Do you even UNDERSTAND. I’ve never known darker times, and I covered the protest live at the Hatchetfield kennel. I am Dan Reynolds. (…with action news weekdays at 10pm) I hate to relay the news, but the football team might be screwed- stay inside, watch your children, CUZ A LOSIN’ STREAK’S COMIN’! (A losin’ streak’s comin’!) THERE’S A MAN ON THE LOOSE AND HE’S GOT A GUN, BETTER PUT OUT THE APB. The psycho’s killed two, if he gets me next, make it threeeeee (if he gets me next, I could be three!) We’re chasing wild goose and we don’t know how, watch the blame go around! Man down, down, down, who’s swinging the hatchet now? In HATCHET TOWN

Okay I’m currently furious that migraines are often so blindly easy to treat and I had to find this out myself at the age of 26 when I’ve been to a neurologist since I was 11 lol so I’m about to teach you two neat and fast little tricks to deal with pain!

The first is the sternocleidomastoid muscle, or the SCM muscle.

Okay I’m Currently Furious That Migraines Are Often So Blindly Easy To Treat And I Had To Find This

This big red section is responsible for pain around the eye, cheekbone, and jaw, as well as some temple pain. Literally all you have to do is angle your head down a little, angle it away from the side that hurts, and then you can gently pinch and rub that muscle. I find it best to start at the bottom and travel upwards. The relief is so immediate! You can increase pressure as you feel comfortable doing so.

Here is a short and easy video showing this in action

The second is a fast and easy stretch that soothes your vagus nerve, which is the nerve responsible for calming you down. The vagus nerve, for those unfamiliar, is stimulated by deep breathing such as yawning, sighing, singing, or taking a deep breath to calm your anger in a tense situation.

You can stretch this out by sitting up as straight as possible (this does not have to be perfect to work) and interlacing your fingers. Put your hands on the back of your head with your thumbs going down the sides of your neck and, while keeping your face forward, look all the way to one side with just your eyes. Hold that until you feel the urge to breathe deeply or yawn, or until you can tell there’s a change. Then do the same thing on the other side. When you put your arms down, you should clearly be able to turn your head farther in both directions. If the first session doesn’t get rid of your migraine, rest and repeat as many times as necessary. I even get a little fancy with it and roll my eyes up and down along the outer edge sometimes to stretch as much as I can.

If you need a visual here’s a good video on it. I know some of the language they use seems questionable but this is real and simple science and should not be discarded because it’s been adopted by the trendy wellness crowd!

I seriously cannot believe I didn’t hear a word of this from any doctor in my life. Additionally, if you get frequent recurring migraines, you may want to see a dietician. Migraines can be caused by foods containing histamines, lectin, etc. and can also be caused by high blood pressure in specific situations such as exercise, stress, and even sex.

If any of this information helps you I’d love to hear it btw! It’s so so fast and easy to do. Good luck!

Small penises aren't bad, balding isn't bad, being short isn't bad, being fat isn't bad. Physical traits are not signs of morality, and the sooner people stop mocking people for their bodies (yes, even when they're bad) the better.

Jewish Abuse Survivors, your abusers aren't owed your forgiveness on Yom Kippur.

What is stolen must be restored for teshuvah to be possible, and it is impossible for our abusers to restore what was stolen.

Our lives are forever changed by trauma and abuse, only we are in control of when or if ever, we forgive our abusers.

Goyim can reblog, but don't comment, this is only for Jews

"Intellectually disabled people can be smart in other ways :D"

Literally there are intellectually disabled people ON THIS SITE who have said that they ARE NOT SMART and that is absolutely fine!!! Nobody has to be smart!!! Ever!

You don't have to have a secret talent that makes you smart, you don't have to be creative or have special, secret knowledge, you can just... not be smart. It's that simple.

Smartness is not morally superior to intellectual disability, and people with ID don't have to have something that makes them smart.

To all the people with intellectual disabilities on here, I hope you have a good day where nobody tries to tell you that you have to be smart!

(This was posted because I saw zebulontheplanet's IQ posts again and looking at the comments on there, knowing several people with ID on here, makes me really mad)

all my love to mostly and fully bedbound people. i feel like we're often left out of even disability conversations and advocacy, much less the wider world. we are full, real, complex people like anyone else. we deserve love, support, connection, and the ability to live the fullest life we can under the circumstances

this post is for all of my transmascs and my trans men. all of you with wide hips, with long hair, with big tits, all of you who embrace femininity while still being wholeheartedly, beautifully, transmasc. all of you who decide to wear dresses because you love it, all of you who absolutely fucking rock it in thick eyeliner, all of you who don't want surgery or hormones, all of you who use all kinds of pronouns, and you're still so wonderfully transmasc.

and then. this is for my masculine transmascs. all of you who bind and layer to look masc, all of you who are on T or want surgery because it'll make you happy, all of my bears, my punks, my butches, my leathers, all of you beautiful, beautiful fucking people who are so proud and so confident in your masculinity. you are not dangerous. testosterone does not make you evil or predatory or harmful to others. you are also not immediately obligated to be a protector for others. you are allowed to enjoy your masculinity and still be loved the way you deserve to be loved.

this is for my black, asian, indian, latine, muslim, jewish trans men/mascs, my disabled transmascs, this is for my trans men and mascs who don't feel comfortable in the community all the time. you still deserve to find comfort in who you are and your identity because there will always be a place for you. you will always deserve love and support for who you are. trans men and trans mascs we are not lesser people we are not evil we are not endangering women/femmes, we are not less worthy of protection for being trans. i love you because of who you are.

So, for ArtFight this year I had a "Design A Demigod" section to help me get the designs for these 500+ campers I've been working on to flesh out the camp population throughout canon, and to my delight, I got thirteen* designs out of it, which I am very grateful for! I've now managed to give all of those kids their own icons in my own style (and assigning them their names and/or beads where necessary), and am now showing them off because these original designs were all amazing!

*I can count, I promise - one of these was given to me outside of ArtFight, because this is not a thing that is limited to ArtFight and more info about the project will be at the bottom of this post if anyone's interested!

The kids shown here are...

So what is this project?

Basically, I'm populating the entirety of the camp from 1998 through to 2020 for fic reasons. I've worked out all the kids' names, parentages and camp dates, and have opened the floor for people to help come up with visual designs for all of these kids. If there's any general interest on tumblr, I'll put up details of what I'm looking for later.

Remember when someone was like “haha the funniest thing tumblr could do right now is make it so you get a badge for looking at 600 posts instead of what twitters doing lol” and then they did it. That was pretty awesome. I think the funniest thing tumblr could do right now is stop flagging trans women’s post as sexual right fucking now lol and fix prev tags and get rid of the fucking bigots and racists and nazis for once haha and also apologize for this shit. Wouldn’t that be pretty funny lol haha it would be so funny if they did this

Was feeling like the worst person ever. Ruminating over all my past sins and realizing that while there is nothing in me that makes me truly evil, there is also nothing that makes me good. Trying to come up with reasons why I'm not a worthless waste of space and coming up empty. All the while, my stomach was churning to a sick rolling boil, fueling the fire of my self-hatred.

Turns out I was just hungry.
