it’s called hypnagogia. the amount of times i’ve nearly shifted with this method is UNREAL.
hypnagogia is a state between wakefulness and sleep.
have you ever been watching a show/movie etc. and you keep dozing off to sleep and keep waking up, yeah it’s that.
usually in this state people hear/see scary stuff but it ain’t real
when you are on the brink of sleep, try not to move so you don’t get rid of that drowsy ness
lay in a comfy position and you can
say affirmations
visualisation
use 5 senses
listen to music that reminds you of ur dr
you will almost feel symptoms instantly because you have been detached from your CR and this makes attaching to your DR more easier.
this method really works litch tried it in school and felt my surroundings change but i got scared my teacher would snitch and woke up…
but hope this helps !
Ok, this

Everything else aside, you know what else is fucked up? How Athena let ECHIDNA, the literal MOTHER of all monsters and the freakin CHIMERA into her "temple". And for what? Annabeth "embarrassed" her??? By letting her demigod quest companion do what he wanted with HIS battle ruins??? AND SHE KNEW THERE WERE CIVILIANS???????
I am having such a hard time picturing me wanting to take the Gods' side in season 5. I just don't see it happening.
Another reason I'm practically Remus Lupin
remus: talking about feelings are important
remus: i won’t do it, but you definitely should
sirius:
So I read this one quote somewhere "And now I'll have to live longer remembering you than I did knowing you" and this hurts. Because Pads was sent to Azkaban after 10 years of them knowing each other. He was there for 12 years. So during this time, Moony lived longer remembering him than he did knowing him
Thank you for my new phobia
You know what panics my soul? The possibility of the Percy Jackson show not reaching its conclusion. Like, we're talking about five vastly different seasons, at least five years of allowing this show to run. And let's be honest, lately a lot of really good things have been getting cancelled. I mean, it doesn't even matter if you have the numbers anymore. I've mostly seen lots of people really excited for The Titan's Curse, which is not that far away, but still... there's a whole season in the middle that needs to be approved. For my part I really want to see The Last Olympian, as it's one of my favourite books ever, but I'm so damned scared of the possibility that all we're going to get is this one season. And it terrifies me how many people talk about future things, mainly Nico, as if they're a given. Because they're not. There's a real possibility we aren't going to be able to see this through.
Locke: Remember when I kissed Jude in the garden?
Cardan: I recall your mouth was on her. But her eyes were on me.
LIKE, woah. The possessiveness practically DRIPPING from his tone. Yes I know that we didn't hear hear it. But let's be honest, we all heard it loud and clear
When we finally make it to confirmed romantic Percabeth and Athena pulls the “I don’t approve of your relationship with my daughter” bs card, we’re going to watch Percy’s war flashbacks in real time a split second before he says the equivalent of “DISRESPECTFULLY, choke” as he proceeds to turn down godhood and launch himself into hell.
It didn’t hit as hard in the books but the tv adaption of the Echidna sequence? Athena punishing Medusa because of Poseidon and then punishing Annabeth because she can’t punish Percy? Percy “Annabeth would push me down a flight of stairs” Jackson uno-reversing and pushing her into the arch stairwell because he knows what sort of bullshit is it is to be punished for something you didn’t do by a [step]parent who’s made you desperate for their approval? We haven’t even made it out of book one and Percy has already shown Olympus just how much he does not care about them, but especially when it comes to the safety of his friends.
it seems that the entire percy jackson fandom is in agreement
out of all pjo/HoO characters…
who’s the most powerful: percy
who’s the most brutal: percy
who’s the most unhinged: percy
who has the greatest capacity for evil: percy
who’s the scariest: annabeth
You know the one scene from the movies that was added which the whole Fandom agreed was top tier? I feel like Percy driving is the same. People might hate everything about the movie/show but they can't deny how amazing the "Don't walk on my roof"/Percy honking at the speeding car scene is
I have just read the first book of The Folk of the Air called The Cruel Prince by Holly Black and I am shocked that Cardan is not the silly drunk boy that fans portray him in incorrect quotes. Here are my observations.
Cardan makes annotations in school textbooks that means he reads them and has questions. He knows court politics, its rumours and weaknesses. He sees a parallel between Jude and Alice in Wonderland. He has a passion for thievery, he even asks to train with Roach to become a pro. He is clever and talented and Jude thinks he is funny.
Besides, Jude is an unreliable narrator (with all due respect). I am sure Cardan is not drunk most of the moments she thinks he is
