In my part of the world it is 2 September. My one-year anniversary of writing Lyra and Harvey. What better way to celebrate than with a chapter update and this amazing art?

I was so very fortunate to commission the incredibly cool and talented @lemon-zesttt for this stunningly beautiful art of Lyra and her Harvey on their second honeymoon.

I have put these two through some tough times in my long fic and so goodness me, they need... no, they deserve this little getaway.

They also need each other.

The details in this piece very honestly take my breath away. The light is simply beautiful. Lyra looks so gorgeous. (Look close at her lil tummy. I love it.) And Harv... well, you can see him. He is delicious.

September is really smitten with this guy and his caretaking tendencies, but she is Very Adamant on him being open with his needs and wants in every aspect of their relationship. care goes both ways!!! after a long day she Will make him dinner no ifs ands or buts! and at first it’s really hard for him to accept it (“September, really, I’m the doctor, I should be caring for you”) but eventually she helps him understand that if he’s not cared for, he will probably crash land
