuck up the design

I wanted to be a more aerodynamic swimmer

The anime style โ€˜boingโ€™ sound effect from my tits kept alerting the guards and it was really cutting into my revenue as a jewel thief

Lost them in the war

Pat down my chest then franticly check my pockets and bag. โ€˜I most have left them at homeโ€™

They would bounce at a speed of 379 mph and the sound was getting noise complaints

Commitment to cosplay

Rehomed them for a small fee, just couldnโ€™t take care of them anymore

Wym I never had tits?????

They turned evil and I had to cut them off like Ash (from the evil dead) had to cut his hand off

They just refused to pay rent so I had to have the city evict them

Sold them for computer parts

The vibe was off with them
