DOES ANYONE WANT TO BE WRITING ACCOUNTABILITY PARTNERS?
I’m starting a novel based off the beloved idea of Icarus and Apollo becoming lovers. I have the first draft of the plot mostly worked out and I’m trying to just jump in. I’m also kicking around the idea of a companion novel about Ariadne and Theseus.
However, I have a habit of picking up a project, pouring hours into it, then bailing. So… I’m hoping to find someone who is also a writer who wants to meet on Zoom or something every week or so and talk through what we’re doing and what we want to do next in our books. I’m hoping to have a fixed day and time cause otherwise I won’t stick to it.

Kahn academy has a shit ton of math and science courses, I l’ve signed up for self-paced math courses before and used them to practice and reexplain algebra equations to me multiple times. All of their lessons are short too, so you can get right to the heart of the issue
3blue1brown and Patrickjmt are both visual based math YouTube channels.
Purdue Owl (online resource) has tons of writings on the mechanics of writing
Language Transfer (mobile app) has some beginning lessons for several foreign languages. Also lingo deer is an alternative to duo lingo.

Just started reading Sherlock Holmes and all the adaptations are wrong. This man is a delight. He gets excited about hemoglobin and is ecstatic at the thought of Watson as a roommate. He purposefully forgets how the solar system works so he has more room in his brain for crime. He shows Watson the dirt stains on his trousers and he can tell what part of London they come from based on color and consistency. (As far as i can tell Watson didn't ask, Sherlock just gets back from walks and tells Watson about the stains unprompted.) The text specifically says "Holmes was certainly not a difficult man to live with." Why does every adaptation make him unpleasant and rude, he's literally just eccentric. He's such a goober, I love him.
Sometimes anti-fascism means showing solidarity with those targeted and dehumanized by fascists by hitting up their restaurants for a meal!

current fan creation landscape is kinda like if you went to a party with a homemade cake and everyone takes a slice and silently thumbs up at you with no attempt to start a conversation except for occasionally some guy sits in the corner with a tape recorder critiquing the cake as though he was a restaurant critic and another guy is handing the cake to an uber driver like "yeah i need you to find a restaurant that makes cake like this so i can have more of it" and the only person that's talked to you in 30 minutes is a very sweet little guy who was like "hey i liked your cake" and then ran away apologizing for bothering you the moment you said thank you.
