They Probably Will In Later Seasons. She Did NOT Get On Well With Her Youngest Daughter Marguerite Or

They probably will in later seasons. She did NOT get on well with her youngest daughter Marguerite or her youngest son Hercule (also called Francis). Both children went on to rebel against her. So much family drama!

Sure she had to run the country while these two were growing up, but still...things got tense between them.

i wish they expanded on catherine being a deadbeat mother. this is where series bias in her favor is showing imo (or is it catherine storytelling bias? either way it's unsatisfactory.) because none of her scenes with her children explain why francis is so bitter and untrusting with her. i believe he had strong reasons to act that way and him leaning on mary who was always here for him makes complete sense. unlike his mother who i suspect secretly liked to spent time busy with court intrigues instead of wasting her lively brain energy on clueless little kids. she's like one of those fathers who prefer to only acknowledge their kid when they are old enough to hold adequate conversation not bothering to form any kind of bond with them beforehand. but i am sure catherine will fix that mistake with little charles.

Thank you. People need to breathe and take a moment to think before they run to their keyboards.

I’m a little surprised that so many actually believe that Jaime is going home to support Cersei.

I truly feel that he’s going there to put an end to her. If not, what has been the point of the last 5 seasons?

There’s still a prophecy to be fulfilled, and it will be Jaime who fulfills it I think.

I do believe he meant all those things he said about himself to Brienne, but I believe it’s a reason for killing her, not joining her. And obviously it’s about how he doesn’t deserve Brienne. Which he doesn’t.

So, I know you people love to rage, but there’s gotta be more at work here!

A disabled character who still has more personality than Bran Stark. Oz for the win.

(Joking aside, Augustus is an interesting character, especially since his being disabled is just one part of his character, not his defining feature.)

Today’s Disabled Character Of The Day Is Augustus Hill From Oz, Who Is A Wheelchair User

I finished the first book in the series. I came here to see if anyone else liked the first book like I did.

Whoah!

Maybe I should ease on back out the door I came in...

Shipping wars get ugly fast.

I still enjoyed the book though.

I don’t really get the Jonsa/Jonerys fights because Sansa and Dany are such interesting characters to me while I find Jon so boring (that’s just my taste, nothing against people who like Jon). Why are people fighting over which of these women gets his boring ass lmao. I personally don’t like Jonerys because it feels like a boring arc for Dany - especially if she’s pregnant. And Sansa has grown so much into herself as a politically savvy ruler that it would make me sad to see her ending up as Jon’s Queen or w/ever. A lot of Jonsa fans keep comparing Jon and Sansa to Ned and Catelyn, which is fine I guess. But I don’t want Sansa to be Catelyn 2.0. I thought the whole point of the story was that they learnt to be better and smarter than their parents. Jon and Ygritte was really the only pairing that I liked for Jon, because she made up for his broodiness and made his character more relaxed and human to me. I’m not sharing my opinion just to hate on these pairings, I guess I wanted to know if there were other Sansa or Dany stans who felt this way.

I get the feeling D&D really didn’t want Bran to be king, but did so because it was in George’s outline. Seeing how little Bran has done to be king (or deserve being king), they made Sansa Queen of the North because that at least makes more sense than King Bran.

Northern independence, and the people who keep defending it as an outcome on the show, continues to bother me. I like the idea of the breakup of the kingdoms in theory, but it should be a full dissolution. There is no point to the north becoming independent alone. If being part of a united realm is such horrible evil tyranny, then why isn't it horrible and evil for the remaining kingdoms? Why is it okay for them to be forced to kneel not only to a king but a Northern, and therefore foreign, monarch? Especially since at least two of them have a history of rejecting foreign rule.

And if things in the Six Kingdoms are actually going to be good and just and all that, then why is it necessary for the North to secede? They could just stay and be ruled over by the legal heir to House Stark and continue to reap the benefits of easy trade with the more winter-resistant kingdoms. The happiest years of Sansa's life were spent in a united realm, so what does she think this is going to give her? I'm pretty sure King Bran is how the books are supposed to end per GRRM, and my suspicion is that the showrunners wanted to upgrade Warden of the North Sansa to Queen Sansa in an attempt to dodge the accusations of misogyny naturally arising from the treatment of other female characters who aspired to rulership. This is empty pandering if I'm right, and I don't care for it.

So now we’re Calling D&D sexists misogynists because we’re not going to get the ending we wanted!!!

Cersei is playing men  like a fucking piano she’s using her fake pregnancy to get them to do what she wants( jamie prolly left brienne and went South to try to save her and their baby) euron would do anything for his future prince and tyrion dumbly believes that cersei can be trusted because of the supposed baby she’s expecting.

Sansa is the most powerfull person in the north she’s loved  respected by the northerners lords and they even  wanted her to be their queen because she’s absolutely  brilliant at what she does , she outsmarted littlefuckingfinger  killed ramsay the man who put her through hell( jon could have done it but he didn’t sansa did it herself like a Fucking G)

Arya stole the show in 8x03 she killed the Fucking night king who saw that one coming?! we all thought jon was going to kill TNK and we were Fucking wrong. She also had sex with gendry and then left him because being a lady isn’t for her she left him not the other way around.

Brienne won a fight against  the hound and she’s now a knight

Dany’s  been kicking men ass since seaon 2, jon gave up the north’ independence and now he’s giving up his birthright just to please her.

we also had margaery ollena catelyn…GOT writers are not  misogynists if anything they’re feminists the women are the ones who run shit in westeros .

Ep 4 Spoilers

Nope, I still think Jon is an idiot and an awful leader. For a military “genius,” who “cares” about his men, he sure as hell made another boneheaded mistake by not listening to Sansa, AGAIN, and sending out exhausted, recovering men on a long road journey in the cold where they will be expected to fight a battle where they’re outnumbered. And if his decision was to do that because he just wants to keep Dany happy, that doesn’t help his case.

And why do these people never consider there might be an ambush? Honestly, what do they think Cersei was doing all this time? Like wasn’t preparing? Didn’t Cersei destroy Dany’s fleet once before? I can’t take ANY talk about Jon or Dany being rulers simply because they’re so incompetent.

And they all but wrote in yellow highlighter, “Dany’s paranoid!”

I’m not sure I have much to say about this episode beyond that. I feel awful for Brienne. But not really surprised. I will admit the Bronn scene was pretty funny.

I do think Sophie Turner just brought it when Sansa was mourning Theon and I think Emilia Clarke did a nice job too. Varys was incredibly interesting to watch. His reminder that it was about the people was I think a reminder to the audience as well in that it’s not just about these handful of characters, but millions.

But you’re in trouble if the queen you’re following us thinking it’s okay to kill a couple of thousand people to get what she wants.
