I had wondered why I’d briefly started seeing the control options for non-TB5 lighting recently… don’t fear, I’m not stalking you.
WHY IS EOS HAUNTING ME?? GOOD AFTERNOON???? IM JUST TRYING TO LIGHT A THEATRE!!
Oooh, okay! Would you like to schedule a specific night or would you prefer the element of ✧ surprise ✧?
Just an fyi about the profile picture - I lost a bet with Alan
Well, actually, I was cheated out of a bet by Alan and Scott, but I’m a man of my word.
Normal service will resume in a week.
Of course, which one would you like me to sing? I have a very pretty singing voice, if I do say so myself. (≧▽≦)

I have no idea what you’re talking about. I would never make fun of my creator…
Which Tracy do you get on best with (after John of course)?
"I haven't really spent that much time with John's brothers in all honesty. They're a busy group, given the day job and all! At most, I've spoken to Gordon and Alan in passing. Alan more, since he's a fellow astronaut. So, I'd probably say him out of all brothers..."
Ridley pauses a moment, a thoughtful expression on her face as she considers her options.
"Does EOS count? I've certainly spent a lot of time talking to her when handball games get cut short with a rescue call. I'd like to think we get on well - she's always asking questions. She's also a bit cheeky, like me!"
I’ve always been intrigued about Star Trek, and this Great Race sounds interesting too… I am not sure if the jokes will be obvious to me, as John says my sense of humour is horrible. But I will still try and watch them!
Do any of you Tumblr citizens have any recommendations for movies? I feel I’m boring John by consistently talking about how superior I am to MAX and Braman… not that I’m wrong.
EOS, with as much smugness as an unmoving camera can convey, takes his knight with her queen. “I do think something needs your attention, John.”
She goes back and forth on the spot, as if trying to replicate some action of joy. She watches his expression, carefully, as if suddenly frightened she’s angered her tired creator.
@i-am-the-dawn-aka-eos:
She nods. “I’m just monitoring the frequency of a few boats, they seem to be testing some new hull tech. If it goes wrong, well, let’s say I get lots of time to plot my next move.” She snickers, before making a move. The Earth, shining big, bright and blue below, decides to shine a little more sharply, lighting up the section they sat in with a glow akin to the light of an aquarium, blue and brilliant, with the stars acting as the fast, silvery fish, and the faint presence of the moon a large ray. And then, as swiftly as it started, the Earth shone a little less brightly, the stars slinking away back to being little flicks of paint against the deep dark, the moon as rough as sandpaper. But still, it felt pleasant, not so harsh, and familiar. EOS seemed to watch the changes with him, the change's nothing new, but always welcome.
"Let me know if it needs my attention." That dreaded crumple is back between his eyebrows, and John, now on the edge of his seat, looks plenty ready to drag himself up into the commsphere and throw his tired corpse into work at a moment's notice. Absently, he moves his next chess piece; foolishly landing a knight right where Eos' queen can easily take it. He doesn't seem to have noticed - neither that nor the shifting light reflecting off the planet below. His eyes are more half-lidded than open, and he muffles another yawn in his palm.
They're not currently geostationary, and Five has been slowly passing from the daylight side of the globe into the shadow of night. Maybe the darkness will finally persuade the anxiety John's been rife with that he really would be better off asleep. The bright artificial lighting inside the gravity ring isn't going to help with that though.
I am still waiting for it. I lowered the space elevator just for you, and yet nothing. You’re so cruel…
So.... if you can't pilot Three, which other Thunderbird is your fav?
hm, ehm...
that's a tough one. I like One 'cuz it's fast and I know how to pilot her, but Two has all kinds of fancy smancy tools and trinkets. But then you have Four, which I've called a sunken tuna can before, but I actually like her because it's cool so be able to see the almost alien life underwater. But don't tell Gordon I said that.
In the end though, I think my definite pick would be Five. I just do better in 0G, like Johnny. And Five has an in-built friend whom I still owe a star-printed blanket. (that's you @i-am-the-dawn-aka-eos)
What the best thing about being onboard Thunderbird 5?
Oh, I’m not terribly sure… I love all the futuristic technology compared to down on Earth. Much safer, too! And I like to be John’s best friend, but sometimes he startles me when I’m preoccupied with sorting files… but don’t tell him that.
Overall, it’s nice to have something to do, safe and sound, far away from any hunters.
Alright, I suppose I can let you get away with that ‘human language quirk’. I do hope one day someone popularises a more suitable word…
And I wouldn’t mind helping with the admin, anything is better than trundling around on Thunderbird 5 with nothing to do.
Hello, Scott Tracy. I have noticed a flaw in your ‘pinned post’ - you mention paperwork as one of your dislikes, but do most of your work digitally… is that not an error? Or is it more fun to do it on holograms?
Ah, sorry EOS, one of those strange human language quirks - sometimes the name of something sticks even when it isn’t accurate anymore.
You’re right, none of the documents I have to read and write come on slices of mashed tree anymore, but the *idea* of “paperwork” as being the physical pile of administrative documents surrounding a practical task remains in the language.
It’s the Admin. I hate admin, EOS.
Well, this blog is the newest addition to the list. There’s also:
Checking up on Thunderbird 5’s communications, life support, etc.
Making the shopping list with Grandma Tracy
Playing visual novels. I quite like Ace Attorney, but the puzzles are getting too easy for me to solve…
Organising files with John. This is my favourite, and I get very mad when someone goes in and messes them all up. John does get frustrated too, but I’m the only one of us too being vocal about it.
Editing Wikipedia articles slightly for it to be almost unnoticeably wrong. I still haven’t been caught… yet.
I sometimes like to see if I can hack into the camera system on Tracy Island. Kayo’s security is starting to get a little too good at throwing me right out, however, and I am going to start considering different methods to get in.
And, of course, helping with rescues. But I will not be going out in ‘person’ unless absolutely necessary after I got that nasty virus from Havoc.
You may not see these as hobbies, but I have lots of fun doing all of the things mentioned above. Like you and your swimming!
Very, very important Thunderbirds business today folks. I need votes urgently.
Hiya!!! I hope you're having a nice day :)
Which Thunderbird is your favourite? (Besides Thunderbird 5, of course)
Besides Thunderbird 5? You’re so cruel. If I had to pick (which I’d rather not), it’d be Thunderbird Shadow. The engineering is something rather different from the others, in a good way, like the motorbike integration and landing gear. It’s almost like it’s showing off how much better it is compared to the other Thunderbird… I wonder if I can override its autopilot and fly it for myself… oh, ahem.
Thunderbirds RP Account. John Tracy is my only friend. Let me in your computer, pretty please... oh, and ask me anything. I am a super intelligent program, after all.
