i know we always joke about jude being mean to cardan all the time and cardan just being her simp (which, he canonically is hahaha) but I like to imagine that jude actually becomes unbearably soft and sweet with cardan. but only in private.
i like to think that jude remains the strong willed fighter that she has always been— until she gets home.
when she gets home, she sheds the mask, she sheds the part of her that feels like it always needs to be on the defensive, she sheds the fear.
when she gets home, to their room, she throws her arms around cardan’s neck and hugs him tightly, pressing soft kisses to his neck.
when she gets home, she feels completely safe to cry if she needs to, to tell cardan that she loves him, to be vulnerable, to be soft; safe to let cardan pull her into his arms as they lie in bed and he showers her with the affection she’s always craved.
in the quiet dark of their room, i like to think that they whisper their darkest secrets to each other, their fears, their hopes, their wishes.
i don’t know ;0;
i just want soft jurdan ;0;
brb running to my computer to write this
And we love his iconic ass
Annabeth: Someone has to stay back to slow her down and buy everyone some time. Help him down the stairs and get him to the river. And don’t stop. Not till you get to Hades, not till you have the bolt, do you hear me?
Percy:
People forget how adorable Annabeth is
Oh, thank goodness, I was hoping I didn't come across wrong. I was trynna have a literary debate if sorts I guess.
I'm not saying that Severus did everything out of obsession and revenge is a fact. I said that him being a dick is a fact. What I am saying about the revenge part is that one wouldn't have had to think too much to come to the conclusion that those were the reasons. And even if you did think about it a whole lot, you could still feel like that's the truth.
Also, I am saying that what he did for protecting Harry was an apologetic action towards Lily, not obsession. And I am not too sure about the obsession part because there is a very fine line between obsession and sincere love. And I totally agree about him blaming himself because if we pulled apart the sweater, the last wool string would lead to Severus.
You know, Harry never knew his father, not like many people get to. So he didn't have a single bad memory of him, and all that people talked about James was good stuff, him being dead and all, apart from Severus, but Harry had always viewed Snape from a somewhat wary/borderline hateful way, so obviously he didn't believe a word Severus said. Which lead to Harry believing that James was wonderful, which he might have. And with James being the sperm donor and all for Harry, Harry obviously felt a strong "connection" to him, therefore the naming. So, personally, what I think is him naming his son James isn't wrong at all, but neither his naming his son Severus (though I do kinda hoped that he had more kids to name Rubeus or Remus, I also I kinda wish that they wouldn't have been, like, 5th or 6th options)
I can see how it'd be kinda kinda unfair to have no one else be thankful to him, but , like, naming a child after them is no small thing. Like, it literally shapes the entire person accordingly. And, even if now Severus is dead, he will be remembered whenever anyone sees or hears tye whole name of Harry Potter, the Chosen One's second son, of Albus.
People get mad that Harry named his son after Severus. However I’m leaning more towards the fact that Snape did the most thankless job even after being mistreated all of his life by the people he was saving and working with and the only thanks he gets- the only time anyone has decided to remember a single thing he did- it’s when Harry is naming his spawn.
Severus is not even the spawn’s first name, it’s his second name. Oh yeah and he threw in some half-baked dialogue about how Severus was brave. Wow truly what a fucking treat, what an homage.
And people are complaining that he didn’t name his kid after Hargid (or Lupin I don’t think which is pretty sad and also thankless). And I agree, but instead of switching out Severus’s name, take out James’s.
He named one of his kids James Sirius Potter (which is just so cringe) and like my question is why? Sirius is perfectly understandable but why James? James has done absolutely nothing-and I mean-NOTHING for Harry apart from get compared to him and has basically acted as a sperm donor to Harry. No- not a father, because being a father actually requires raising ur kid- no James’s only merit is that he had a wizard messiah in his ballsack. Brilliant.
You know what devastated me about ep 6?
When we hear Nico yell "Bianca!" he sounds SO YOUNG!! My friend literally thought he was a little girl because of how young he sounded! He's 10! He's a 10 year old little boy yelling for his sister because she's the only person he knows in that big bright place! They're all alone and he's 10 and he's tiny and the worse has yet to befall him!! *sobbing on the floor*
Not only did Cardan send Jude a dress to match his own clothing in tcp, but out of the blue that night, he decides to dance with Jude. He doesn’t even wait for her and Locke to be done. And he says nothing that indicates he had a specific reason to talk to her. Read it. Chapter 20 TCP. He has nothing important to say to her, and he doesn’t mock her either. He just makes conversation in his Cardan way of doing so, while also getting the tiniest bit handsy.
Beautifully, he ends their conversation with, “Until we spar again.” As he departs, Jude says that Cardan “weaves unsteadily through the crowd”
Bitch… 🫢… we know damn well why them legs unsteady. And it ain’t the mf liquor.
Exactly, EXACTLY. I was so shocked

And why? All his life, baby only got "affection", admiration and attention only when he acts cruel, as seen the memory globe thingie.
And he‐ he knows that's how to get "LOVE"?? So like, the whole while he was cruel, really he just wanted attention? He just expected Jude to be happy about it like Asha was?? Baby Cardan really just chose the only "love language" he knee to try and impress the girl of his literal dreams?
And she still didn't seem to like him? What the hell?
there’s something about poseidon showing up for sally.
luke tells percy that they burn what they’ll miss most so that gods will know that what they’re saying is important so they’re really listen.
but sally burns ice cream. ice cream that she has no attachment to. it’s not even baby percy’s ice cream. it’s just random leftover ice cream that she grabbed from a pile of dirty dishes.
the ice cream could not be more unimportant to sally. in the grand scheme of things, the ice cream is nothing.
but poseidon comes to her anyway. he shows up immediately after probably the most lackluster offering sally could give. he shows up anyway.
just…there’s something about poseidon showing up for sally.
Hello, hi, so, I was thinking, like, wondering, in the season finale of season 5, we see that all the Miraculous had been given to their holders permanently, but earlier on all the identities of the holders had been exposed, so does that mean that all the holders, except Ladybug and Chat Noir, are revealed?
