A pseudo-wisdom I heard many years ago says that, "You can pick your nose, and you can pick your friends, but you can't pick your friends' noses." This photo is strong evidence to refute that...
The Three Stooges
This is an EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TOPIC! Please read on:
Okay, so here’s something that ties in with the demise of my girl’s father (who is degenerating badly with late-stage dementia, and is hospitalized with a very dim . For years now— although it was not discovered until the last year or so— he had fallen victim to a series of scam artists and out-and-out criminals who preyed upon his weakening mental state. Every conceivable scam has been perpetrated against him, and consequently the family. I have done what I could to stop these animals, including launching a criminal investigation against: a disgusting low-life attorney in Warrenton, VA; a mortgage scammer in Palm Bay, FL; a Jamaican lottery scammer; a UK lottery con-artist; and two others. I and my girl have spent exhaustive hours speaking with investigators, and I personally have confronted, via telephone, these crooks. They have bilked my girl’s dad out of hundreds of thousands of dollars, and have financially imperiled the entire family. His mounting paranoia that his family was “trying to take his money” (a common theme with dementia patients) led him to combat the family at every turn. Instead of embracing those that loved and cared for him, he turned for solace to the crooks because they assured him that they were in his corner, and that his “investments” with them would surely pay dividends in the millions. This once highly intelligent man then proceeded to: sell his car; cash out his insurance policies; clean out bank accounts, including college funds; try to sell at fire sale prices antiques and guns. All for these criminals.
I have managed to track some of these crooks down to a geophysical location, and I have alerted law enforcement (where applicable; most of the scum-bags are operating out of the country!), but to little avail. The lawyer is being handled as is the mortgage con-man, but these others are still roaming free, unfettered to do what they will to the unsuspecting, innocent, and, most sickeningly, the old and infirm. I want this to stop, not just for my family’s sake, but for the sake of other elderly folks who may have fallen victim to this bullshit. Which leads me to this idea:
I have the numbers for 3 of the con artists who keep contacting the family through the patriarch’s mobile phone, a phone which until recently, when he was admitted to the hospital, was never out of his grasp. I have that phone and I have harvested the numbers from the phone, and I have begun to call and barrage them as they have done my family. What I really want to do is post the numbers for these monsters up on FB so that everyone knows the numbers and can join in my campaign to turn the tables on the bad guys. Give them an earful and make them miserable to the point that they have to drop out of sight to avoid further detection and possible apprehension. I know that it is only a band-aid fr a bullet wound, but at this point, any reprieve would be a godsend.
So, that said, here are the numbers. And don’t worry, these are not law abiding folks, and I guarantee you that they will not be calling the police. Those are the last people in the world these animals would call. Do with this info what you will…
1. 716.240.5566: NY number that is either a cloned phone or is a cell acquired in the US and then transported to outside territories. This is the woman who has alternated between investment schemes, and based on family research, has also perpetrated a lottery scam, using different names. I have spoken with this low-life and she is a nasty one. If words were toxic, I’d be dead a hundred times over. Of course, she got what she gave…
2. 334.578.8036. This is another bullshit scammer, claiming to be the American Gaming Board (can you say lottery scam!?!); there is no such entity, and several websites show this bogus name in conjunction with attempted and (sadly!) successful scams. When you call it, a woman speaking ALMOST perfect English answers, but there is no mistaking that she is Indian, if you know what nuances to look for in vocal patterns. Anyway, when you call her, she starts asking why you are calling instead of following a phone protocol, which any legitimate business or agency would follow. There’s the give-away. Then, when you try to keep her talking she becomes angrier and angrier until she makes demands of your name, address, and telephone number (I almost always use *67 to block my name/number when I call). When you refuse to provide that information, she gets really nasty, on the scale of a cobra crossbred with a wolverine. So, so much fun stuff here…
And #3. 702.570.3339. These are the pinnacle pieces of crap! They have been parasitically wending their way through the family savings for 2 years+, according to the research that has been conducted. (And yes, research has been conducted, by the family, Loudoun County (Virginia) Sheriff’s detectives, and a special field agent from the FBI liasing with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s detective corps. This lovely bunch has promised and promised this poor man that he has won $2M and a BMW and that all he needed was to pay an “import fee” and pay for courier service. Given his mental declivity, he did so. Repeatedly, to the tune of over $85K!!! I have spoken to one of the schmucks in this little operation, and he has threatened to kill me, kill my children, and to destroy what is left of the family finances. He is a real peach, and I can guarantee you he is not a US citizen. My military background and my extensive interaction with people from the Indian subcontinent of Asia lets me know that he is either a Northwestern Indian or a Southeastern Pakistani. Of course, he claims to be from the UK, which is rich since his phone number is actually a Las Vegas cloned number. The service provider is YMAX Communications, and the number which I reported to the FCC was originally assigned to a fax number which was originally associated with a business. (kind of makes me wonder about the security and integrity of that particular business… was it Target or Home Depot? Hmmm…).
And for further edification, the criminals who perpetrate this swindles and theft (and it IS theft, theft by deception!!) not only enrich themselves with their ill-gotten gains, but it also believed by some law enforcement agents with whom the family has spoken that these criminals earmark portions of their stolen proceeds to go to fund terrorist groups here and abroad. So this is not just a simple crime. No, no, it has much broader-reaching implications. Despicable and beyond criminal; it’s an atrocity!
So, there you go. Do with this what you will. As for me, I will continue to wage my campaign and drive these people insane until they either come to ground or I can have them apprehended. My logic here is the more I pester them and drive them into a furious lather, the less time they have to spend defrauding and ripping off the elderly. Disgusting bastards…
Sounds like a softer edged approach to censorship and intimidation...
This is usually a tactic of Leftists who want desperately to control everyone's thoughts, actions, money, freedom, and words while at the same time appearing as the saviors of the world. The word for that is insidious...
Fuck insidious types. They'll remain powerless over me and people like me, no matter the epithets, the harassment, the threats, and all the rest of their putrid tactics.

Practice makes perfect. That is why I love this post. You are active in your art, not just talking about it. So practice every day, and, along the way, I think you just might inspire others. Well done!

Been there plenty of times... then I started just bleaching the hell out of the darks. Greys (and whatever color that weird orange you get from bleach is) work better for me anyway..
Starting to see how these things really work?
As a culinarian, with over 20 years of experience and training, in a vast array of epicurean options, I have to say that one of my favorite descriptive terms these days is: slurpable.
Long live ramen!
(Or most any other noodle... except udon... fucking udon... big ass, sweaty-tasting, soppy-wet, edible shoelaces...)
Yeah, fuck udon... Hail ramen majesty!
Hmmmm...
What the heck, right? My credo is that I'm opposed to nothing and open to everything...
So go, Golden Potato of Luck!

There is no legitimate argument against this statement, especially in light of the fact that daily, an average of 32 veterans commit suicide, while others become homeless (at present, roughly 300,000 veterans are homeless).
