Not gonna lie, when I first saw the title I thought "huh, what a coincidence", and then I saw the author and brother the whiplash that I received I have so many thoughts about your writing!!!!

1) Stan and Ford being cute to eachother absolutely warmed my heart, take all my money

2) Ford having a shotgun under Darlan's crib (which is expected of him lmao, and also how he's protective of his baby and his love AAAAAA)

3) Aster, just-- Aster in general holy shit. Absolute mamas boy (and with reason, the poor guy). His design?? His powers?? His name meaning?? Can completely comprehend the man's hatred and want for vengeance, you go king (but even I felt bad for our Ford lmao. And also, him watching Ford in the hospital???? The attention to detail)

4) Cleopatra, absolute queen, we stan, I'm so curious about her!! Where did she come from?? How did Aster met her???

5) just one word: MAMA (I don't even know who you are - and I desperately want to!!!! - but I love you. Protective of Stan pines????? Me too queen, me too)

6) Also, are Aster's six green eyes a reference to the "Never Human Au" or is it just based on his appearance of Ford (individually, both are amazing details/references)

7) also the reference to A Tale of Two Stans??? You were absolutely COOKING with this one. The wait was definitely worth it!!! I'm so curious about what more do you have about them or if you will write about them, whatever you want to do I will inhale the shit out of it

I'm glad that you got your gift and it got me giggling with excitement when I see the notifications! I understand that you can't comment at AO3 if you don't have a second account, but I don't mind about it.

So let me help you answer some questions:

1) I want some more Stan and Ford fluffy as parents, so at times like this I gotta do things by myself hahaha! 🤣

2) Ford already being an overprotective parent, of course he's gonna have a weapon hidden in every corner of the house that he can quickly get access to during dangerous moments. Dude got literally 5 legal guns and maybe 20 more illegally.

3) Aster is the very first OC child that I've been thinking off for a while before I met both of you and @muchmallows . This man works at a local bookstore/library has a favourite black Stenton cowboy hat when going out to town, which annoys Ford a lot. Due to inbreeding, however, he has a weak heart condition.

As stated in the story, Aster was born sometime after the portal incident and was solely raised by Stan with the help of Abuela with Soos as his adopted sibling. As soon as he graduated high school, he joined the military and became part of the Special Forces during the Afghanistan war for several years until his injury in the right eye put him in honourable discharge.

He is very efficient in any weaponry, but he prefers knives over guns. Less noisier when taking down enemies. So during their custody escape, Aster went on a war crime massacre spree hacking off soldier after soldier giving Stan enough time to get the twins and opened the portal to bring Ford home.

But it was not all rainbows. His parents were constantly fighting and Ford constantly threatening to kick Stan out, until Stan ended up suffering a heart attack and fell into a coma. He became hostile towards Ford after that without any mercy but only act civil just for the sake of the kids.

When Weirdmageddon broke out, he was visiting Stan at the hospital, where he died from a broken heart. It was at the moment he made contact with Mama and with her help, she is able to get past the barrier and ends Weirdmageddon by sending both Ford and Bill into the Dark Forest, since the ritual is considered null when Stan died.

After Weirdmageddon is over, he passes over the Mystery Shack ownership to Soos and leaves Gravity Falls after the funeral and the twins went back home, advising them to never part from one another like what his parents did.

He spends the rest of his life travelling the multiverse as a mercenary, hunting down Fords that hurt their Stans. Consider him as the Deathstroke of this au.

4) Cleopatra the six-eyed Devon Rex is his beloved pet companion that he raised since it was a kitten. He found her while he was at the town getting groceries. According to the Kitten Distribution rule, once a kitten sticks to you, they own you. Plus, she's a useful mascot to the business and the family's darling sweetheart pet (except Ford).

So the AU Ford would really have a Vietnam flashback when he sees Darlan bring home a six-eyed kitten and is very torn about it, but in the end he became the parent that spoils the pet rotten just like Stan did with Waddles.

5) And Mama - the elusive being that Aster made a contract with. Most of her contractors refer to her as Mama, but that's not her real name. If asked, she reveals her middle name is Evangeline and that's it.

Originally from a world that has now been absorbed into the Void, she is one of the many beings that reside in the lightless realm and the ruler of the Dark Forest (for clearer understanding see the Dark Forest theory), a territory of brambles, briar thorns, snow and beasts that evolved itself to survive against each other.

She is know to stalk her targets that she pities and favours due to the target's unfavourable circumstances, no matter the age, befriending them and caring for all of their needs and loving them unconditionally, whispering promises of happiness and love before she whisks them away, mostly resulting in the target's death. She desires not for power, domination; but love and family.

Unlike Bill who needs a portal to enter another dimension, she can travel easily through the shadows, though she requires a partial sacrifice (a drop of blood is enough) to officially cemented her presence physically.

She is rarely found in human history and myths because she is very much likes her privacy, but can be hinted through lullabies and urban legends.

If Bill Cipher is both a god and a demon, therefore she is both a goddess and an angel; his polar opposite. If fire is his element, then water is hers.

The rose mark tattoo on Darlan's neck is the sign of her claim over him, it acts as a conduit for him to utilise her powers but at the same time restrains him with a briar collar to keep him in line from acting irrationally.

6) Aster's six eyes scene is inspired from the many fanarts of Bill possessing Ford. I extensively checked which eye represents Bill during this moment and most artists depict Bill's eye is on the right.

The loss of right eye is also symbolic to Aster, signaling of his sacrifice to sate his revenge against Ford and that he has nothing else to lose when the only person that matters to him is dead.

So if you do a half-and-half image of the possessed Ford and Stan/Aster, Bill represents the right side while Mama represents the left.

7) I always struggled with thinking for the perfect titles to my stories, that title was a last minute because I want to upload it immediately 😅

I really want to see how Aster interacts with the other AUs of Stan and Ford with their kids (no doubt Aster would be nice to them, except Ford, he will have problems with any Fords). Doesn't matter if it's art or fanfic, I'll always deliver!

First of all, holy shit, you did not hold back in the slightest (as you should!!! Traumatize our boy!! Holy shit, being sacrificed alive?? Imagine feeling every second of someone opening you up and going through your organs until they finally rip out your heart, jesus christ. AND MAMA!!! Absolute queen as always I get so excited seeing her, completely understandable reaction, imagine being a somewhat pacific god and someone just does that in your name??

Also, the fact that she revived Stan and stuck around him is actually interest to notice, did she felt like she "owned him one" after what happened? Or maybe it was also because she had a soft spot for the Stans? And the way she even let's Stan have some sort of control on the start of their partnership is so cool if you take his canon backstory and the way he was going on automatic and had to rely on really shitty ways to survive, I can't imagine how wild and different his homeless years had been with her by his side. And Stan carrying her like a doll is a really funny image, her helping him with the shack omg (⁠*⁠´⁠ω⁠｀⁠*⁠) )

And OH MY GOD THE CIRCLE SCENE, IT GOT WORSE IT GOT WORSE. Aaaah Ford why must you be controlled by your ego, conflicting emotions since teenagehood and your (reasonable) paranoia and trauma!! "Why did I even bother falling in love with you" what if I cried in front of you, what if this was my (and Stan's) last straw. Situation was already shit and you managed to turn it worse, would've clapped if I wasn't baffled at it.

The insinuation that Mama was there on their "reunion"?? Damn, woman must've been seething the moment they arrived in Gravity Falls. Does she knows the story of their fallout??? If so Ford really never stood a chance holy shit.

"Stanford Pines, I shall no longer love you", Angel did you just stab me and twist the knife. And her killing them the same way Stan was killed in the beginning??? Absolute cinema - and absolutely terrifying, imagine being eaten alive, not just as a human but think about cipher, someone who thought himself invincible and strong, just to be destroyed by something stronger and incomprehensible even to you. Mama the woman you are ✨✨

STAN'S DESIGN!!! MY SHAYLA!!! Him having a young and healthy body bc of his drifter years and how long he dedicated his entire life to his brother, I can't handle this (⁠╯⁠︵⁠╰⁠,⁠) something like his body being so important, something that was constantly taken advantage and not appreciated, him turning into something that HE wants it to be, that HE can control, with things that he deserved and should've had access since the beginning, I'm gonna be sick. Him still having his surgery scars omg, it's like a grim reminder of what he went through, was Mama not able to erase it or did he ask not to?? Being some king of reminder of everything he endured and how he met his life long friend??

Omg him still giving some kind of closure to his family bc it wasn't their fault at what happened, he didn't want them to feel the burden of carrying guilt for the rest of their lives Stan Pines the man that you are...

Genuinely curious to how he works for Mama, does he do the same thing that Aster does? What are his powers exactly?? AND OMG HIM NOT WANTING TO MEET ASTER, the thought of a child having to suffer with him too!!! The possibility of having a good life and it not being directed to you, I would've killed myself on the spot I get him omg

And Mama's poem is absolutely beautiful and unsettling at the same thing. Which makes sense because even if she is a benevolent being, she is still something straight out of a Lovecraftian book, an angel. She's almost possessive I would say to her people, and she does understands feelings and emotions (which makes her more terrifying holy shit), but considered she's a higher being I feel like she feels them on a more extreme sense. What exactly is her philosophy/objective with this?? She does care of course, but she always punishes those who wronged you, so how exactly can they reach repent?? On the spiritual realm?? Unless she does it exactly for that reason (which would be scary holy shit. AAAAA so sorry for my rambling I'm genuinely so curious about this, this is so well made!!)

I TRANSLATED HER NAME!! By any chance, is it Beamor?? I tried searching the meaning but the only thing it says is "those who plays the trumpet", which makes sense considering she is an angel. And in religious books they always serve as a warning, a call, so it makes sense for her character too! Can't wait to see her full name if you plan to show it :)

Some additional Mama Evangeline lore to share for my friends @iluminated-goat @muchmallows while they're busy with their things, hopefully this post is a motivational support for them too! :)

From the last post, I did share a tidbit of a variant Stan making a deal with Mama. So here is the lore behind it:

For this timeline, during Stan's drifting years, he was drugged and got his own heart cut out and sacrificed by a cultist that wanted to make contract with Mama for selfish gains like riches and fame.

This did not sit well with her, so Mama killed off the cultist instead and revives Stan under a possession blood contract; she has the ability to physically exist in his realm, but the full authority lies upon Stan unless he willfully submits to her.

She takes the form of a broken porcelain ball-jointed doll to help Stan with his money-making schemes in his haunted dolls display collection in the Mystery Shack. She is doll-sized, so he carries her around like a child by the crook of his arm.

For the next 30 years, Stan fixed the portal with Mama's help and canon story goes on as usual; both brothers are constantly angry with each other with no chance of reconciliation, until Weirdmageddon.

Ford and Stan were arguing in front of everyone at the ritual circle, it got to the point where Ford curses having a twin brother like Stan and wondering why did he even bother falling in love with him.

(In truth, we all know that Ford did not really mean it. He outspoken what he really shouldn't have said if he wants to salvage whatever love that they still had; but you know what they say, he done fucked up!)

Stan, finally seeing the side of the man that Ford truly is, the one that Mama constantly complains and disapproves of, breaks. There, with his heart broken beyond repair and mind going mad in despair, he musters all of his rage as he speaks these words and finally succumbs fully to Mama:

"I renounced you... Stanford Pines, I shall love you no more... You are now dead to me!"

Mama, who already hated Ford since their first meeting 30 years ago due to all of the hurt that he has inflicted upon Stan, was more eager to enact her vengeance upon the bastard twin-lover that is Stanford Pines and the annoying parakeet triangle that is Bill Cipher.

In this timeline, Bill Cipher, the Henchmaniacs and Ford Pines are not thrown into the Black Forest. Instead, they're entirely devoured by Mama as offerings.

To reclaim his autonomy, Stan requested to turn back to his prime beautiful youth with a healthier body because he's still angry that all of his time, love and life has been wasted for a useless bastard. His claim mark is directly upon his chest, glowing red on top of his surgery scars.

But curse his bleeding heart that loves both his grand niece and nephew, he also asks Mama to alter everyone's memories, saying that Weirdmageddon never happened and that their Grunkle Stan has given Soos and Abuela custody of the twins before he 'died' at the end of the summer, with his tombstone carved with the words below:

"Here lies Stan Pines, a loving son, brother grandfather and uncle. He died with a betrayed heart from a love that did not deserve him."

He serves Mama unconditionally, but refuses to meet Aster because he doesn't want to ponder the what-ifs for a possibile life that stemmed from a past that did nothing but hurt him and the sight of an innocent bystander's life being ruined by Ford's callous choices.

I also wanna try make an Axolotl poem about Mama, but I can only write this much. You can say this is a hint to a grim truth to all that makes a contract with Mama:

Oh, I almost forgot! I finally made Mama's true first name. But you have to decipher this code:

Ilumi, I'm having a dilemma since yesterday and I need your advice on this! While sketching some artworks, I suddenly have a realisation on Aster & Anne Nieve's relationship! The more I try to bury it down and deny it, the more it claws my soul!

As we both know, Aster is so traumatised by his parent's tragic relationship that he has vowed himself to make sure no other version will suffer the same way again. He never understood why they would risk it all and hurt themselves worse, even when both of them were aware of the risks.

And then he meets Anne Nieve. Now he understands why.

As they get closer, their affection for one another blossoms. The signs of love are obvious, and though Aster may try, his heart cannot ignore it.

Aster and Anne Nieve wanted the love they deserved, but they were aware of the horrible past of their parents that birthed them. They know their love for the other is reciprocated, but they cannot act on it.

And now the history books of the shelves are repeating itself once again...

Holy shit this is becoming like the Time Traveller's Wife plotline here! Should I continue this or change it? Help!!! DX

Btw, to clarify the last ask, being Afterlife Retired means he's literally dead and cannot walk/interact on living soil. To get there, they must have something from that place in order to visit Aster (ex. a small vial of the beach sand)

Hello Mirror! I apologize for my late answer because i- may or may not have gone a bit overboard with my answer, but in my defense this was very interesting to analyze! I'm tagging you in case you don't see it @mirrorworldangel

Hoooh boy where do i even begin with this one. My friend, I never ever considered these two together, so it was definitely a pleasant surprise when this brick hit me square in the face. And honestly? The more I think about these two together, they could actually work! Anne Nieve seeing Aster as her guardian angel, Aster trusting Cleopatra (his literal daughter-figure and longtime companion, mind you) to Anee; it’s obvious that these two possess a really strong bond. Not only that, the both of them share a similar past - which would have strengthened their bond significantly, they both understand each other on a deep level when it comes to that.

“He never understood why they would risk it all and hurt themselves worse… and then he meets Anne Nieve. Now he understands why.” Oh Mirror, as an avid angst lover, please allow me to join this wagon. Man, both of them being terrified of going through what their parents went through (a justifiable gear, Aster literally lost his dimension because of it). For some reason I feel like it’s Aster that would try to push down his feelings more. This man has seen and lived some things, not only does he have mental scars, he also has physical scars. One of the main factors of his character is how much he yearns and fights for his family. I wouldn’t exactly say that he sees Anne Nieve as a form of redemption or a “way to fix his problems” (hell no, he respects her a lot to even go into that territory), I'd say he’s… apprehensive, a bit scared too.

Anne Nieve is a star (not only in ballet and celebrity world, but in his eyes too), she’s social and educated, she has a life and dreams, she has so much going on for her, she deserves better and everything - which just makes him not want to act on his feelings even more. Aster is old beyond his years, what does he have to offer to her? Even entertaining the idea only serves to make him feel worse. Anne Nieve is his little sister, someone he trusts and adores, so many things could go wrong and he doesn’t want to lose that bond. The possibility of tying Anne Nieve down or even passing down his cardiac problems to children is terrifying, even if he’s dead (for some reason. I can't help but remember Blade Runner 2049 at that). For him, those feelings were merely formed because of their shared trauma.

Ough, forgive me if I'm wrong, but Anne Nieve gives me the vibes to mull over her feelings. Not loud, but like internally (and because who would take her seriously? Her? Having romantic feelings for her half-brother? Anyone would be extremely worried about that). I feel like she’ll also repress but be more… I wouldn't say completely welcoming to them, but she’s more open to what she feels compared to Aster. Unlike Aster, I would argue that she does indulge in her feelings/fantasies, because that’s all they are, fantasies. Anne Nieve is observant, she’s assertive, and Aster knows that. So man, both of them hiding their feelings would be a hell of a conflict.

Aster technically saved her life, if it weren’t for him, she’ll probably be dead (which is, unnerving to think about to be honest, imagine how different their paths and lives would’ve been if they didn’t meet each other). That definitely would mess her up and how she feels about her feelings? Are they actually genuine or something formed out of the debt that she feels she owns to Aster? So many questions and little answers from both sides.

For some reason, she reminds me of a dove and a swan. Not just because of her dancing abilities and her calm personality, but also because most of the time, it’s the woman that chooses her partners. Not only that, physical touches actually strengthen their relationships, and they’re known for mating/staying together for life. So between the two of them, she wouldn’t outright tell Aster, but hell when it comes to them showing the barest form of vulnerability to this possible romance, it’s her (my girl kicked him out of her apartment in the middle of a snowstorm, she knows what she wants, but she wouldn’t corner him because of that).

Needless to say, the pining, yearning and a bit of miscommunication are going HARD on this one. My friend, I can't exactly or 100% say whether you should change it or continue as I don't exactly know much about the story that you’re writing…

HOWEVER, this is one hell of something interesting to explore, be it in a one shot, an AU or analysis of their relationship and individual selves, I would tell you to continue it (because- i’m curious (⁠〃ﾟ-ﾟ⁠〃⁠) and i want to see both of them suffering before getting to their happy ending - IF THEY EVEN HAVE ONE, THAT IS). God, it would take both of them so long to even allow themselves to feel they deserve this type of happiness with each other. Man this was such a fun question to wonder about, thank you for sharing it! Definitely curious with whatever you have planned for these two *i think with malicious intent*

NOW TO THE LORE BABY! I wanted to explore more of Stan's relationships here, and how he ended up getting them (since he's living in Gravity Falls

Begrudgingly allies to queer platonic Fiddlestan my beloved. Ford and Fiddleford's fallout doesn't start outright with the portal, rather than Fidd's apprehension about it and Ford's "Muse". Needless to say, they have some arguments and discussions about it, some harsher than normal. At some point, Fidds just goes away from the Shack and goes to Stan to distract himself/calm down; mostly bc Stan's the closest and they're on deeper speaking terms. Not friends, but not strangers either; Fiddleford just need someone relatively normal now.

Stan's awkward as hell about it, he doesn't know much about Fiddleford, being on arms length with the man. Having someone breaking down in front of you and in your home while you're trying to sleep with someone kicking your bladder is... Hard. But listen, he's been on the far end of the stick too many times, and he knows that being alone with your thoughts is a dangerous thing - much less in that state. So, hesitantly, he lets him stay for the night, which turns into a week, which turns into when he's actually stable to leave-

So slowly, they form this camaraderie, slowly getting to know each other (mostly on the left foot bc Stan's still too hesitant to open up/casually meet people and Fiddleford is just too... nice).

Needless to say, Stan is not having that shit. He may or not be projecting but he is not letting this fact just fly away to the sun and evaporate like nothing, he has Fidds almost hound his family to come to Gravity Falls or to at least make sure to visit them (not just calls). Fuck him, Stan will take the risk of having his throat slit while they stay in his house just so they can be together (Ford is definitely NOT clawing at walls with jealousy and envy that Fiddleford got closer to Stan first)

And also because I'm a firm believer and lover of Stan having girl/female friendships, no I will not elaborate. And because I love Emma-May and Tate (I definitely need to draw them more), idk why but I feel like they would be a cool team these two (and because they have fluffy hair, but that's another story). Stan becoming an honorary uncle to Tate and taking care of him whenever his parents have to work or rest (plus, he's kinda preparing for his little one too, and Little Tate is just too cute for him to handle).

So while he has a somewhat established relationship with the McGucket's (and then slowly adopting him in their circle), Ford and Stan are still... tolerable, rough on the corners. They talk, but it's not the same. Both of the want to reconnect, they feel that want to be close again, even if it's not the same as before. The thing is that both of them are too stubborn/afraid to do so, plus, they're both leading their lives in different ways, how would that work? Plus, they don't even know each other anymore after their separation, how much did they change after there 10 years?

And Bill isn't helping the case, at all. Stan doesn't even know the guy, but the dude just decided that he wants him dead. Stan doesn't trust him. For as much as he respects and loves his brother, nothing will ever make him want to be in the same room as that thing. It makes too much promises and says just the right things to make you fall right on their hands, it makes him uneasy and bring back memories he'd rather not discuss.

A bit of info: the astronaut comes from the phrase "your mother's an astronaut", which means she was a drug addict while pregnant and her child came out with birth defects. Yeah, those two fucking hate each other - the problem is that Stan will bite back and not take his shit (he can insult him all he wants but the moment he even talks about his baby the restraint is out the window). As much as he wants to hit him, he doesn't want to injure his brother (as hard as that is) and Cipher doesn't harm him physically because Ford would lose some trust in him and that would attract too much attention, so verbal jabs it is.

The thing is that after some time, Stan just see Bill as this... Bratty kid. Throwing a tantrum anytime things don't go his way, and that's simultaneously terrifying and hilarious considering he's a god-knows-how-old demon with the power to bend their reality. Sometimes he can't help but just, lock him in place or speak to him in this tired voice because "dude I just want to raise my kid and I'm trying to sleep, you're making noise, you're not being scary you're just being an asshole. And quit hurting yourself I'm the one that's doing your bandages and that's not even your body your asymmetrical bastard".

So while Ford doesn't wake up to Bill's true intentions, someone has to keep the reins in the Shack and occasionally, MYSTERIOUSLY, slow down the construction of the portal. He has Bill fuming while angrily flipping medical book pages to see what could cause a miscarriage or birth defects (it doesn't work and that makes him want to scream).

Also I want to explore more of Stan's psychologic with his pregnancy and the horrors of getting accostumated to it (he's happy but listen his dick changed to a vagina, his entire body is changing, that's kinda wild to think about) but it'll definitely take some time before I start bc I have upcoming tests (⁠〒⁠﹏⁠〒⁠) but once again, thank you all for your attention and reading this far :D!!

First of all, thank you so much for the appreciation of his older design :) as you said, this man is "haggard". Man has a mission and he won't stop until he completes it (which would be like, forever, considering this is the multiverse) but god he's so tired, physically and emotionally. He doesn't feel bad about killing his "father" or other shitty Fords over and over again if it means his mother and his other selves would be safe. But... to continuously commit murder, processing your grief in a... morbid way, even if for a good cause but losing his humanity in the process, and killing a man that you're a carbon copy to?? The suicidal ideations and "if I ignore it it won't be a problem" are going wild in this one. Because he didn't have the time to process this trauma, feelings or even to rest. Jfc in his and Ford's possession drawing the man looked like he was completely numb, just going on automatic (wouldn't surprise me if he hadn't even actually dealt with his mother's death and his feelings towards it or anything that came after it). I got completely inspire by your answer of the Axolotl themselves "gifting" him his happy ending. So I wanted to do a spin of how I thought it would go! Aster finally having a chance to rest and to stay with his mother in the process.

Aster being much more taller than Ford and Stan (even as an old man) was too funny to pass. Imagine seeing your boy who fit at the crook of your arm just grow into a mountain?? Even in the height difference, Aster even slightly bends down when it comes to Stan, showing the respect and admiration he has for him. For the Fords? He uses that to threatening and strength advantage, he too has traveled the multiverse and isn't afraid of Ford in the slightest (man's probably seen everything at this point). That's such a horror point on his character.

And I'm so glad you noticed the contrast of colours between them! Stan being more brighter to simbolize his age and mindset before his drifter days and Aster being duller and darker in comparison to show what he went through. Aaaaa Stan literally turning into the sun when he remembered his boy because of the pure happiness he felt! I can't imagine how afraid he was for Aster for "leaving him alone", he didn't even had a chance to talk with him for the last time. Even if Aster looks so tired and old and nothing like the last time when they saw eachother, that's his son, his baby (which must've hurt too when he found out his boy went through almost the same things he did when Stan was homeless while on the multiverse). Aster finally called by his actual name after decades and reunited with his mother. They make me sick /j

I absolutely adore Forneus!! Her reunion with both of her kits was so cute and satisfying and it reminded me so much of them! Both of them feeling so empty before reuniting, Stan because he felt as if something was missing, Aster slowly forgetting his actual mother. Both of their brightness returning and infecting each other (I'm so glad you noticed his skin getting more colorful!!) and even if they decide to change their paths they can do it knowing that the other is there and that they're safe. But damn I don't even want to see how Aster's going to deal with his trauma, imagine being on "fight and survive mode, eat or be eaten mindset" for god knows how many years and one day you just- don't have to worry about it anymore. It's jarring and weird. I NEED TO WRITE ABOUT HIM

And on a complete side note!! Please listen to "Here Before" by Vashti Bunyan, it's literally their song I'm not even joking.

Also I completely apologize if Aster's colour pallette is wrong (⁠´⁠;⁠︵⁠;⁠`⁠) (for some reason I wanted to see him in blue???) I drew him older than he's supposed to be (and also looking like an exact copy like Ford, this dude was made to suffer) to show how long he's been travelling and also the hardships he endured (hence the duller colours). And while drawing this I had- so many thoughts (and I listened to Adrienne Lenker doing this and it was not a good idea it was not a good idea-)

The axolotl allowing Stan to rest by letting him "relive" in the moment where he was most happiest. The problem is that, both Aster and Stan have both "forgotten" eachother (Aster by seeing so many Stans and slowly forgetting his mother's characteristics after Stan died; Stan because of the amnesia). So when they both see eachother they're more like "you look familiar" and "doubting the axolotl for a moment" until they both recognise eachother (Aster finally being called by his first name by his own Stan, by his own mother. Both finally reunited). Ngl I got inspired by Moomin Mama and Forneus (cotl) for Stan's dialogue.

And Aster finally being allowed to rest and to be with his mother (I was actually gonna draw a panel of him being reverted back to a kid, a gift from the Axolotl so he and his mother could have more moments!) Him introducing Cleo and Mama (whom I DEFINITELY want to see and have to explore more) to his mother and Shanklin, Stan being held back from almost marching down to the Black Forest to beat the shit out of Cipher and Ford, Darlan dealing with the fact that he doesn't have to be on "fight or flight" mode anymore, Stan absolutely showering his behemoth of a son with kisses and hugs and getting to know more of him and his friends. Just - them ಥ⁠‿⁠ಥ

I tried to show more of Aster's quiet but still emotional side (but only when he allows himself to be), so he's really feeling it when he finally recognises his mom. The guy is a highly trained assassin.

Which also leds me to this point: some of the Stan's that interacted with Aster saw him as quiet, completely different, but still their baby (even with the scars and so so tired look that seems to be engraved in his face, which just made them more worried for their own kids bc what happened??).

And then there's the Ford's.

You know that Mandela catalogue audio?? "If you see someone that looks identical to you, run away and hide??" It's literally their relationship. Imagine you're a (shitty) Ford, and when you look to the corner of your lab, there's this... Figure. Just standing there, looking back at you. It's you, but... It's not you. It's older, covered in scars, bigger and wider than you. And it's staring back at you without a single ounce of emotion. The only thing that you can assimilate closer to it is pure apathy. You don't know who or what it is, but you can feel that it doesn't like you, and it wants you dead.

guess who found extremely old and rough doodles of a crack AU that was inspired by one episode from Primal but I scrapped it, I liked how these came out and I wanted to show just so you guys don't have nothing while I finish some drawings!!

Also warning this is extremely self indulgent I just wanted to draw pregnant Stan and living his best life so be warned

Stan while wandering through the streets of South American comes across a wishing well of some sorts (which was inspired by a fic that I don't remember the name ('': ), drunk and with nothing to lose, he throws a coin for the "fun" of it some sort. It was going to have some body horror considering that... A dick changing to a vagina and make room for a womb would definitely hurt.

Realising in the worst way possible that the fountain did work (a little too well), he decides to get his head out of his ass and try to at least get his life on track the best he can just so he wouldn't ruin the kid's life (he doesn't have a self preserving bone in his body but now that he's not "alone" anymore he had to force himself to grow some healthy habits - and like hell he's going to damage his kids just because of his stubbornness and past). It occured the same way in the show, with him crashing the car, faking his death; but not before he goes to somewhere far away, his few option chosen being Oregon, in a small secluded town (unknowingly for him, where Ford lives)

It took him a while to get accustomed to, well, everything. But slowly became routine, having to get clean and get his weight back, acquiring a job and a small apartment (enough for him and his kiddo), medic and therapists visits (which he almost gnawed his skin off at the thought of vulnerability, but he wanted to do his kid right, so the whole package it was). It was hard at first, but life's going well for him, he's in a better shape than he was in years at the few months of his pregnancy, he has a nice (and stable) salary and he has a home to go back to.

And then he meets Ford.

Man's almost having a heart attack right there, his brother who he hasn't seen in 10 years since he was kicked out is standing right in front of the cashier, staring at him with those almost dead eyes if it weren't for the amount of emotions there. He only realizes what he's looking at when he unconsciously shields his stomach, swollen with life (having gotten so used to it he didn't even try to hide it anymore). Ford on the other hand is livid, his twin - the one who ruined his life - was living in the same place as him for some forsaken reason. Not only that, he's pregnant, which shouldn't even be possible.

Their relationship is shit basically. They're still tense with each other, barely talking unless necessary. Stan just wants to go on with his life, Ford as much as he's seething wants to know everything and anything about his brother (even though he doesn't admit that). Fiddleford is suffering, until he convinces his friend to invite Stan to their house (yknow to at least talk, an actual conversation instead of borderline stalking on his job).

Get a load of this jealous and emotionally constipated loser lmao (I don't blame him I would crash out too if I found out I fumbled Stan). Bill is there too bc that fucker can and will ruin lives for the entertainment of it (but he stopped going to Stan's mindscape bc he beat the shit out of him there). I didn't really have much planned aside from this, and I didnt know where to go wit this. Might make some doodles based on this just for fun

An idea has been given to me while I was scrolling TikTok and I must share this with you! Imagine the adult triplets Clarence, McClinton & Eliott stumbled to another dimension and already pissed off some multi-dimensional gangster over some stupid reason. Aster found out and immediately rescued his half-siblings during a battle. This is what happens after he kicked the gangster's asses:

Aster: You all are coming with me.

Clarence: Like hell you are! We're not going anywhere! We'll stop you!

McClinton: Take us to jail! I fucking dare you!

Eliott: I'll take all of you pigs out!

Aster: I am not the police, and I'm not taking you to jail. I am taking you three to your mother.

(The triplets freeze and look at him in shock.)

Clarence: Take us to jail! Take us to jail please!

McClinton: Just ring up the police! Honest!

Eliott: They came out of nowhere and attacked us! I swear, we have never met these beings before!

Aster: Yeah, yeah. Relax...(already unclipping a sleeping gas grenade)

(At times like this, Aster wonders how he is related to them, much to the other of Mama's contracted souls)

And I love seeing Aster just protecting his siblings from any multiverse it's just so cool to see that, even if they're not really together, he still considers them family. Also this asks is radiating big brother Aster vibes, the kind you hide behind when you need help but also messes with you. I wonder if they noticed their similarities, like, this dude that looks exactly like your dad, but it's not your dad, but also knows your mom??? I wonder how would they feel about him after they connected the dots

Also I don't have a single doubt Aster said that because he knows what it's like to be behind his mother's wrath. I just know it. Knowing the triplets they'll probably send one as sacrifice to take the guilt.

This ask gave me a quick doodle inspiration I loved it (and the fact the immediate thing these 3 do is piss off a gangster boss is appalling, not a single bone of self preservation lmao)

Hello Anon! I'm so sorry for my late reply I just saw them now but AAAARGH thank you so much‼️So glad I caught his bratty nature right, the only reason this kid hasn't been elbowed in the face yet is bc of Stan.
