I commissioned @geetimesthree for this lovely Miami/Cop Rick piece! They are having a nice coffee date in the Citadel :) I really love the background in this!!! I imagine this as a cover for a comic.
Doc and Cy's relationship is so sweet :')
They've known each other for a long time and have been through so much together. I wrote some backstory to their relationship under the break:
Doc is demisexual (me tooo); he thought he was going to be alone forever and he was alone for many years. He had just accepted he was ace when he tried a bit of dating after he and his Diane divorced. He felt awful he couldn't give her what she wanted and having Beth didn't fix their relationship. So he just ran away like Ricks do.
Much later in his life he helped Cy when he found him almost dead. Doc started helping him become more human again and fell in love. He was so confused because it was feelings he hadn't had before.
When Doc's Morty gets killed Doc loses his mind to the point where Cy has to cut off their relationship because of how dangerous and unstable he becomes. Doc already struggled with mental illnesses his whole life and the event just broke his mind more.
Eventually when Doc was able to stabilize more he and Cy cautiously get back together. It is hard and they both have a lot of emotional problems but they are healing together ;u;.
Doc isn't part of the Rick polycule and is very jealous initially. But he sees how happy Cy is now and that makes him understand. Found family and healing are big themes of the writing and roleplaying I do.

“Hey— quit touching everything.” Prime grabbed Rick’s hand. “Here.” He picked up the orange and cream coloured planet between his fingertips. “Open.” And Rick’s mouth parted obediently at the command. .... “This one’s for us.” He leaned in placing his lips on the sphere too, suspending the planet between them. “For when you inspired us to develop portal tech.” Rick removed his fingers and pressed the green orb into Prime’s mouth— they bit down together, consuming the planet, kissing through the debris and swallowing down chaos.

Been thinking about Miami/Cop stuff again and these ideas wouldn't leave my mind
Look, I try to make something of an upload schedule and today is not the day, but I woke up this morning and only then realized, it's Valentine's Day. I don't care, but I wanted to thank/welcome all those new followers anyway. So I put together a collage of some very romantic sketches. So, thank you and welcome! (wouldn't it be funny if you just wanted to leave now, seeing this? lol)
I also thought, those shoes and stockings on surgeon Rick are just a joke/wishful thinking of you guys, but this being canon is also a thing I only now leaned. So, Happy Valentine! <3
