"oh my gosh jay, i'm so sorry, it's just been a few years since i've seen you near the house." hayley felt a little embarrassed, she'd know the kid for a very long time given who his parents were. when he and lizzie got engaged, they spent even more time together, but that had felt like so long ago. time was manipulated by the grief they all felt after the merge. "how are you doing sweetie?" she lifted her eyebrow at the other, knowing it was a loaded question, but it had to be asked. hope had become a totally different person after everything. how could she not? lizzie, hope, and josie were inseparable and intended to beat every odd that told them otherwise. jay was in the middle of it all and honestly the hybrid wasn't sure where his loyalties lied.
Jay nodded. "Lizzie," he said slowly as he looked at her. "Lizzie's fiancee." He hasn't really seem her family since it happened. Since she has died. But he had been with her 2 years, so they were all familiar in a way. Then he paused. "Also... you know Aiden's kid," he said given she was his dad's alpha.
the strength card // upright: inner strength, bravery, compassion, focus // reversed: self doubt, weakness, insecurity
i'll be right there, but you'll have to grab my throat and lift me in the air, if you need anyone. i'll stop my plans, but you'll have to tie me down and then break both my hands, if you need anyone. -- twenty one pilots jumpsuit
gabriela grew up knowing that a lot of inner strength was needed to push through the harder times of their life. being a foster child required a lot of bravery, something that she does her best to teach her children as they grow. their chosen family is the main focus for them and they will not allow anyone to just come and take it. something gabbi has always held too much of, especially for a demon, is compassion. only in her darkest time after becoming a demon, did she ever possess the ability to harm others.
but, with raymis back, there is a lot of self doubt in her good qualities. because it was them who saw her at her truly darkest moments. for her, it was a time of weakness, but it wasn't seen that way with raymis. power was always the end goal and an when filled with insecurity, gabbi can be lethal.
can gabriela keep her soul and family safe?

every other sunday, gabriela would go to the local farmers market, to pick up new produce for the bed and breakfast that tyler and her ran. the night before had been restless, tossing and turning as the a curse began across the city. doing their best to not yawn, gabi took a sip of her iced latte while examining a new batch of tomatoes. looking for just the right one, she reached for the same bright orange berry. pulling back, they gestured toward the other to take the fruit themselves. "you can have it, looks like there is another one just like it."

hearing the dead are being resurrected and seeing it are two totally different things. when it happens, no one is really sure how they would react, gabriela happened to start with staring. summer had died two years ago, it was something that sent a shockwave through the savlatore-gilbert family and so many others. so to see her walking about the streets caused gabi to stop right in her tracks. taking a deep breath she walked forward and tapped the other on her shoulder. "summer, i have a ton of question but the loudest one is, have you spoken to your parents and are you okay?" it was a loaded questions, but she wasn't sure how the other was brought back to life. concern laced their face as they examined summer for any signs of harm.
As Summer stepped off the bus in New Orleans, the humid air wrapped around her like a heavy blanket. She took a deep breath, trying to shake off the feeling of unease that had settled in her chest. It had been two years since she died, and now she was back, searching for answers about her family and her own death.
Confusion clouded her mind as she navigated the unfamiliar streets, her heart racing with a mix of fear and determination. The sight of the bodies, their lifeless forms bearing the unmistakable marks of a violent struggle, sent shivers down her spine. Was it werewolves? Vampires? The supernatural world she had only heard whispers about?
Despite her fear, there was a glimmer of bravery in her eyes as she clutched the necklace that had brought her back from the beyond. It was that same bravery that had kept her going through the uncertainty of her newfound existence. Now, as she delved deeper into the mysteries of New Orleans, she knew that facing the unknown was the only way to uncover the truth about her family and the dark forces at play in the city.
As Summer's journey unfolded, she found herself drawn into a web of supernatural intrigue, where every step brought her closer to unraveling the secrets of her past and the chilling reality of the supernatural world.

the fool card // upright: innocence, new beginnings, free spirit // reversed: recklessness, taken advantage of, inconsideration
that's not right, there's a person behind those eyes. that's not right, any crack is a sign of lies. that's not cool, everybody needs a fool, i'll be your fool -- djo fool
eleanor has always held an innocence that often, gets her into trouble. still because of that trait, she also has been able to make wonderful opportunities for herself, such as, her book deal. all of that potential was cut short, when she was killed in a tragic accident. however being in new orleans, means that being dead isn't always permanent. meaning new beginnings for the un-trigged werewolf. now that she is back from the grave, she has decided to take this opportunity to live a life that she won't regret. allowing her free spirit to shine brighter.
yet, it can't all be that picture perfect. with the evil lurking the streets of new orleans it's only bound to start up eleanor's recklessness. for someone who holds such empathy it's easy for her to be taken advantage of. one of her darker traits, is that when on a mission she can become inconsiderate, is it possible that eleanor can break free of whatever inadu has in store for her?
Would you rather always be two hours early or 20 minutes late? (eleanor)
"i'd always rather be early, because then if the event sucks i can leave early and it's no big deal."
wovles were shifting on the street, as darkness covered the cobblestone paths, causing hayley to feel a tightness in her chest, glancing around, eyes narrow she attempted to find any familiar faces. the hybrid knew that the moon wasn't meant to be full, so what the hell was going on? making her way down the alleyway, she remained cautious and alert until the sound of elijah's voice sent a calming wave through her brain. "oh believe me, this walk isn't for anyone's safety but our children's." walking to his side she inched closer, always comfortable when the two of them were touching in some way. "have you seen any of them?"
It's never a good sign when the wolves just start shifting like daisies popping up from the ground. He could hear the howls and realized, with no shortness of terror, that his children were out among the rabble. As he walked the streets, eyes scanning for any sign of trouble, he paused as he approached an opening into a field where he saw some of the wolves taking off to the forest. As footsteps approached from behind, Elijah held up his hand. "If I were you, I would strongly caution any midnight strolls through the trees tonight. You may find more trouble than you bargained for."

she wasn't sure why, but each day she spent alive the quieter her mind became. when all her anxious thoughts washed away, it was much easier to be around others. even with darkness lurking in the shadows, eleanor believed that she was getting her life back. nursing a gin and tonic, she began walking around the venue. watching as people giggled as they told each other stories, ever since coming back from the dead, she felt so disconnected from the world. as if she wasn't meant to be here anymore. the thought made her shiver, knowing that she should be dead instead of at a party.
with her mind darting from one horrible scenario to another, eleanor managed to bump into someone who was also trying to stay out of the spotlight. "oh my gosh i'm so sorry." grabbing some napkins from her pockets, she handed them to the other. "i spaced out and wasn't paying attention."

Heath sat on the edge of the gardens, doing what he did best: watching. His careful eye followed party-goers as he sipped beer from a plastic cup while seated on a fallen log. He wasn't working, exactly, but he couldn't turn off the need to observe. Besides, he wasn't really an engage in the social scene type of guy himself, so the outskirts were where he felt most comfortable regardless.
He kept his eyes peeled for any suspicious behavior, on the look out for the demon he and Ingrid were tracking, and eyes open for any of his other ongoing case subjects. Even off from work, there was no such thing as just enjoying an outing.
gabriela had been on the hunt for a certain someone, ever since she kaya uttered his name at the bar. their heart pounding as they made their way through the crowd, trying to find anyone that radiated the dark energy raymis would at a party like this. this was exactly the place he'd feed off with delight. she wanted to give up, go find tyler and forget that he was even mentioned, but his name made her angry. it was a rage she couldn't bury no matter how hard she tried. when he spoke, it made her shoulders stiffen. he couldn't see it but the demon raised an eyebrow at the other, her lips curling in disgust. "you'd love that wouldn't you? to just kill some poor soul all for entertainment. i'm assuming you only spoke to kaya the way you did was because you were trying to get my attention."

nearly black hues scanned the venue as they mused of the fact that they were a devil in disguise . it was easy for the demon to move around the crowd as if they belonged . crowds formed around them wherever they stood , as he played on their human desires of pride , greed , lust , and envy , among other things . raymis was charming to the others but that illusion just hid his true face . what was underneath the mask and illusions , was that they were pure evil , but the fun kind of evil , they thought . " look , i double dog dare you to drink that whole chardonnay bottle . " granted it would probably kill the ready drunken person , with alcohol poison , but a win was a win , right ? he teased to themselves .
josie had been in a mood since her and hope's european dark magic adventure. despite loving her job, deep down it always felt like something was missing because that was reality. a very part of her soul had left her body the day of the merge, never to return. it haunted her to this day, every dream being turned into a nightmare of the same ending over and over again. with a coffee in hand and headphones blaring music to help wake her bones, josie managed to catch a glimpse of someone she hadn't seen in awhile.
"mia?" she questioned to herself, before walking over to the other and smiling once certain. "i know where you parents are, welcome back or are you just visiting?" the siphoner always wondered where mia up and went to, it seemed as if it happened in the middle of the night.
Mia climbed out of her cab and paid them and then stepped into the street, looking up at the city streets. It was hard to ignore how big the unknown city was when all she had was an address for her parents new place. "I should have got a better map," she muttered to herself before looking up and spotting someone. "Do you think you can help me?" She asked. "I'm looking for this-" she said, holding out the music page she had written the address on. "House... can you point me in the right direction?"
