The fact they didn't make him a napper makes me sad. ALSO I need every single one of those deleted scenes to be canon
Deleted Scenes that fans should see before S2: (from the mun)
TCW: multiple - most notable plot detail, in my opinion, is that the Skako mission WAS a carefully laid trap they walked right into. It gives Crosshair's cynicism some validity.
TBB 1.15: Echo leads the team through Kamino. Nice to see his leadership abilities showcased.
And finally, some non canonical but plausible and fun storyboarding.
Warnings: Angst/Tension/Fluff

As you might expect, the reunion is a bit tense, for a variety of reasons. You haven't seen the boys for a long time, and Maul is not too enthusiastic about your visitors.

Together with Maul, you watched as the Batch left the Marauder over the ramp and came your way. You couldn't quite believe it yet, although you saw the guys coming your way. You could tell by their posture that they were tense, but not only that. You put out your feelers in the Force and clearly felt that the boys were ready for a fight, that there was worry, determination and a small trace of fear mixed in their energies.
"Your friends are tense," Maul said as the boys drew their weapons.
You frowned and said, "Maybe they think you're a danger to them or me?"
Maul laughed softly, a sound that slithered down your spine, hot and cold.
"My dear, I think your friends know very well who I am, that's why they are so tense".
You looked at him in surprise, but your attention turned back to the boys when you heard Hunter say your name.
They were only a few feet away, still tense. Maul, on the other hand, stood there as if he wasn't worried at all, his hands clasped behind his back. You saw Tech's gaze fall on your lightsaber, which by now you had reattached to your belt. He adjusted his goggles with a thoughtfully furrowed brow.
Finally, you heard him say to Hunter, "The situation doesn't seem hostile to me, I don't think she's here against her will."
"She's not," Maul said quietly.
Echo said somberly, "Appearances can be deceiving."
Maul rolled his eyes and said to you, "I'll leave you alone for a moment, I'm sure you have things to discuss"
As he turned and walked away, the boys looked after him indecisively, only slowly, one by one, they put their weapons away.
"It's good to see you guys," you said softly.
Wrecker pushed the others aside, came up to you, lifted you off your feet and hugged you stormily.
"We missed you, ad'ika!" he rumbled with a laugh.
You couldn't help it, you had to laugh too and returned the hug.
Echo hugged you too, albeit after a brief, shy hesitation, Tech nodded at you with a warm smile and Crosshair gave you a small smirk. Hunter just stood there uncertainly, looking at you.
He said quietly, "We were quite shocked when Tech told us he saw you leave the planet with Maul, we thought you might be his prisoner."
"I'm not, I left with him willingly," you said quietly.
Echo asked indignantly, "Just like that? Without telling us"
With a soft sigh you said, "Hunter has said very clearly that I am no longer welcome with Clone Force 99, that I am not to follow you and to stay away from you"
The boys all looked critically at Hunter, who lowered his head under his brothers' stares.
"I was pissed, rightfully so mind you" he finally said, "I said in anger what I didn't really want to"
You shrugged and said, "I'm not angry about that".
He blinked then looked at his brothers and said, "Give us a moment"
Crosshair growled teasingly, "So we're not going to spank her for leaving?"
"Shut up" Echo growled, pulling him along with him.
When the boys were finally out of earshot, Hunter looked directly at you.
"So you're not mad?"
"No. I was hurt and disappointed. But I've had a lot of time to think, and I certainly understand why you reacted the way you did, you had every right to. I had done something very stupid, reckless."
Hunter sighed softly, scuffed his foot on the dusty, sandy ground and said, "I very much regretted what I said a short time later."
You nodded slowly, you knew he could sense your rapid heartbeat, so you didn't even try to hide it or worry about it. On the contrary, you opened yourself to the Force, reaching out to Hunter and exploring his feelings. What you found only quickened your heartbeat. Hunter felt deep longing reaching out to you, joy, concern, affection. His longing was like an open, bleeding wound, hurting him and expelling energy at the same time.
You withdrew your antennae again, feeling that you had breached his privacy, and a small part of you felt ashamed of it. Looking at him, you realized how much you really missed this handsome man. You missed all about him, his smokey voice, his warmth, his scent, his smile, those dark eyes... everything.
Hunter's eyes fell on the lightsaber on your belt, then his gaze moved back up to your face, seeming surprised.
"Is that on your belt, what I think it is?"
You said with a teasing little smile, "I'm not sure what you think, but if you think it's a lightsaber, you're right."
"Where did you get it? From Maul?" he wanted to know, a slightly critical undertone in his voice.
Patiently, you explained, "No, it's mine. I built it myself."
"But Maul taught you?"
You nodded.
"You know he's a Sith?" asked Hunter, crossing his arms in front of his chest.
"I'm aware of that" you said sternly, "Is this another one of those times you judge me without knowing the whole story?"
Hunter lowered his arms again with a sigh and said, "I just know that Maul is dangerous, he's probably not who he says he is with you."
You shook your head, "He's never hidden who he is or what he does. I don't condone it, but I learned as much as I could from him, how I apply what I learned is up to me. That's the advantage of being an adult when you train and not being molded into something from childhood."
"Probably," Hunter said.
After a pause, he asked hesitantly, "You and Maul.... are you two... a couple?"
"No. Teacher and student, that's all," you said, and could see Hunter breathe a sigh of relief at your answer.
He nervously stepped from one leg to the other and asked, "Would you maybe want to travel with us again?"
Your heart skipped a beat; you wanted nothing more.
"Her training isn't complete yet," you heard Maul say, approaching from the background, "She's not going anywhere."
Hunter's hand slowly moved to the handle of his blaster.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you" Maul said calmly, "If you really know who I am, then you will realize that"
You put yourself between Hunter and Maul.
"It's my decision if and when I go" you said stubbornly.
Maul looked at you calmly.
"You really want to leave, unfinished business, without opening the holocrons?"
He knew exactly how much you wanted this, but what he didn't count on was your longing to be back with Hunter, with the only family you ever had.
"There are more important things," you said calmly.
Maul narrowed his eyes to angry slits; you could feel his anger vibrating in the Force.
"He turned his back on you, you were so desperate that you were willing to go with a stranger, far away from him, and now you just want to go back to him? Your training is not complete, nor have you received your answers that you so eagerly sought," he growled angrily.
When you didn't answer immediately, he took a deep breath as if trying to collect himself.
Much calmer, he finally said, "Well, you know where to find me."
Hunter growled, "I don't think that matters."
Maul said with a confident smirk, "Oh, I'm quite sure she'll be back. If not for your general inability, then for the unanswered questions that will eventually push their way back to the surface once the initial delightful excitement of your reunion is over."

You had just returned a few minutes ago, Tech had told you that Rex was busy with Amy and you were about to follow Crosshair to the playground when you saw the shuttle coming. With a critical frown, you watched it land. You glanced over your shoulder where Wrecker was standing, looking just as critically.
"Are we expecting visitors?" he asked.
"Not that I know of," grumbled Hunter, who came up behind him on the ramp.
Hunter murmured to Wrecker, "Go get your gear, we might get in trouble."
Nervously, you looked around and discovered that Rex was coming your way, but Amy was not with him. At first, you wanted to panic, automatically, but then you remembered that Crosshair had gone to check on them. He was probably with Amy, so she was safe and protected.
Your heart still beat in your throat as Hunter hurriedly waved you into the shuttle.
"Go tell Tech," he grumbled, stopping on the ramp.
With a nod, you hurried past him to comply with his request. You found Tech in the engine room, of course, along with Echo. The two of them looked at you and both frowned. It was obvious to them that something was wrong.
"We have an uninvited visitor."
Tech tossed the tool aside and immediately asked, "Where's Amy?"
" With Crosshair" Rex said coming up behind you, "The two of them are hiding out until the coast is clear."
Tech nodded, tense yet relieved. He reached for your hand and squeezed it gently.
"You stay in here," he said seriously to you.
"But-"
"No discussions, you wait here in the engine room," he said urgently, "I want you to be safe."
You sighed, much preferring to help, to keep an eye on Tech. You didn't want to wait here in the dark. Tech was rarely stern or stubborn, but you could tell he would not tolerate any dissent here and now.
Reluctantly, you said, "Okay. I'll wait here."
Tech gave you a kiss and said, "I'll come get you when the coast is clear."
Crosshair had climbed the nearby hill with Amy, there he now lay in wait with his rifle, watching the shuttle and the people getting out of it, when he got distracted.
"Uncle Cross, I have to pee."
He frowned, turned his head and looked at the little girl.
"Do you need my help to do that?"
"No, just wanted to let you know"
Crosshair nods in relief.
"Good."
Amy wobbled off, and Crosshair watched her go.
"Don't go too far away, stay within earshot, Amy"
Amy stopped and said, "Mommy says to make sure no one ever watches me pee, especially grown men"
Crosshair raised his eyebrows, but finally nodded.
"Your mama is right, but I'm not a stranger and right now we're in a tense situation. I need to keep an eye on you. I'm definitely not looking, but talk to me while you pee, so I'm sure you're around."
Amy shrugged her shoulders and said, "Alright."
Shortly after, she begins to babble happily to herself as well as Crosshair. She tells about her stuffed animal and how she fell down in the Marauder and got a lollipop from Tech for being so brave. Crosshair listens with amusement, mutters something confirming occasionally and watches again what's happening down at the shuttle.
Meanwhile, Amy goes into an explanatory mode, much like her father, telling Crosshair all the details, down to the smallest thing, of what her stuffed animal is made of, how it was made, and why her stuffed animal is friends with Lula.
"Very interesting, little bean," murmurs Crosshair, who is only half listening as he is focused on the scene in the valley.
Finally, Amy comes back and lies down next to him on the forest floor, a stick in her small hands. She mimics his pose and posture, pretending the stick is a rifle.
With conviction, she says, "I'm going to be a sniper, too."
Crosshair looks over at her from his scope, only now seeing that she is mimicking him. Warmth spreads through his chest, a very strange feeling. He smiles warmly. Amy looks cute lying there in wait with her stick as a substitute for a rifle. Amy admires her uncle so much that she wants to be like him.
Amused, he says, "Your mother and father won't be too thrilled about this".
Amy looks at him questioningly.
"Why?"
Crosshair looks through his scope again and says, "We'll talk about that later, shorty, okay? Your uncle needs to focus a bit right now, we want to have your mom and dad's back after all".
Amy nods resolutely and also gets back into pose. But then she asks, “Would you like it if I get to be a sniper?”
He blinks, thinks for a short moment.
"I would be proud of you and very honored that you would want to be like me. But maybe you will change your mind again when you are older".
Amy shakes her head with conviction.
"I definitely want to be a sniper."
Crosshair chuckles, "Don't worry, as soon as you are old enough, I will be happy to teach you".
"When will I be old enough? I'll be three soon"
Crosshair blinks and says quietly, "Three... hard to believe. Sometimes I forget how young you are, you talk as much as your father did at that age"
"That's not an answer"
Crosshair laughs softly, "You're as smart as him too", after a pause he adds, "In a few years if your parents allow it"
Amy sighs, "Years are long"
He says softly, "Years are a lot shorter than you think, and they eventually go by faster than you'd like"
" When I am a sniper, then I can go with you when you go on missions! I'll work with you and Daddy!"
Crosshair sighs softly and says, "We'll see. One thing at a time."
"I don't want to wait!" complains Amy.
"No patience," Crosshair mutters, "You definitely get that from your mother. Now hush and focus"
Finally, Crosshair can see the uninvited visitors. He recognizes one of them.
He growls, "You've got to be kidding me."

I don't feel well omg
Description: After six months apart from a certain bad batcher, he comes to your rescue when your mission to steal data from the Empire goes wrong. Unfortunately, you’re not exactly happy to see each other.
Warnings: 18+, Future smut, Language, Angst!
Table of Contents: Part One, Part two, Part Three
Ord Mantell… it’s been awhile. It’s still an impatient city. And you’re still an impatient woman.
Hunter had barely spoken a word to you since you’d landed.
“Wait here,” was all he’d said before jogging down the steps with Echo, Omega and Wrecker following close behind. You considered leaving as they disappeared out of sight. You could find much less… complicated transport somewhere else.
“I assume you are still proficient with a hydrospanner?” Tech’s voice asks behind you and you grit your teeth, biting back a sigh. You twist around finding him walking towards you, though he seems more focused on the data pad in his hand.
Lifting an eyebrow, you watch him for a moment before turning back to the door. “Hunter left you to make sure I didn’t steal the ship, didn’t he?”
“The odds of success would be stacked against you as you would have to break through three layers of encryption to take over the flight controls,” Tech informs you then adds, “Hunter’s exact words were, ‘don’t let her run off.’” You shake your head and lean against the doorway. “They will return soon. In the meantime, I have several calibrations and minor repairs to make. You may join me if you wish.”
A shadow moves out of the corner of your eye and you shift as Tech moves past you, out the door. Out of everyone, you hadn’t thought he would be the one offering you an out. It would be easy to follow after him in silence, crawl under the ship and let your hands set to work checking the hydraulics and electrical systems. You were still proficient when it came to handling a spanner. Neither of you would have to say anything beyond your individual projects.
But that thought gnawing at the back of your mind would never go away. It would still be there. Better to get it out now, to ask.
“Hunter…” you take a breath as Tech reaches the ground. He glances back at you, your mouth held open as your brain tries to process what it wants to say. How are you even supposed to ask this without sounding like a complete asshole? So you phrase it in a way where it’s not clear, where you’re giving the answer in the question. That way you might avoid hearing what you don’t want to hear. “He’s good, right? I-I mean he seems okay—”
“I am not sure what you’re asking, Y/N,” Tech says quickly. He twists around and cuts his eyes up at you, sunlight glinting off his goggles. He shakes his head and sighs. “He normally keeps things to himself. This was no different. But emotionally… your leaving created a wound that refuses to heal. Even when we all understand why you left—you lied to him.” He turns to the side, his gaze leaving yours and you feel it like a punch to the gut. “And the second Rex told us you were in trouble, it was all Hunter could do to get to you. So, instead of trying to quell whatever guilt you are feeling, perhaps you should consider facing it before you hurt my brother again.”
Your mouth has long since gone dry. It’s a harsh breath before you swallow and clear your throat, ignoring the way your eyes are beginning to sting with tears.
“I never wanted to hurt him,” you breathe out finally. “Or any of you.”
Tech nods, biting his tongue before he glances back up at you. “I believe that. What you lost was unimaginable. Losing you though… things have changed.” Looking down, Tech kicks the bottom step lightly with the toe of his boot. “I assume you know that already however.”
“I do,” you answer, crossing your arms over your chest as Tech faces you again. “But I can’t stay and try to fix it. Not yet at least.”
“You make it sound as though you intended to come back all along.”
You let out a soft laugh, a sad smile on your face as you look down at him. “Tech, do you think about what your life might look like in five years? Ten?”
“Clone life expectancy is short,” he tells you nonchalantly and you try to hide the wince that runs through you at that little reminder.
“Hmm,” you nod before clicking your tongue. You glance up at the top of the hanger, the last of the day’s light glinting off the metal rim. “Hunter is the only family I have left. This mission – it’s almost over. And when it’s done, when I’m done… I will beg him to take me back, to forgive me, to trust me again. But not one blasted second before. I can’t stop. I won’t. Not even for him.”
The knife in your chest twists as Tech stares up at you. There’s pity in that look. An empathetic sadness. Adjusting his goggles with one hand, he slowly starts to turn away, gaze falling back to his data pad.
“I have repairs to get to,” he says, leaving you at the top of the steps, shadows descending as the Ord Mantell sun goes down for the night.
A/N:
Short chapter because I needed a transition to get to our next part.
You know it’s bad when Tech is the one chastising you for emotional mistakes. Also I realized today that I have always written OCs who get their hearts broken by the guy. I've never written an OC breaking the guy's heart and I'm kinda loving it? Poor Hunter. I know. I'm evil.
She/Her. 18 years on this planet. I'm in mourning please support us clone girlies
