Ummm, now I've gone and confused myself...

Been away for a few days/nights, sorting out the grain from the chaff. And by God's grace and love, I've been successful...

And just when I thought the gifts couldn't get richer, I found a poem come flowing out tonight. It may read as a sadness, but read deeper, because there's love and the anticipation of a love that holds the salvation one man, this man, sought. That salvation was delivered to me by Providence, and this poem marks the time it took me to come to this revelation...

Red cirrus swipes against blue canvas

The colors should grasp my voice and send it heavenward, but I can't... just can't

Birds alight like dreams upon my head, shoulders

They wheedle me for a song to join theirs...

But I can't... just can't...

A child laughs and invites me into her otherwise private joke at the ridiculous world of ridiculous grown-ups...

I smile, and, for that briefest of explosions from the canyons of my yesterdays, I want to join her. Join her and force my wild laughter to Heaven's gate... but I can't... just can't...

A friend died today, or maybe a century ago, but it feels like every second he's there, then not...

And before tears can own me, I remember his jokes about living, dying, soaring, searing and God, and I want to laugh... but I can't... just can't...

I sit on the quiet bench among heavy skies, and I know, now, the reason for my can'ts...

I can't until there's you to show me I can...

God gave me HER, as undeserving as I was for all my years, and she shines a light dipped in God's lustrous Waters, a light that guides me in Stygian nights and stormswept days. And I decry my unending gratitude for God's gift of her. Amen.

For years now, I've held Lady Gaga as the benchmark for how musicians and musical talents should interact and behave with their (her) fans, and this latest underscores that sentiment. She is everyone. Everyone, not all, singularly, herself. Feminine/ masculine/ whatever, she is that. Her eyes tell all the stories. I could see myself swimming and swooning in her eyes. I absolutely adore what she embraces. Perfecto!

I'd love to write a story about her, one that unleashes what she is, what she does, and what she brings. There's music and spectacular art in an endeavor like that, I've no doubt. So, LG (Life is definitely Good with this woman in it...), if you've a mind to, give me a shout and let's do a raw collaboration...

Hmmmm...

So, courageous Zelenskyy is not so much interested in the salvation of his countrymen and genuine freedom from oppression, so much as he is in the salvation of his own authority as president of Ukraine. To accomplish that, he has taken cues, ironically enough, from Russia and Putin, shutting down any political parties that stand in opposition to his own, as well as silencing communications sources and systems, "unifying" such into a single pro-state, pro-Zelenskyy "news and information" source. This is great for Zelenskyy and his cohorts, as they can now more effectively control propaganda and the garbage intelligence being fed to the average person, here in the U.S. and around the world, thereby ensuring that his misdirection and the dirty deals he and his cronies (The Big Guy & Son, inclusive) perpetuate behind a thickening Iron Curtain. There are actually two wars going on in Ukraine, folks, but the one that is getting little to no coverage is the one that e should be worried about, especially if we as a world population of peace-loving people truly care about stamping out tyranny and corruption.

Never believe the hype of any news source, but do your research and tool quickly find that the real truth is somewhere in the middle of all the lies.

What I think I might look like come Saturday, October 31st, 2020, at 12:02 AM, a single minute after the tolling of my 54th birthday. The roads of life are getting steeper, and my trucks are getting permanently looser... (Note: That's a skater reference.]

Random thought: do any of you folks share my sneaking suspicion that bugs that alight on your phone or computer screen are actually thrill seekers and not idiotic light fanatics? That they're just hoping for you to blast them with a rush of air from your mouth or hand, to shoo them away, so that they go on the baddest ass flight of their lives?
