rick's books have a not-okay amount of racism, perpetuation of harmful stereotypes, and misrepresentation in them. grow up and accept it. rick's a white man who does not understand what it is to be a poc or a minority or lgbtq+, the least he could have done was his fricking research, but the truth is that he didnt and you need to deal with it. calling the people who are a) misrepresented in the books and b) accepting these facts, calling them haters is just on a different level of immature.

Hello besties. Since Ramadan is starting I’d just like to point out something about the “nsfr” tags. (It would be cool if y’all reblogged)

I’m not sure why those even started but they really go against the purpose of fasting itself. One of the very important aspects of fasting is self control and patience, muslims are supposed to live their regular lives while fasting and practice control over hunger or anger etc.

Thus, tagging food or drinks or maybe even nsfw content as “nsfr” doesn’t make sense, regardless of how cute it is to see non-muslims try their best to be super inclusive and make spaces more friendly. But just a psa for this year: it’s okay to post the same way as you do all year, this month is just our time to exercise patience:) !!

And if certain Muslims feel the need to really block certain posts for the day, they always have the option to block tags like “food” or “nsfw”.
