That is so smart!
Nico's nickname is niccolo piccolo,
The SS Warrimoo, a passenger steamship traveling from Vancouver to Australia, was silently knifing its way across the mid-Pacific waters. The navigator had just finished calculating a star fix and handed the results to Captain John DS. Phillips.
The Warrimoo's coordinates were LAT 0º 31' N, LONG 179 30' W. The date was December 31, 1899. "Know what this means?" First Mate Payton announced, "We're only a few miles from the intersection of the Equator and the International Date Line."
Captain Phillips was prankish enough to seize the opportunity to do the nautical feat of a lifetime. He summoned his navigators to the bridge to double-check the ship's position. He altered his course slightly to focus directly on his target. He then altered the engine's speed.
The calm weather and clear night worked to his advantage. At midnight, the SS Warrimoo rested on the Equator, exactly where it had crossed the International Date Line. The ramifications of this odd arrangement were numerous.
The ship's bow was in the Southern Hemisphere, in the middle of summer. The stern was in the Northern Hemisphere, in the midst of winter. The date on the aft portion of the ship was December 31, 1899. The date on the forward half of the ship was January 1, 1900. The ship experienced multiple days, months, years, seasons, and centuries simultaneously.
That would be adorable, glad my Italian lessons have finally paid off!
Nico's nickname is niccolo piccolo,
They both have powers ove eachothers "domains" but the reason they don't use it is because of mental blocks
Hazel doesn't control the dead, and shadows (as much as nico) because it reminds her too much about her time in the fields, but she can control them
Nico has just never tried and built up a sort of mental block , so he can't do it but he theoretically could control them if he wanted, as shown in the titan's curse, and the battle of the labyrinth
This. This is my new headcannon
Sometimes, it’s hard to interact with Nico. Even Hazel has to admit that. No, it’s not his father, no, it’s not how he chants the names of the dead, well at least not for Hazel, no. It’s how the souls cling on to him, like he is the anchor in the wild sea. When he laughs, sweet as nectar, it is like you can hear the joy of the spirits with him, as if they’ve heard that they can return just one more time, to apologize, to say their goodbyes, to say “it’s not your fault” and “I love you” When he sobs, you hear the wails of the souls in the Lethe, alone, forgotten. You can feel the pain of the tormented, the Acheron spilling from his mouth. His rage is unkempt, rage like the souls in Punishment, rage like Achilles who sits by the Styx, rage of the many souls who never got a life they truly lived. It’s not his fault. You know that. Hazel knows that. Everyone does. But when he speaks, and his voice mixes like wine with the voices of the ones you loved, the ones you cherished, you have to turn away. No wonder the boy stopped speaking. What torture would it be, to hear his sister when he spoke? Or his mother when he cried? How painful.
6 zoo myths that arent true
If bianca lives I want her to somehow or the other be there for nico, as the over protective older sister
Examples include,
the battle of manhattan/the final battle, and Nico arrives with the skeleton army, and the 3 gods, and bianca is just like, "well little brother you may be 12 now, but you'll always be my little brother"
When Nico revives Hazel ( in this au, he is trying to revive his mother), bianca and hazel talk, (hazel is 2 years older than bianca and 4 years older than nico), they debate who is actually older, but eventually they just bond over making fun of nico for being the younger brother
For the labyrinth thing, in this version nico is just outcasted and/or ostracised by the camp so he runs away and is found by Minos, it follows a similar plot as the actual book, but this nico is not bitter, he just thought minos was a genuinely nice/helpful ghost and was helping him, but when bianca finds out minos manipulated nico she goes beserk (nico is still the ghost king tho),
after the tartarus and Jar incident, she is mad at the 7 (minus hazel) for ever doubting her brother
then when nico almost fades after the athena parthenos incident, she's mad at reyna + the seven, but does eventually forgive them, but not forget
and after he jumps into tartarus a second time, she doesn't even know who to be mad at, she's just mad at both of them
Now, I'm imagining everytime she wants to find Nico she digs her hand into a shadow and pulls out nico
Reblogging so I don't forget
If there was a way to run SUPER MEGA AD BLOCKER on this website I fucking would
i feel compelled to reblog this
good things will happen 🧿
things that are meant to be will fall into place 🧿
:) I love Bianca, Nico and hazel
But also... Someone responded to my post!
They both look extremely similar, in fact, if you give them the same hairstyle, they would practically look the same, the difference is that Nico is usually terrifying to be near or look at, but Bianca is nicer ( funnily enough Bianca is more introverted while Nico is an extrovert). But if you look Nico in the eyes and suddenly you both are best friends (you just can't resist the soulful eyes) and also they're colored like earth (brown but with highlights of Gold Green, and Purple mainly but a bunch of other colors, and really, really pretty. Also they change color depending on the closest and biggest Jewel/Mineral nearby). While Bianca's eyes suck in all the light and are dark pitch black, and she gives terrifying death glares. But when blindfolded or something looks extremely nice
