TBB S2E12 SPOILERS
âWhat are you doing just standing around?â
Oooooo, buddy im gonna
Let him have his memorial
YALL THIS IS TOO GOOD
âWere you the one who barricaded the alley?â Rick asked once Matten Streigler showed up.
âSomebody did, I guess when the city got overrun.â Glenn replied.
âWhoever did it was thinking, not many freaks would get through,â Matten cut in.
âBack at the tank, whyâd you stick your necks out for me?â Rick asked.
âMatt just thought we should because we could.â Glenn said, âMe? Call it foolish naĂŻve hope? Just hoping one day, someone will do the same for me. Guess weâre even bigger dumbasses than you.â
After Glenn, Matten merely bypassed the ladder altogether and jumped straight down, âSHIT MAN! WATCH IT!â Glenn snapped.
âWeâre back!â Glenn spoke into his walkie talkie, âGot another guest, plus four geeks in the alley!â
The trio stopped at the end of the stairwell as three walkers took notice of them. Suddenly, a door swung open and two men wearing riot gear brandishing baseball bats ran out and beat two of the walkers while a third who wore white full body armor with fresh teal accents shot at the third walker with a gun model Rick did not recognize.
As soon as the walkers were down, everyone ran across the alleyway into the building.
Rick barely had enough time to react when a blonde woman grabbed him and shove him into a crate.
âSon of a bitch!â Andrea growled as she took her gun out and aimed it at Rick, âIâm gonna kill you.â She hissed.
Rick merely put his hands up to show he didnât want any trouble.
âHey, Andrea, chill gal.â Matten tried. âYeah, ease up.â Jacqui threw in.
âEase up?â Andrea gaped, âyouâre kidding me, weâre dead because of this stupid asshole.â
Then the man in full body armor approached Andrea as he removed his helmet, âPut. The gun. DOWN.â
âOr pull the trigger?â Matten shrugged.
Andrea soon relented, âweâre dead, all of us. Because of you.â She spoke.
âI donât understand.â Rick said and Morales grabbed his arm.
âLook we came into the city to scavenge supplies.â He said, âyou know what the key to scavenging is? Surviving. You know what the key to surviving is? Sneaking in and out. TIPTOEING.â
âYeah, not shooting up the streets like some trigger-happy commando going berserk on a battalion of clankers.â Matten cut in, also pissed, âEvery freak for miles around heard you poppin off shots.â
âYou just rang the dinner bellâ Andrea spoke
âGot the picture now?â Morales asked.
Before all of them was the shop windows, all full of walkers trying to get in. One even picked up a rock and was smashing it against the glass.
The group retreated further into the building as the glass began to break.
Well. Lord help us now. Rick thought.
âŁ<<<Interlude>>> âŁ
âItâs late they shouldâve been back by now.â Amy snapped.
âThey shouldâve been back two days ago.â Crosshair growled.
âWorrying wonât make it better.â Dale spoke and both Crosshair and Amy huffed.
Crosshair then went to sit next to Lovi, like a few seats away from her still.
âWhat are you doing?â Lovi snapped.
Crosshair didnât even look at her, âYou know what Iâm doing.â He spoke.
âYeah, so stop.â Lovi hissed as she glared at him.
âI wonâtâ Crosshair said as he shook his head. Lovi looked at him, anger visible on her face, âI wonât.â he repeated, looking Lovi in the eye this time. Lovi stood up and left, leaving Crosshair alone on the log.
The buzz of static caught Shaneâs attention as well as everyone elseâs. Dale climbed up to the top of the RV and reached for the receiver.
Whatever words were exchanged were no longer what concerned Crosshair, it was the strange knot in his stomach telling him something wasnât right.
Shane and Amy arguing caught Crosshairâs attention. Apparently Shane was being an ass again and Amy was having none of it. He wanted to leave her sister there. Leaving brothers behind was wrong, Crosshair knew that personally so he felt compelled to help the poor girl.
âSheâs trapped sheâs gone.â Shane said to Amy, âso we just have to deal with that. Thereâs nothing we can do.â
Crosshair was on his feet in an instant, walking towards Shane and Amy, well aware of the eyes on the back of his head.
âSheâs her sister, you son of a bitch.â Crosshair growled at Shane.
Shane and Amy looked at Crosshair, the former in anger at his defiance, the latter somewhat thankful to him for agreeing with her.
ââs there something ya wanna say ta me man?â Shane taunted the sniper.
âYou start down that path of not even tryingâ Crosshair began, âyou wouldnât even bat an eye to someone begging for help? Youâll start leaving people for dead, in your group, and out of it.â
With that Crosshair walked past the former cop and ushered Amy towards the forest.
âThanks,â Amy whispered to Crosshair.
âdonât mention it and look out, I think Loriâs gonna scoop you up soon.â Crosshair joked as he nudged Amyâs arm and sure enoughâŚ
âAmy!â Loriâs voice came from behind them.
âOh my godâŚâ Amy ran her hands down her face.
âGood luck.â Crosshair called softly as he branched away.
âCongratulations, youâre officially an asshole too.â Amy quipped and Crosshair laughed, âtoo late, I already wasâ the sniper threw back
He could already hear the two women arguing as he walked away towards Loviâs car. Maybe he could do something and bring everyone homeâŚ
âŁ<<<Interlude>>> âŁ
âListen I know it sounds crazy, but I need you to do this.â Crosshair whispered to Amy in the back of the RV.
âYouâre gonna get yourself killed.â Dale pressed while Amy put a hand to her head, âCross, heâs right, this is too dangerous.â Amy spoke.
âItâll only be my life on the line.â Crosshair assured.
âThatâs hardly reassuring, son.â Dale looked at him.
âCross, please, this is stupid.â Amy pleaded.
âYou were the one who wanted to get your sister.â Crosshair snapped.
âyes. My sister. Why are you going?â Amy asked, âaside from Dale, everyone here was cruel to you. Even that lady you came here with. Why are you risking your life for them?â
âBecause I know what itâs like to be left behind.â Crosshair said, looking at the map strewn on the table, âThatâs not something anyone should go throughâŚâ
Silence fell across the trio until Amy leaned over and hugged Crosshair.
Immediately the cloneâs eyes went wide. How does one handle this again?? Looking up at Dale with pleading eyes that mustâve looked hilarious on him because the elderly man chuckled pretty hard.
Crosshair huffed and tried hugging Amy back, although he was unsure of where to put his hands. He settled for resting them around her shoulders.
âThank you.â Amy said as she pulled away, âToo bad youâre not in charge and Shane is. You seem to know what youâre doing better.â
Crosshair chuckled, âIâll keep that in mind for the election.â
The trio chuckled again when suddenly, a distant siren reached their ears.
The sounds of shuffling on the RV roof told them that the current lookout had heard it too.
The trio rushed out of the RV, Dale and Crosshair both running for the ladder as the siren drew closer.
âTalk to me Dale!â Shane called out.
âCanât tell yet.â The elderly man replied.
âIs it them? Are they back?!â Amy asked.
âIâll be damnedâŚâ Dale grumbled, âWhat is it?â Crosshair asked, âStolen car Iâll bet.â Dale replied just loud enough so everyone could hear.
A sleek red car pulled into the camp, itâs alarm screaming bloody murder. Crosshair trained his rifle on it just in case. When he saw Glenn in the driverâs seat he then trained his aim on the passenger seat. Wait⌠holy damn. Thatâs a reg.
Said reg stepped out of the car. He had hair the length of Hunterâs with blonde frosted tips set in small braids tied back in a ponytail.
âHoly crap, turn that damn thing off!â Dale shouted
âI donât know how!!â Glenn shouted back.
Almost immediately the car alarm was mingled with several people yelling as Glenn popped the hood of the car and told Amy her sister was fine and Shane turned off the car alarm.
Once the alarm was off everyone turned to the newcomer.
âWho the hell are you?â Shane asked
âWho the hell are you??â the reg parroted reaching behind his back.
âHEY, HEY! HANDS IN THE AIR!â Shane shouted.
âThatâs Matten Streigler, we ran into him two days agoâŚâ Glenn introduced, âMatt can you PLEASE calm down?â
The reg chuckled and shook his head, âNot when this asshole thinks he can boss me round.â The reg whipped out a dc-17 and aimed it right at Shane.
âDROP THE BLASTER, REG!â Crosshair snapped and everyone looked at him.
âOh,â Matten said as he looked at Crosshair, âYou one of those defective clones arenât ya??â
âIâm defective enough to kill you, scug, drop the karking blaster!â Crosshair growled
âExcuse me, do you two know each other?â Lori asked as Matten kept his blaster trained on Shane.
âNot personally Maâamâ Matten leered
âKriffin reg,â Crosshair growled as he switched his blaster to stun.
âWhatâs that defect?â Matten spat at Crosshair when suddenly, a firewood wielding Amy came up and brought a log down on the back of Mattenâs head, dropping the reg like a sack of potatoes.
The camp stood dumbstruck, staring at Amy who shrugged before growling at an unconscious Matten Streigler, âHis name is Crosshair, asshole.â
Crosshair shared a look with Dale before smirking and jumping down from the RV.
Amy immediately went to turn her crossfire back on Glenn, âAndreaâs okay? Why isnât she with you?â Amy spoke.
âItâs okay,â Glenn announced âeveryoneâs okay, well⌠Merle not so much.â
Crosshair snapped up at that.
Goddammit.
âYou crazy driving this wailinâ bastard aroundâ Shane scolded, âYou trying to draw every walker for miles?!â
âI think weâre okayâ Dale said
âYou call beinâ stupid okay?â Shane snapped
âWell the alarm was echoing all over these hills, hard to pin point the source.â Dale corrected.
Shane stood up and glared at the man, âIâm not arguing, Iâm just saying.â Dale said to the cop before looking to Glenn, âIt wouldnât hurt you to think things through more carefully next time would it?â
âSorry,â Glenn apologized. âI got a cool carâŚâ
Shane was in the process of tying up Matten when a large truck soon came up.
His enhanced eyesight enabled Crosshair to recognize Morales in the passenger seat while a man he didnât recognize sat in the driverâs seat, but what stopped him mid-breath, was the man, the REG between the passengerâs and driverâs seats.
No wayâŚ
HeâsâŚ
AliveâŚ
Andrea was the first to exit the truck. She ran straight to her sister, who ran to her and pulled Amy into a hug. The reunion was hearty, bringing a smile to even Crosshairâs face. Jacqui showed up next followed by T-Dog. Then came Morales, whose children ran right into his arms.
Crosshair could hear Morales talking about how theyâd escaped being trapped. Then someone who appeared to be some law enforcement officer stepped out of the truck.
Crosshair noticed how Shane and the new guy seemed to freeze when they saw each other.
âDAD!â
Crosshair turned to see Carl and Lori running towards the man and then he understood. This was Carlâs father and Loriâs husband. This- oh. Shaneâs in for it now.
Then⌠the white clone armor with teal accents. It looked like the armor was stolen from a purge trooper and was given a new paint job. The teal paint barely masked the faded and chipped magenta patterns.
The trooperâs helmet moved with his head, panning the camp.
Crosshair was sure Shane was watching the man, as well as analyzing Crosshairâs reaction to him where his reaction to Matten was hostile, his reaction to this trooper was docile.
The trooperâs scanning stopped when his sights landed on Crosshair. Crosshair tensed when the trooper advanced on him suddenly.
âHey, hey, hey-â Shane tried to intervene when he realized the way the trooper was advancing was nowhere near a happy reunion but the trooper just shoved him away.
Crosshair braced himself for an attack as he began to step backwards, âHowzer wait, I can explain-â Crosshair didnât get to finish.
Captain Howzer hauled off and socked Crosshair across the jaw, making the latter stumble and fall.
Crosshair swore he heard Lori or Amy scream at Howzer, but when he looked up, he saw Lovi.
âIf you touch him one more fucking time I will kill youâ she growled.
Howzer ripped his helmet off and to Crosshairâs horror, his right eye was burned blind. Itâs almost looked like Wreckerâs scar. âDo you even realize who youâre defending?!â He shouted to the camp.
âYes, we realize who weâre defending and you just hauled off and punched one of our own so you watch it.â Dale snapped as he stood next to Lovi who glared at Howzer like some post-apocalyptic warrior goddess in Crosshairâs eyes.
âDo you really?â Howzer challenged
âDo we realize that weâre defending a man whoâd imprisoned many people? Yes we do.â Dale challenged back âThat he tried to kill his own family? Yes we do. Do we have reason to believe him?-â âNo we donâtâ Shane cut in, âYES. WE. DO.â Dale ignored the copâs butt in, âHeâs one of us âHowzerâ, you watch it or weâll drop you like your friend.â
âMattenâs not my friend.â Howzer spat, âand neither is he.â He spoke, gesturing to Crosshair. Crosshair looked away as Howzer turned and left for the tree line.
âyou alright?â
Crosshair looked up to see the new guy holding out a hand to him.
âuhm⌠yeahâŚâ Crosshair said as he took his hand.
The man then helped him up, âRickâ the said simply. âCrosshair.â Crosshair replied. âI know that wasnât you faultâ Rick said, âhe was pretty tense and hostile when I first met himâ
âPretty tense when we first met him two days ago.â T-Dog cut in.
âIt is my fault.â Crosshair said.
âSorry?â Rick asked with a raised brow.
âHe had him arrested, he told usâ Jim said.
âI wasnât thinking straight then.â Crosshair spoke. âI thought I was right, but⌠I wasnât. I hadnât been right for a long time.â
âWe all have our ups and downs.â Rick said, âgive him some time, maybe heâll come aroundâ
Crosshair huffed. If only it were that easy.

Going to take an hour and a half nap while I wait for the episode, hopefully the alarm wakes me up because I am so excited yet so exhausted. Whatever this illness is it's kicking my butt.
I mean not really a spoiler, but after that Episode, I am going to throw up. I now hate everyone and everything.

Happy (kinda late) Womens day! The one day of the year I take the time (1.5 hours) to take care of my hair, so my curls will be out tomorrow. My boyfriend loves it and thinks I should let my curls shine more often (begging me to). @tbbs-best-hair you're a soldier with magnificent curls do you have any tips to make the curl care faster?
They pulled out the stops with this image, and it's not good.
We are shown Omega sitting in wide-eyed innocence in her little room on the ship. She is unarmed, with a doll on her lap and a ball nearby, propped up on the cushioning Wrecker installed for her comfort. This is her safe and happy life on the Marauder, and it is very likely the opposite of what the writers have planned for her.
If you think those dark circles under Hunter's eyes are bad now, just imagine how he will look once the Empire has Omega.
I have a guess for the last two episodes of the season. I think taking Omega will be the last straw in The Bad Batch's relative passivity toward engaging the Empire, and EVERYONE will be part of the mission to get her back. Getting to "The Summit" of Mount Tantiss to rescue her (and possibly Nala Se) might just be the "Plan 99" we are all wondering about.
As someone who has many family members that are veterans, and a sister that is going into the Army. that is definitely why I love clones more then any other Jedi or character in Star Wars. The troops will always have my deepest respect. A lot of the people yell about how military personnel are awful because of what they do, but most troops don't do a lot of those things because they want to, but because they are told to do it. Like Crosshair says "Good soldiers follow order." Deep respect for them and @superiorsniper for using their platform to talk about this. Thank you.
Some days I log on and write my silly little jokes and snarky comebacks as a fictional soldier, and it's all fun and light. Other days I watch Hacksaw Ridge or receive my brother's first selfie in his dress whites, and the realization crashes down on me again that all of these stories are based on real people and events, many of them as or more devastating than the stories they've inspired. I do not share this to shame anyone who simply enjoys fandom, but instead just to suggest that it would be a missed opportunity to develop empathy for fictional characters and never connect that empathy to anyone in real life. Just like in this pretend universe, we're still sending people to fight wars they didn't start, egotistical power-hungry men are still starting them, and the first casualties are always the innocent.
