What if Nico went to Tartarus with Percy and Annabeth

Imagine them answering with the same response they gave for Bob.

The boy is already cursed, Why should we torture him further? You Percy Jackson have already destroyed his life.

Imagine them explaining that if percy never joined the guest, Bianca would have survived.

Imagine Percy fully expecting Nico to turn away, to leave him like he did all those years ago, he finally had proof, Proof that he was right to hate Percy.

Imagine Nico protecting Percy, unwavering as the arai tried to turn him over to their side.

Imagine them fighting in sync, like two parts of a well oiled machine.

Imagine a wounded Nico running to Annabeth's side as soon as all the monsters were dead.

Imagine him dragging a dying Percy and guiding a blind Annabeth through Tarturus 

Imagine him leading the way, Both he and Annabeth knowing full well he could leave them both and save himself and they would be unable to stop him.

Imagine him struggling with his own injuries but pushing through for Percy’s sake.

Now imagine them at the doors of death, 

Imagine Nico volunteering to sacrifice himself so that Percy and Annabeth could make it back.

Then Imagine them saying no

Imagine Percy refusing, saying he’d rather stay here than abandon him again

Imagine Annabeth begging him to come with them, saying we’ll find a way or they will stay here together.

Imagine them getting back

Imagine the seven hugging Percy and Annabeth

And Imagine them pulling Nico to the centre of it.

Nico headcanon

Nico would probably have scavengers hanging around him, such as crows and vultures since,

He is canonically said to smell like death which would be another factor to attract scavengers, (I heard there was a butterfly that was a scavenger or something), I feel like this would be really cool and it would be nice for Nico, (he is too traumatized he needs a little bit of happiness)

They both look extremely similar, in fact, if you give them the same hairstyle, they would practically look the same, the difference is that Nico is usually terrifying to be near or look at, but Bianca is nicer ( funnily enough Bianca is more introverted while Nico is an extrovert). But if you look Nico in the eyes and suddenly you both are best friends (you just can't resist the soulful eyes) and also they're colored like earth (brown but with highlights of Gold Green, and Purple mainly but a bunch of other colors, and really, really pretty. Also they change color depending on the closest and biggest Jewel/Mineral nearby). While Bianca's eyes suck in all the light and are dark pitch black, and she gives terrifying death glares. But when blindfolded or something looks extremely nice

one minute, off to go research fascist italy.

Been reading about 1930's Italy for a fic then something something back then, boys Nico's age were trained to become soldiers, pledge their loyalty and all that.

It got me to thinking that MAYBE part of the reason why Nico likes Mythomagic so much is because something in him remembers how it felt to strategize and to win. Something like the thrill of observing and finding your enemies' weak points and knowing exactly when and where and how to attack.

C’mon, I’ll part the sea of enemies like moses and then I’ll say something annoying so gramps will do that eye twitch thing you like to make fun of, and then you run in with the chariot and the forces of the undead! Yes? Does that sound good? Then persephone, you roll your eyes as if you were bored, and turn all their weapons into whatever allergy-inducing flower you like, yes? Demeter you... just no cereal. Nico dies (not really) au

Bianca and Reyna beg him to come with them, but he can only say no a body needs a would and a soul needs a body, that's the difference between ghosts and souls, ghosts are untethered and free, souls are not.

His body rests under the earth stuck, in his fathers domain, but out of his reach. young, only 13 once again not allowed to grow

they sit with him sometimes, when they are free. they stares into his lovely, angelic face, when he'd been here with them in body they hadn't appreciated just how young and innocent he looked, how he would never age alive, but dead. how if he had been allowed to grow as normal he would have been 90, 100. or even just grow after the lotus casino, he would have been 20, but no he would be forever 12-13.

Bianca chose to remain young, he didn't another, one of his many sacrifices. Bianca was allowed to roam, to play , to be with friends, to be young and free. she lived the first part of her life as her brother's second mother and the rest free. Nico was stuck, with no-one to talk to, he was young but not free, stuck in that one spot, he spent the first part of his life free and the rest stagnant.
