In Serbia, people write the way they read/pronounce. Every letter in the Cyrillic alphabet is pronounced one set way, which is why there are 30 letters and no "X", "Q" and "Y".

Still, going by this logic, whoever wrote this did add an extra "I" which is not present in the actual pronounciation of the name. Probably didn't know how it's pronounced and just went with their gut.

I want to just touch on that Spy's Disguise allegory: in the final chapter, when Fritz is driving the ambulance to his presumed death, behind him you can see a Blu Spy laying down in the back if the van and it is (if I remember correctly from the video) confirmed that that is the Spy from Spy's Disguise. So him and the Smoker are two separate persons.

Which I personally like better. I dunno, I like the idea that the Emesis Spy (I think they named him Jacques??) is just this huge, selfish piece of shit who thinks he's better than everyone and deserves his own lackey and deflects all of his own faults onto Jane Doe.
