Help if you can
Still Holding On, Thanks to You 💔🍉
Each day we wake up, not knowing what will come next. 25 family members lost, our home destroyed, our future uncertain.
But today, I remind myself—we’re still here. And thanks to the generosity of kind people, we’ve raised $1,580 so far.
It’s not enough to rebuild, but it’s a reminder that people still care. And that means everything.
đź’™ Please, if you can, help us take the next step. Even a share means the world to us.
🙏 If my tag disturbed you, I’m truly sorry . Please ignore this post if it’s not for you.

Your kindness is a light in this darkness. Thank you. ❤️
When I see: "Tamlin You Stupid Bitch"...
My brain says: "Rhysand You Raping Bitch"...
No but really...
As a Mexican woman, a Latin American woman, I can tell you I'm Still Here winning the category is so SO important.
THAT is how you make a movie about missing people, about struggle, about the human experience.
I'm so glad it got to win!
STILL PISSED OVER THE TWO AWARDS THAT TURD EMILIA PEREZ GOT!
Anyways
My name is Abdelmajed. I never imagined I’d be sharing my story like this, but life in Gaza has become unbearable. I am a survivor of the war here, and in the blink of an eye, everything I once knew—my home, my safety, my community—was ripped away from me.
The war has transformed Gaza into a graveyard of broken dreams. The buildings that once stood as symbols of life and resilience are now piles of rubble. Every corner is filled with the echoes of explosions. Every moment is shrouded in uncertainty. There is no security. There is no stability. There is no light at the end of the tunnel.
Basic needs have become luxuries. Food is scarce. Clean water is even scarcer. Hospitals are overwhelmed and under-resourced, and there is almost no medical care to be found. Every night, families go to bed hungry, praying they’ll wake up to see another day. The cost of basic necessities has skyrocketed, and it’s become a daily battle just to survive.
I’ve seen things I never thought possible—standing in long lines for a piece of bread, rationing every drop of water, and watching my people suffer in silence. I have lost everything—my home, my safety, my dignity.
Escape from Gaza is my only hope, but it’s almost impossible without financial help. The cost of evacuation is far beyond my means, and without support, I’m trapped in a warzone with no way out.
I’m reaching out to you now, in the hopes that someone, anyone, can help. I am not asking for luxury. I am asking for a chance—just a chance—to live. A chance to escape this never-ending cycle of fear, destruction, and loss. A chance to rebuild my life somewhere safe, where I can begin again, where I can find hope once more.
Any amount you can give will help me get closer to safety. Even the smallest donation will make a difference—it could be the lifeline I need to survive. If you are unable to donate, please share my story. The more people who hear it, the better the chance that I can find the support I desperately need.
Your kindness and support mean the world to me. You’re not just helping me escape a war; you’re giving me a chance to live, to rebuild, to breathe again.
Thank you for listening. Thank you for caring.
My sweet Nesta, they don't deserve you (Cassian, rhysand, inner circle)
they literally projected fernanda torres on the sky with drones in the carnaval in salvador today but we're managing our expectations just fine btw.
As for the people who liked Emilia Pérez and is defending the film, please do it under any argument except 'you are racist if you don't like it'. Mexicans are hating on this movie, the cast is not even mexican, the main actress has responded to mexicans who are pointing the flaws poorly, the director unashamedly said that he didn't need to do research because he already knows enough and it hasn't even been released here in Mexico for a reason.
It won an award but that recognition is not actually for Mexico or Latin America because the movie is french.
Mexico and latam in general have great directors and actors who are doing an amazing job in Hollywood and I encourage you to go look for their films and shows if your intention is to support and learn about mexican representation.
I'm glad we're all against Emilia Perez, here! If you were disturbed by how little that movie cared about the families of people who disappeared, victims of unfair structures that cause fear in the populations in countries of latin america with no consequences or justice, please support I'm Still Here, the brazilian film about of a family fighting for the truth about the disappearance of their father at the hands of the military dictatorship.
I love A Stepmother’s Märchen,How to Get My Husband On My Side.
