Instructions

* Cut the opening to your cave.  Secure any flaps or reinforce your box with the packaging tape

* Poke holes in the box with the nail and push the lights through.

*  Finish your cave by draping material or a large blanket over the box.

🌼How to soothe a panicking age regressor🌼

To starts this off, imma regressor wiv Panic Disorder an Autism. Dese tips are for when your regressor is havin a panic attack or meltdown of any kind! An remember, each panic attack and meltdown is different. Even the same regressor might want different steps taken in different crises.

💬You gots to work out if your regressor wants to be held. In a panic attack, even a normally cuddly regressor might struggle and flail if touched. Ask them! They might nod or shake head. Might jus say “mm” tho. Dis one takes knowin your regressor, if you still arent sure after askin, try gentle touch an see if they come to you or shake you off or just stay listless. If they dont move or do come for cuddles, then proceed to respond how seems fit. Do not grab the regressor or make any sudden movements!

🍼Get them drink in a bottle, preferably somethin calmin and warm like milk drinks or hot choccy milk, or even teas like chamomile.

🐒 If trying to touch them earlier went wrong and they accidentally hit or kicked you while flailing, this is nobodys fault. Ive done it before an felt awful. Please do not punish the regressor now or later for this. Even if da rules say no hittin, this doesn count. They not mean to hit, i promise.

🔊Find out first if they wants sounds on, then put telly on with soothing show. Be ready to mute it if the regressor responds by shaking head, covering head, making unhappy noises etc.

🎶If there isnt telly in the room, see if the regressor responds to talkin or singing to them.

🥛The regressor might tell you to get out or go away. Theyre not being mean, they just cant handle people right now. Please go outside the room, and make them drink and/or a snack. Give it 10-15 minutes then knock on door and tell your smol that you have left these things for them. Even an isolating smol appreciates the effort, even if they dont respond well at the time, give em time alone an theyll come get the offerings when theyre ready and itll help as they come down.

😿If the regressor wants you in the room, but no touching or sounds, please just sit down and give reassuring smiles if they look at you. You can play on phone or read book or other quiet activity. Dont fall asleep if you can help it.

🐰This one is hard, but when they start to feel better theyre gonna come to you, and you might be upset because they yelled at you or accidentally hit you. Please know it was an accident and they didnt mean to lash out (if your regressor hits a lot or says absolutely awful things… thats abuse. Thats not what im talkin about here. When in a panic attack or meltdown, imagine youre dealing with a frightened rabbit). Do not try to “talk about the behaviour” or make them explain themselves. Theyll tell you why they panicked when theyre calm. Right now, theyre coming down and need comfort.

🦄When the smol is calm, try the television again, or a game or book. Something that doesnt require a lot of energy. Theyre very tired. They might go to sleep and thats fine too! Now is the time for letting them be calm and happy.

⚠If you want to talk about what happened, please wait at least a few hours. This gives them time to be calm and they probably want to say sorry too!

⁉If youre somewhere public, Try to get your smol somewhere private and proceed with the steps above. Even if its them sitting in the parking lot of a supermarket and you going to buy them a milkshake instead of the other steps, your care and effort is still amazing.

I hope these tips helped. Meltdowns and panic attacks can be hard to deal with, but i hope this list helps!

💙Blueberry Muffins💙

Ingredients:

¾ cup milk 🥛

¼ cup lemon juice 🍋

2 cups all-purpose flour 🌼

¾ cup sugar 💖

1 tablespoon baking powder 💚

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon 🌈

½ teaspoon salt 🌟

1 egg, lightly beaten egg 🍳

¼ cup vegetable oil 🥕

1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries 🍉

Preparation:

In a small bowl, mix milk and lemon juice; set aside.

In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Set aside.

Add egg and oil to milk mixture; mix well. Gently stir into flour mixture just until moistened. Fold in blueberries.

Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups two-thirds full.

Bake at 400 degrees F at 22-24 minutes or until center of muffin springs back when lightly touched.

Fun pretend games for regressors!!

1. Play doctor to your stuffies or dolls

2. Have one of your dolls open a vet clinic for your stuffies or animal toys

3. Use small toys to make a “store” for your stuffies/dolls (and maybe you) to “shop” at! You can even draw and make your own “money”!

4. Have a stuffie Olympics! Make obstacle courses and have your stuffies compete for medals (which you could make of course!)

5. Open a doll salon! Brush your dolls hair and braid it! Pick them out new outfits! Make them feel pretty and pampered!

6. Pretend you’re a royal or aristocrat ruler! What laws would you make? What would your royal clothes look like? Pick yourself out a royal outfit from your closet and make a crown! Maybe even use a blanket as a cape!

7. Make a blanket tent in your room and pretend you’re camping !

8. Pretend you’re on a safari or going to a zoo and all your stuffies are there! What animal is each of them? How many facts do you know about the animal they are?

9. Pretend you’re a fashion designer! What kind of clothes do you want to design? Maybe draw them!

10. Put on a fashion show with your dolls or stuffies or yourself! Pretend you’re a runway model!

11. Have a pretend tea party with your toys or stuffies!

12. Pretend you’re a pop star! Sing your heart out! Make up dances to the lyrics of your favorite songs! Make up your own lyrics!

13. Pretend you’re a teacher and your dolls/toys are students! What will you teach them?

14. Pretend you’re a world famous chef! Draw or make with play dough the foods you come up with as a chef!

How to make an edible version of Frozen Treat Set from Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Careful not to use it as furniture though, unlike the in game version it WILL MELT. Watch it in action here.

What You Need:

¼ cup sweetened condensed milk

1 TBL milk

Pinch of salt

Scant ¼ tsp blue drink mix, I like raspberry lemonade

½ cup heavy cream

1 drop blue gel color, optional

In a small bowl, combine condensed milk, milk, salt and drink mix. Mix thoroughly until it thickens, that’s the citric acid reacting with the milk. Set aside.

Whip cream to stiff peaks. Add a dollop or two of the whipped cream to the sweet milk mixture to lighten it. Add the mixture to the cream and lightly fold it in. You can add a little food color into it at this point if you want.

Put mixture into your desired ice pop mold. I like silicone ones, but you can use whatever you like! Freeze for 30 minutes, put in popsicle sticks then freeze for another 2-4 hours.

Serve straight from the freezer.

👑It can help to have royal subjects! My plushies are all part of my kingdom, and I can pretend to meet with other aristocrats and even other princesses! It’s a lot of fun!

👑Tea parties! Tea parties all the time! Invite your plushies!

👑It’s not a must, but wearing my crown makes me feel like a little princess whenever I wear it! You can get one on etsy but there’s always a budget friendly option at a nearby party store. It doesn’t have to be a crown either. Any accessory will work as long as it makes you feel special.
