Part 2 is coming soon ! I just have a couple pages to finish, and I wanted to post this already. I don't know if it's a good idea to post it in 2 parts, but I might upload the whole thing in one post once it's all done.

I wanted to draw my version of what happened after Jayce and Viktor were sucked into the rune. So many talented people have done this already, but I wanted to do it too, it's my way of coping with the ending 🥹

“Green,” Viktor says again, quieter this time, less a confession than a memory surfacing. “Not the Piltie kind. I mean moss. The kind that grows in gutters. The kind that fights for light. The underside of a leaf when the sun comes through it.”

Jayce nods like he's storing the answer in some careful place behind his ribs. Not for the Games. Not for a sponsor packet or interview card. Just for himself.

“Green suits you,” he says eventually, like it matters. And in the soft silence that follows, it does.
