Serious Query

So I just took like an hour to think up and draw the chapter page for chapter two of my comic

Meaning that along with the one page intro, chapter one is complete

So i ask you all:

Should i start the finishing touches to the completed chapters for release and post them?

If i keep to my own schedule (which is like around nine to 3:30 every weekday) i should get it done fairly quickly as the completed content is pages 1-6

I haven't made the cover page yet because i really need to brainstorm on that shit

I also need to think of a general series title....

Hey guys!

So last night was my senior prom and despite the awful music that was impossible to dance to (that and my dress was a tad too long) it was amazing.

I never went to many dances, and it was always awkward not knowing most of the people there (yeah, I don’t have many friends, I’m a nerd)

The best moments of the night were with my friends, snatching fedoras, writing messages with the tiny star decorations, the mustache stick

But by far, the best moments had been dancing with someone very special to me

I don't feel good... So I put on my boyfriend’s hoodie to think of him while I try to pass out for the night, and curled up in bed.

Well I guess I also drew this cos of it... tried out some stuff, pretty happy with it.

To my adorkable sweetheart, when you inevitably see this, I love you and miss you so much. Just thinking of you makes my day a little brighter no matter how good or bad it’s going.

I know you’ll love this because it has 3 of your favorite things: me, my art, and me wearing this hoodie.

Took me a long time for me to conclude I'm panromantic and demisexual

Honestly, I have never been on this platform to spread hate or get into petty quarrels but I have been formally invited into one by a certain individual and it is time to get out receipts. I am not going to @ them but what I am going to do is tell you to avoid they're page and inform you of some of the things they are wrong about or are ignorant of. Let's begins with acephobia

Asexuality has actually had a long history and has existed for thousands of years. In ancient greek they had several virgin goddesses that could all be considered asexaul, more specifically Hestia and her roman counter part Vesta who both never fell in love and blatantly refused to have sex and had worshippers who joined in order to avoid sex and love. While the Vestal Virgins are a bad example since they were forced to join, that doesn't mean that asexuality doesn't exist.

Next up the general ignorance of things outside your personal bubble.

I honestly can't comprehend how you don't know about the hundreds of people who get murdered every year due to them being queer but congratulations(?). People die because it is illegal to be queer and that has nothing to do with the bible, religion doesn't start public executions, people do.

Now lastly the blatant panphobia and enbyphobia

Pansexuals have been here for a long time and while the label isn't as well known as bisexual they are very different. Also as long as the sexuality isn't being used to harm anyone in the community, or make fun of the community, why should it matter? Also nonbinary has also had a long history and even has it's own mythological background with the goddess Ishtar and biologically there has never been only on gender with the existance of intersex people which you promptly ignore. Now I could go on to tell you more about gender but I belive Hank Green does it best.

Here are some drawings from a giant sketchbook

This Sketchbook was originally for my 12th grade art class but I didn't end up using it much

One assignment was to draw things that contrasted, so I turned to my characters

I will always adore that smiling face of Psychoe's

This was the page where I created the main character in the first arc of my comic series (i promise i will work on it, the release of Hazbin Hotel's pilot episode has given me the inspiration to do so) Desmond Eldrich!

As you can clearly see, I have difficulties completely killing characters, especially with the way the worlds systems work. So I tried to make a character for the sole purpose to have them die.... and I ended up with sweet lil Desmond here... and I just couldn't do it.

Stuff from when I was fleshing out his character a bit

One thing I've noticed when I draw characters is that their hair is almost always a floof with curls. Especially the boys. I can't seem to keep it from doing that so I try other things to make each character's design as unique as their personalities

Examples of this:

Kira has a very specific floof to his hair and is almost always wearing his grey hoodie

Grim's hair floof is in the same shape as Kira's but much more curled and he usually wears a tattered coat (think Garry from Ib)

Satan's hair always does this weird "swoop" to one side

Nova always has his stitch marks across his face and wearing a white suit

Miyoto has a very curly hair floof that covers their right eye (unless in a non-human form)

Karmen's hair is very long and her bangs cover her eyes

Lucifer has less of a floof that covers his right eye and he is almost always wearing something that covers his neck injury, and said thing usually ends up covering his mouth too

I could honestly go on but I'll stop here
