.ೃ࿐ Well.. he doesn’t really know why that strange plant was up there in the first place. He’s heard of the tradition, yes, but who in the actual world put it there? They’re gonna receive a good scolding after this.

.ೃ࿐ After he glares at the mistletoe for a good minute, he turns his focus to you. Wait, hold on. Does that mean he could kiss you?

.ೃ࿐ He gets so smug about it, too. If you point out the mistletoe to him, he’ll just act as if he was oblivious to the whole thing. But if you don’t-

“Ah, what a troubling situation we’ve got ourselves in. Though, I’d feel I would be disrespecting this season if I were to not follow the tradition, don’t you agree?”

.ೃ࿐ Was probably just dragging you around to run from… something, really, when has he not been running from anything? /j

.ೃ࿐ While you two catch your breath, you notice something above both of you. Yep, ya guessed it. The awaited mistletoe! You gesture to it, looking at Mammon. He looked above you both, then looked at you back with confusion.

“I-It ain’t like I wanted to follow that stupid plant’s rules or anythin’! But… Guess there’s no helpin’ it if we’re already here.”

.ೃ࿐ You and him were just waiting around for the other to make a move. He saw this kind of stuff in anime and manga, he didn’t expect it to ACTUALLY happen to him though. While he’s nervously shuffling his feet, you assure him that he wouldn’t need to if he wasn’t comfortable with it.

“NO- I mean… It’s bad—no, NO, It's not… Gah, I mean! It wouldn’t be so bad if you were the one I’d have to, you know…!”

“It seems we’ve been caught by this mistletoe. Would you like to follow the tradition with me? Only if you’d like to, of course.”

.ೃ࿐ Probably has a mistletoe in his pockets, so he could kiss you on-the-go. That little …

.ೃ࿐ He brings it out when he wants a kiss from you, waving it above both of you. He knows he could just ask for a kiss, but isn’t this method much more fun?

“Hehe, what a shame! We’re under the mistletoe! You know what that means, right, dearie~?”

.ೃ࿐ Beel was too busy wolfing down some roasted potatoes to notice, so you had to point it out to him yourself.

OM: New Event System Guide

Firstly, unless Solmare change their mind, the new mechanic introduced in the current event is intended to be permanent.

This is how events will function from this time forward, from the Celestial loot boxes to the lack of SSRs in the event Nightmare.

My guide for the new events is one step long and very simple:

DON'T.

Events in the new system no longer have rewards. Instead they have prizes available via loot boxes, a type of gambling.

Loot boxes are required in most legal systems to list their odds of each item - even if those odds are equal. Solmare has not done this and risks the game being pulled from international app stores as a result.

If the odds are indeed flat, your chances of getting the first character SSR (Simeon) is 1 in 250, as each box has 250 items. You have to get that card twice in order to open the next box.

To get the SSR costs up to 125,000 points.

Versus the old system, 100,000 for the SSR.

To get the demon UR costs 500,000 points.

Versus the old system, 285,000 for the UR.

The number of battles remains the same - 83 per day if the extra battles via adverts are available.

The base reward per battle is 120 points.

The base daily total is 9960.

The base event total is 119,520.

ie, not enough for the SSR.

(This is a keyed event so the base event total will be lower than this in fact.)

The event Nightmare contains no SSR or SR cheat cards, only URs.

The odds of pulling an event UR do not change regardless of increasing or decreasing the number of URs.

The odds remain at 0.5%, ie an average of 1 UR for every 200 pulls.

This means your chances of having a higher battle total due to cheat cards is far lower than in previous events.

The only way to get higher odds is to use a UR voucher. You can try and win one for just 625,000 points ಠ_ಠ

The loot boxes contain more prizes in terms of backgrounds, icons, and random items, as well as AP, DP and DV.

However, your chances of getting any of these is far small (1 in 250 per box), rendering most of the prizes useless, and opening the next box dependent on you earning up to 250 openings of the previous box.

By the way, the Charge Missions this time around are also more expensive - anything from $200-400 depending on your currency - and no longer count level up sales or spending DP towards the totals.

Only purchased DP counts.

tl;dr

In order to get the Diavolo and Lucifer URs you will have to earn up to 1,000,000 points.

Your odds of getting any one prize are 1/250.

Not listing odds of loot boxes is legally and ethically dubious and misleading.

It is possible to do 200 pulls and get only one UR.

This is the planned event mechanic going forward - without the 100 (x2) free pulls.

There is no guaranteed card prize for ftp players.

Finally, please be aware that loot boxes are GAMBLING.

Obey Me has gone from a game that included one element of gambling via gacha, to a game that is solely reliant on gambling.

Nightmare is gambling.

Event prizes are gambling.

Gambling without odds listed is horrifically irresponsible.

Gambling games are NOT SUITABLE for minors.

People with adhd, anxiety, depression, and so forth are all at higher risk of falling prey to spending spirals and gambling addiction.

Riddle takes great pride in the fact that his girlfriend is a woman of immense skill in the visual arts. He feels proud when he overhears other boys talking about her, and feels somewhat jealous when she reciprocates their compliments with a coy smile. While he's happy that she's admired and respected by the school populace, she's his beloved rose and he'll make sure everyone remembers that.

Trey, Cater and the ADeuce duo would beg her to drop by Heartslabyul whenever Riddle is in a bad mood. Her soothing voice and touch are capable of easing him out of his rage, so the moment she steps foot in the dorm, everyone breathes a sigh of relief.

As a former entertainer back in her world, she naturally pays extra attention to Riddle. Whenever he needs to de-stress, he would send a text asking her to see him in Heartslabyul for a private, one-on-one tea party. He'd spill his frustrations to her and she would listen to him with an attentive mind. If she offers to perform a song to help him clear his head, he'd eagerly accept it with a grateful smile.

He would often catch her entertaining others with her dances. There was a time when he couldn't find his staff anywhere in his room and as he went to the lounge to check, he saw her showing Grimm and the ADeuce duo how to do one of her dances with his staff as her prop. She spun his staff around her hands while twirling slowly and then tossed the spinning staff in the air, kicking it twice with her left heel before gracefully catching it in her left hand and ending the dance by striking an elegant pose.

Riddle wasn't able to take his eyes off her during her little demonstration, and it wasn't until Ace yelled his name in surprise did he snap out of his trance. Ace and Deuce were clinging to each other as if the room was sinking, and she was gazing at him with a sheepish smile as she nervously held his staff. Sighing audibly, he then held his hand out and beckoned her to hand it over to him while saying, "Expect to receive your punishment after classes, (y/n)."

Just looking at her is enough to make his irritation dissipate, and Leona is absolutely smitten with her but outright refuses to let it be shown on his face. His flicking tail betrays his usually sullen expression though, and she would teasingly point it out to him with a giggle. “You must be very happy to see me, Leona~” “... Dunno what you’re on about, herbivore.”

This grumpy lion was one of the first victims of her charms, and he also ended up being the one to claim the treasure. He soaks up the attention she gives him like a sponge and exhibits a more childish behaviour whenever someone else manages to steal her undivided attention.

Leona knows that she's pleasant to look at with her pale red eye shadow and rouge lips, because even he can't stop himself from staring at her pretty face when he's using her as a lap pillow. He can get quite possessive of his girlfriend though and will growl at anyone who dares to even glance at her... Unfortunately, she had gotten herself into a contract with Azul and works as a part-time entertainer in Mostro Lounge. That octo-punk is hell-bent on keeping her tied to his business upon seeing a significant increase in customers after one performance from her.

Leona was banned from ever stepping foot inside Mostro Lounge after he beat the crap out of a group of Heartslabyul students who got too close to her for his liking, and he even picked a fight with Riddle when the latter reprimanded him for his barbaric behaviour towards his dorm members. If it wasn't for her stepping in to break up their fight, a civil war between Heartslabyul and Savanaclaw would have broken out in NRC.

Leona once saw her teaching Ruggie one of her dances in Savanaclaw's lounge. Watching her put her hands all over the hyena didn't sit well with him, and when he couldn't take it anymore, he strode over to rip her away from a surprised Ruggie before dragging her to his room. She had to deal with a sulking lion for the rest of the evening.

Compared to the cheerful and excitable Kalim, she's a breath of fresh air and Jamil can always count on her to help him relax after a particularly stressful day.

He acknowledges her talent in the visual arts and is proud to call her his. Although they have very different styles in music, he cherishes the small moments where she'd pull him away from his chores just to sing and dance with him in the kitchen or in the lounge - depends on where and when she chooses to ambush him. He was no doubt uncomfortable with it at first due to his strong sense of responsibility as Kalim's servant, but he soon learnt to let everything go and focus on her when she decides to entertain him.

It's no secret that his girlfriend is loved by virtually everyone and Jamil can see why, given her natural beauty and grace. He tends to be possessive of her whenever they're walking together in the hallway - his grip around her shoulders would tighten when a random student compliments her, and he’d scowl when Ace and Deuce come running to her, begging her to bail them out of whatever trouble they had caused.

He's selfish when it comes to her. Since he never had anything to call his own from the time he was born, he doesn't like it whenever Kalim casually drapes himself over her like an overgrown child. He would always pull her away from Kalim the moment he sees it happening in front of him.

Jamil’s mood became sour when he caught her performing one of her dances for Kalim and the shared braincell squad. He watched her spin Kalim’s staff around her hands while twirling slowly and then tossed the spinning staff in the air, but before she could kick it with her left heel, Jamil had intercepted and caught it for her. His glare was enough to send Ace and Deuce running, and he returned Kalim’s staff to him while telling him to not treat it like a toy. Jamil only cheered up when she attended basketball practice after school as his personal cheerleader.

-Michelangelo is the youngest out of the four turtle brothers, so he was easily the most childish and energetic one, much to his older brothers' annoyance.

-He was loud yet small. Just a few inches shorter than you. A social butterfly, but can be oblivious to most things.

-Mikey may not be the smartest turtle, but he does have own way of getting what he wants.

-And he has his eyes dead set on you.

-When he first realised his crush on you, he openly welcomed it with zero resistance. It felt great being in love so why should he deny it?

-He loves expressing himself so there was little to no filter when he's showing you his love.

-"(y/n)~!!!!" Mikey threw his arms around you "I missed you so much!!!!!" He cried in excitement rubbing his cheek on yours.

-You laughed at the youngest turtle and placed your hand on his head "Mikey! I just went for a glass of water!"

-"Yeah! But you took sooooo long so I still missed you!"

-He would be all over you. Wherever you go, Mikey is expected to be following close behind.

-Sometimes without your knowledge.

-Whenever his brothers weren't looking, he would slip by to your apartment to watch you sleep.

-But he did it to make sure you're safe! Don't worry!

-He would always be the first one to tackle you as soon as your foot entered the lair. Then proceed to trap you in a cuddling session with him for hours before anyone could get to you.

-"Oof--!"

-"Dibs on (y/n)!!!!"

-"Ow--Mikey!!" You groaned in protest.

-"No time to talk dudette! Look--" He held up a glowing flower watch "--it's hug time!"

-You squinted your eyes at the familiar looking gadget "Did you force Donnie to make you that hug-watch thing from the Trolls movie?"

-"Maybe~!" Mikey avoided your eyes "So hug time...?"

-Physical contact is his love langauge! Mikey's insides would be all mushy and gushy if you respond to them even the slightest bit. And if you return the favor? This little boy will melt into your arms!

-When you do ask him to let you go, he would just simply say "Nope!" popping the 'p' then proceed to tuck himself below your chin.

-"Awwh come on!!"

-Everytime he feels your soft hands scratching his shell, he immediately starts churring in delight. You thought it was cute, so you'd pat him in the head which made him even more happy!

-He can't help it! Mikey is just obsessed with how soft and plush you feel against his skin! He would definitely glue himself on you if you'd allow him to.

-"You are so squishy~!" Mikey mumbled against your shoulder while hugs you from behind for the nth time today.

-You flicked his forehead earning yourself a small 'ow' "And you are a big baby."

-You didn't mind his clinginess thankfully. It was just Mikey being cute as always. For real how can you resist this baby?

-He's loves it when you give your full attention to him. But if you're talking to someone else, he would just simply have an arm over your shoulders. Silently brooding towards the intruder, giving them a silent warning.

-If the boy isn't hugging you or initiating some kind of physical contact with you, he would be content holding the hem of your shirt or any kind of clothing you own (he may or may not have kept a few in his room that he may or may not have been using as a pillowcase to cuddle). Something that became a norm whenever he's at your apartment and you preparing both of your meals.

-Damn he loves your food! It was then only food he worships other than pizza! He especially loves watching you cook. Like an angel preparing to give him heaven.

-Speaking of Heaven.

-This orange fluff have TONS of pictures of you saved in his phone. If you ever made the mistake of sleeping in the lair, this guy is just snapping pictures of you in every possible angle. Sideways? Upside down? Close up? Bird's eye view? They all made you look perfect!

-His wallpaper is a selfie of you and him enjoying your home made chocolate icecream pizza that you made just for him. Aren't you just the sweetest? He considers that as your first date even though you two aren't official.... yet.

-I mean you made that treat just for him so it must mean that you return his feelings right?

-As time went by, his little crush for you grew into something more.

-You were starting to see his brothers and your other friends a little less and him and little more.

-It was just Mikey. Only Mikey.

-Just the way he likes it

-Everyday you'd wake up and find him cuddled up to you. When you ask him what he's doing he would just look up at you with his innocent baby blue eyes and say "But cupcake! I'm cold and you're suuuuper comfy~!" Cue those puppy dog eyes and you're 100% powerless.

-He would bring you all sorts of goodies like food, favourite drinks, movies, videogames--anything he could carry just for you!

You couldn't say that you didn't like the attention. Mikey is just so sweet especially whenever he brings little trinkets saying "They reminded me of you!" With that adorable freckled smile of his! It just makes you blush every time.

His innocent sweet smile just melts through your heart!

His brothers thought it was weird when he's always out and about after training and patrolling. But hey! The lair is a lot more quiet and Donnie doesn't have to worry about his stuff being broken anymore. Besides they knew you, you were a great friend so they trust you.

After a while you started to miss your friends. Having Mikey around was fun but you wanted to see what the other guys are up to these days.

One day you decided to visit everyone in the lair with pizza and had a great time chatting and playing with the turtle brothers. Oddly enough Mikey wasn't there.

But he was. Mikey was there. Hidden in the dark corners of the lair. Not even his brothers noticed him. His smile was gone. His eyes were dark as he kept himself one with the shadows, silent as a ghost.

He didn't like the way you were smiling with other people. Of course he was fine with letting you talk to his brothers sometimes, but still there were some boundaries to be made.

"Mine..." Michelangelo silently growls.

Although he doesn't favor this image of you with other people, he does take pride in the way your eyes would flicker to his bedroom door every now and then. Good. Very good.

Finally it was time for you to go. He immediately left. Time to take action.

When you got home you saw your favorite orange turtle curled up on the floor sobbing. Your heartached at the sight of the big crocodile tears falling from his face.

-You dropped down on your knees and asked him what was wrong.

-"I was waiting for you here all day b-but you didn't come home... you left me.." He cried miserably "I-I understand... if you don't want to h-hang out with me anymore... no one really wants to. I p-promise won't bother you anymore.." Mikey sniffed then left before you can get a word out.

-That was three days ago and you haven't seen Mikey since. He stopped visiting, stopped replying to your calls or texts. He was just gone.

-You realized just how much you loved having the small orange ninja around. Your home became cold and lonely. You started to miss him terribly.

-You went back to the lair, ignoring the others as you went straight for Mikey's room and knocked on his door.

-Mikey opened the door for just a crack. His eyes were red from crying. He looked absolutely miserable, but you pushed the door open and pulled him into a hug.

-You apologized to Mikey. You told him that it wasn't your intention to make him sad or feel neglected. That you loved having him around you.

-Mikey hugged you back of course. He closed his bedroom door to give you both privacy while you continued to hold him tight.

-He nuzzled his snout on your chest and told you he missed you too.

-Your soul ached when his shoulders started to shake. You placed your cheek on his head with your hand on his shell to calm your crying turtle.

-Except he wasn't.

-Mikey's smile was as wide as it could ever be. His eyes held a victorious sinister glow as he felt his entire body shake from excitement when he as in your addicting scent.

-Mikey was a good liar.

-He didn't mean to make you this sad. But he had to in order to make you come to him.

-And believe me when I say those three days of not seeing you was torture to him. Sure he had a folder full of your pictures saved on his phone (and his cuddle pillow) but it just can't compare to the real thing.

-But it was worth it though.

-He already had you right where he wanted you. He just needs to give you a little more push for you to confess your love for him and you two will be happy together forever!

-He knew he couldn't keep you to himself. You would surely retaliate if he forces you.

-But that doesn't mean he can't push you into making you claim him as yours instead.

-Oh how it feels so good to be in your love and care again!

-Mikey started churring as he pulled you even closer.

-Yeah Mikey definitely wasn't the smartest.

-But he's definitely the most cunning.

-And he would do anything to have you.
