I think the differences can be summed up like this.

Hermes knew Luke hated him so he ignored him and turned his attention elsewhere

Poseidon knew Percy hated him so he put as much effort into showing he cares as possible

Athena knew Annabeth lover her so she held that love over her head

Mitchell falls asleep as soon as he sits down in a plane. Like, immediately. If he has ever seen the safety speech it would be a miracle.

Despite having basically grown up on a plane, Connor always gets jittery during takeoff and landing. 

In fact, he has never been able to sleep on planes until he started travelling with Mitchell. 

And you can bet your ass he holds Mitchell’s hand the entire flight.

Mitchell prefers to sit in the window seat, because he never really went anywhere as a kid and likes to watch the clouds whenever he wakes up.

This drives Connor crazy because he CAN NOT sit anywhere but the aisle.

So they compromise. Somehow Connor always manages to find them seats where the window seat is open. 

Mitchell isn’t sure if he wants to risk asking how he does that when literally every other seat on this flight is taken. 

The year is 1767. Apollo and Hyacinthus are going on a date at Salzburg University Gymnasium and seeing Mozart's opera “Apollo et Hyacinthus”.

My roman empire is that I totally believe Miya twins have matching tattoos, they get them before moving out, so whenever they miss each other, they would rub their tattoos and let themselves be comforted 😭

It could be cute little foxes holding volleyball and onigiri, or omg maybe the moon and sun matching tattoos because they actually complete each other. I imagine them on their wrists cuz they would subconsciously keep rubbing it :((((

first of all, where is the romance. they have all the banter and none of the cutes (except in the like, what, one/two scenes calypso tells someone not to attack leo in toa? i barely even remember)

they have totally different things they want in life

calypso wants to finally live it. she's spent so long on that gods forsaken island isolated, and she now finally has a chance to actually do shit !!! be a contributing member of society !! figure out who she is, what she wants, what to do with the rest of her life !!!

leo is finally done running. he's found his home: the waystation, chb, piper, not-dead-jason. he deserves to rest after everything he's been put through, and so he will; live life comfortably, finally stay in one place, have a stable family with unconditional love he so needs !!!
