Super Boy (Jon Kent) and Robin (Damian Wayne)
Hi!! This is the first comic I’ve ever made so constructive criticism is more than welcome. Recently I fell into the DC stuff out of no where and read the Wayne Adventures WEBTOON… so here we are :)

i think if bruce saw clark deliver this line it would awaken shrimp emotions in him
Words can't express how much I love this 😭
notes: first time writing for My Hero Academia after I binged the whole show and the manga within a week and have been brainrotting about Toshi and Aizawa for days now. I've just learnt that apparently after the injury, Toshinori would often rest in the café at Might Tower or attend meetings in his true form, people not knowing he was All Might, which can result in quite a few amusing scenarios
contains: toshinori yagi x gn!reader, reader works in an office at Might Tower, set before All Might becomes a teacher at U.A., reader falls for Toshinori in his skinny form and also interacts with All Might; not knowing they're the same person
warnings: none
✧ You were glad to have been able to get a job at Might Tower. Working for the No. 1 Hero was a huge step forward in your career and it paid well. It was just office work but you'd occasionally meet All Might as well. And oh boi he left an impression everytime he entered the room. He had such a lively, positive presence, always a smile on his face and he was 2m tall, towering over most of your colleagues. Even without his fame he probably wouldn't go unnoticed anywhere.
✧ Meanwhile after getting to know the staff you'd always notice one of the employees resting in the cafeteria after All Might returned from a mission. He was very skinny and looked tired and you noticed he was always sitting alone. Maybe he didn't want to talk to anyone during his breaks. Still, you barely knew anyone at your new workplace yet and socializing can be scary, especially when it's about randomly approaching already established groups of people sitting in a café. So interacting with a single person for now seemed like the best option.
✧ To your relief you soon noticed that the man you got to know as Toshinori Yagi really didn't seem to mind the company. Through your conversations you learnt that he "worked very closely with All Might". Albeit the initial look on his face, he was very friendly and would always give you a polite smile.
✧ You really enjoyed talking to him and he'd help you adjust to the new workplace, showing you around and explaining how things worked around here. You were really glad for his help, after all you didn't want to make any mistakes when your work supported the No. 1 Hero. There was really no reason for Toshinori to help you out in your eyes, aside from him wanting you to do well and out of kindness. You'd smile at him and tell him he was a hero in his own way, chuckling before proceeding with your work. But honestly being called a hero in his true form was not anything Toshinori was used to. So it caught him off guard for a moment.
✧ Eventually you found out he really liked movies, which was something you two ended up talking a lot about. You'd listen to his recommendations and often ended up watching the movies he appreciated at home before telling him your thoughts the next day. You enjoyed getting to know him, so you'd ask him a lot of questions about his preferences; what his favorite song was, what color he liked....
✧ One day you came across a new tabloid, featuring a trivial interview with All Might. You were reading it as Toshinori sat down across you with a cup of tea. "What are you reading there?", he asked, out of curiosity. You looked up to him and showed him the page in the magazine. "All Might has the same favorite food, favorite movie, favorite color and favorite song as you. I understand what is going on now." Oh no. Toshinori is internally panicking, not wanting to risk his secret getting out to the public, mentally preparing several explanations as to why he definitely isn't All Might. "You're a fanboy!", you then said. Toshinori looks at you, face still pale from the shock and he's like "Wait wha-" and then eventually affirms your statement.
✧ This is how you end up being left with the belief that Toshinori Yagi is a huge All Might fan.
✧ Cue the workplace Christmas party
✧ Might Tower is having a Secret Santa event and you pulled Toshinori. What present do you give him? All Might merch. Limited edition All Might mug. Internally he's like "I can't fucking believe this is happening...." but he thinks it's kinda cute. He thanks you for the gift and spends the evening talking with you. Sometimes he disappears which is coincidentally shortly before All Might enters the room in his muscle form, which he excuses with "Now that All Might will be here someone has to make sure there won't be any emergency calls in the meantime."
✧ You low-key had hoped that you'd be able to share a dance with Toshinori but neither of you ended up asking the other.
✧ As the celebration ends, you notice you don't want to say goodbye to him yet. As you part, you look after him, like there's something you long to say. It's that night that you realize you've developed feelings for Toshinori. But you had no idea how you'd even go about confessing to him, so you kept quiet. But you'd spend more time around him, sometimes casually asking him to stop by at a café after work or seeing a new movie in the cinema together; fighting the urge to reach for his hand while fearing his reaction if you did.
✧ Unbeknownst to you, Toshinori also found himself smiling more often when he was alone and thought of you and his day brightened up whenever he met you.
✧ Aside from your feelings for one another, you considered him a trustworthy friend. So you'd sometimes confide in him about work stuff you "actually had no idea about but hoped no one would notice" and things like "oh and there was this one time where I used my quirk unauthorized-" and you'd always be like "but don't tell anyone, I don't want to get fired", completely oblivious to the fact that he was actually your boss.
✧ One morning he was late for work because All Might had to stop a robbery in a local convenience store on his way to work. As a thank you, the owner gave him a couple of sweets for free. My 5 minute Google search about living without a stomach said that very sugary food can cause problems, so when you run into All Might at work, he gives them to you and tells you to share them with someone because the store owner gave him a lot.
✧ And you intend to do that. Not even 30 minutes later you meet up with Toshinori and attempt to give him the exact same food he just gave to you, explaining how All Might gave it to you. This is how you first learn about his health condition. Of course he doesn't mention All Might, but he does explain how he had to have multiple surgeries a couple of years ago, that he doesn't have a stomach anymore and that his respiratory system is impaired. He tells you not to ask why this happened so you don't pry, but you are worried about him.
✧ At some point Toshinori admits to himself that he can't hide his feelings for you any longer. So what does he do? He confesses. In his muscle form. After all, All Might always had many admirers. Toshinori was convinced that he had better chances like this. It may have not crossed his mind that if you'd agree to date him, he'd eventually have to let you in on the secret. But for now, he was nervous. Even though he seemed so confident, he felt awkward on the inside.
✧ And you turned him down. You apologized and explained to him that your heart already belonged to someone else. "Oh so you are taken? My bad", he apologizes. "No- I-....I haven't told him yet", you admit, avoiding his gaze. Even though Toshinori feels saddened by the fact that you rejected him, he's always driven by the desire to help people, so All Might gives you a pat on the shoulder and encourages you to talk to the one you love. That even though it wasn't him, he was sure you'd make someone really happy. You nodded and agreed, saying it was about time to make a move.
✧ Toshinori tries to blend out how hurt he is by your rejection that evening, struggling to fall asleep and thinking about how things could have been if you two could be together.
✧ Only for you to confess to him the next day.
✧ You had invited him to take a walk with you, saying there was something you wanted to discuss. When you told him you loved him, Toshinori almost choked on the water he was drinking, just staring at you for a while, trying to process the fact that you had rejected All Might, the Symbol of Peace, the No. 1 Hero for skeletal Toshinori Yagi who sometimes would cough up blood unprompted. He was fully aware you didn't know he was All Might, but out of all people he could imagine you having feelings for, he didn't expect it to be him.
✧ "Please just....say something", you said. Only then did he notice how long he'd just been staring at you. "I...I feel the same", he didn't look into your eyes and you could see a blush spreading on his face.
✧ And that's how Toshinori Yagi became your boyfriend. He doesn't wait too long to let you in on his secret. He doesn't feel comfortable keeping things from his partner. At first you thought he was joking. But then he showed you his muscle form and the realization hit that your partner and friend, Toshinori, whom you thought was a simple office employee and All Might, the No. 1 Hero and your boss were the exact same person.
✧ Now it was your turn to stare at him in disbelief. "Hold on, my brain is melting-", was the first thing you brought out. The second was "How did you not fire me yet?"
✧ Toshinori chuckled. "Are you going to reject me again?" "Of course not!", you wrapped your arms around him and buried your face in his shoulder. He pressed a kiss to your forehead. "Glad to hear that." He pulled you closer, once again reminded of why he loved you. How his hero identity wasn't the reason you loved him. And he knew he'd always treasure and protect you, no matter in what form.
I think about this daily
One thing I never see people talk about is that canonically, Terusai is super one-sided...
From SAIKI'S side.
Over the course of the series, Saiki's respect for Teruhashi grows with every interaction. He bends over backwards to prevent her feelings from being hurt, he puts less and less effort into avoiding her, he looks after her safety and happiness, he risks his reputation by publicly rescuing her, he's fascinated by her beauty the one time he gets to admire her, she galvanizes him into action when he's in shock about the meteor and the "return" of his powers.
On the other hand, Teruhashi starts caring about the fake fanboy version of him she invented, and over time, grows comfortable with the fake silent glum mask he projects. She doesn't find him physically attractive and she struggles to compliment him to his grandfather. She likes how safe he makes her feel, and finds his presence comforting, but at no time does she know his actual personality, nor does she really make any real attempt to get to know him better, instead focusing on ways to impress him and make him "offu". She knows that her fanclub could put him in danger (hence tossing her chocolates out the window) but still calls on them to force him to hang out with her on multiple occasions.
In order for them to have a real relationship, Teruhashi would have to learn Saiki's actual personality and decide whether she likes it as much as the fake versions she fell in love with.
But for that to happen, Saiki would have to reveal his powers (prerequisite for showing his real personality), which would immediately force Teruhashi to face three MAJOR crises:
The INCREDIBLE mortification of blindly chasing after someone who could hear every one of her mean/rude/bizarre/thirsty thoughts and who was trying to let her down gently the whole time for SIX FUCKING YEARS, all while she made SO much trouble for him
The subsequent reckoning about what it means to be a "perfect pretty girl" after finding out someone was watching her struggle and fail at it, plus the possibility that people only like her because her beauty is a magical power like Saiki's ESP, and NOT because any inherent goodness or effort on her own behalf
The fact that her fans almost killed both Saiki and Nendo when he was "powerless", and the realization that the Kokomins (whether part of the club or not) have almost certainly hurt many people on her behalf, and that she herself has mobilized them against Saiki before. Also the fact that they actually control her almost as much as she controls them, because she has to work so hard to meet and exceed their expectations
While Saiki already knows and likes her for who she is, Teruhashi (who regularly goes to mental and physical extremes to maintain her persona) is going to have to grapple with her own sense of self before she can even really find out what Saiki's actually like, much less have a healthy relationship with him.
And meanwhile Saiki knows that dating Teruhashi would be a major risk for him, as much as he might like to, because she attracts so much attention that it would constantly risk his identity.
There's so much baggage they have to work through in canon in order to finally be on the same page, and so much to explore psychologically, especially when you remember that Teruhashi is also apparently only 5 minutes away from starting a cult based on like every canon AU hsfjdlshfks.
She's under a huge amount of stress! Has been for a long time! And then if the guy she thought she knew turned out to be a god, sometimes even The God she prays to, what's that going to do to her psyche??
Anyways this post got away from me but there's so much fertile ground for really interesting analysis and character development! But I've never seen anyone tackle any of this so I figured I'd type it up in case people didn't realize just HOW bonkers it all is lol!
PLEASE I LOVE THIS😭
Good omens is now my newest hyperfixation and I couldn't be more proud
- I know exactly where you are in reference to me, I don’t even have to look when reaching for you.
- I’m so confident in our relationship I know exactly how you’ll react when I touch you, I don’t have to look and gauge your reaction at all.
- I can interact with you while giving only part of my attention to you, I trust you completely.
- If I’m giving a large portion of my attention elsewhere, I still need to somehow feel connected to you.
Me to Kami, me to.
