Just don't mix cleaning chemicals unless you've done research tbh

tiktok has me STRESSED with their “cleaning aesthetic” vids, so here’s some things you should NOT mix when cleaning, and keep in mind that these can be components in cleaners that should not be mixed (for example, windex usually has ammonia in it and thus should be treated the same way):

bleach and vinegar: creates chlorine gas

bleach and ammonia: creates chloramine gas

bleach and rubbing alcohol: creates chloroform, hydrochloric acid, and chloroacetone

bleach and toilet bowl cleaner: if you’re using an acid-based toilet bowl cleaner, combining it with bleach will create chlorine gas 

bleach and mold or mildew stain removers: acid-based stain remover=same as above

bleach and oven cleaners: many oven cleaners contain sodium hydroxide, which creates chlorine gas when combined with bleach

bleach and lysol: chlorine gas once again

(really just never mix bleach with anything other than water) (please stop fucking around with bleach)

drain cleaners: if you use one drain cleaner, do NOT follow it up with another. follow package directions on the one you’re using. you could cause an explosion that could also blind you if it gets in your eyes. 

hydrogen peroxide and vinegar: you can spray these on the same surface and wipe down in between and make sure it’s dry before applying the other, but don’t combine them in one container bc you’re going to make peracetic acid. 

surface cleaning powders: products based on oxalic acid-based cleaners (Bar Keepers Friend) and products based on trichloroisocyanuric acid (Ajax/Comet powders) create chlorine gas

good rule of thumb: always stick to one cleaner per surface/item that you’re cleaning to avoid interactions

My Birthday Gift This Year is Homelessness

My mum’s kicking me out of the house lmao, along with my fiancée and our cats. It’s a long story that I won’t give the details of publicly, but essentially if we don’t find a place ASAP we’re gonna be on the streets.

I’m disabled and cannot work, and my fiancée has been searching for work since she moved in with me last year. We are living on benefits and have been living in my mother’s house because it’s been hard to find a place that will take us (Two unemployed 20 year olds with cats).

We need help. Serious help. There is very little I can offer, but what I do have is some art skills. I’m willing to draw art for money. it just registered to me that i might be physically disabled, but im scared to say it outloud

my dad has EDS and i have all the syptoms, just less seveare, ive spent over an hour in the bathroon about to cry in pain, my shoulders almost constantly ache, one time a few years ago it got so bad so suddenly i felt like something was broken, for a couple days, my wrist and ankle amost are always just, uncomftable and ive been so nauseos i couldnt sleep all night cuz i was dry heaving because i got slightly sick, i use my dads topicle pain medicine on my wrist consistently and ocantially shoulders, hell ill get nausos if i drink to much to fast

but im still scared to say im disabled because unless its a flair up i can do most things (or im being stoped for mental reasons not physical),

but ive had times where i couldnt breath becuase my girl scout troop was hiking to fast, i cough like im dying when im fine,

i just started using a wrist brace my parents already had for my right wrist and it helps so much, i might need to fing the one for the other wrist and i also might need to get ankle braces, but i feel as though im faking it even though i know im not

please someone help me feel a but better about this
