People Will Just Use Polynesian Words Completely Incorrectly With Completely Made Up Meanings While Being

sorry for me but also or whatever the thing is mana both can be the polynesian word with the original meaning- and it can also be a whole nother word entirely meaning magic stamina languages have changed (and still will change and is changing everywhere right now) just bc one word has one meaning doesnt mean that another word that looks/sounds the same or similar has to have the same meaning even if the second word comes from/is inspired by the first word new words will be invented or same words with different meanings lots of words have different meanings people can use mana as the polynesian word and people still can also use mana as the word most western media knows it as now language will change ofc still respect the Polynesian word mana rven if you use the westernized version mana even if things change you should still respect where you came from.) that was pretty long and maybe a little bit of an unpopular take but lota of worda have different meanings you should respect one meaning but you can still use other definitions. for the word tiki bar/tiki though i dont really know ive never seen the word lol
