people say “wrong place wrong time” but it’s never about being in fictional worlds instead of whatever this real life thing is
the most british interaction there ever was
Quite possibly the funniest shit I have ever seen in my life
aaand there goes my heart
head cannon: years after neils death, todd is walking home after visiting all his friends, and when passing by a theater, a boy around the age of 17 stops him and hands him a flyer while smiling "come see our show! i play the lead!" and when todd looks up, just for a moment, he sees neil. so going forward he makes it his mission to go to every. single. show. that theater performs.
I relate to John Watson because I too feel like nothing I achieve is ever really that impressive compared to others even though I have a high level of education from a working class background and that feeling is unintentionally reinforced by my loved ones and family members

one of my favorite things about dead boy detectives is that it doesn’t take its monsters too seriously because the monsters themselves aren’t the scary part - it’s the symbolism, the things they represent, that are truly scary. yeah, teeth face and the sprites and the demon that apologized for dragging edwin to hell are goofy because they’re not what we’re meant to be scared of. the real horrors are parental abuse, internalized homophobia, xenophobia, bullying, abusive relationships, stalking… i could go on and on. anyway this show is brilliant and i need 20 more seasons of it please and thank you
“What he knew, he knew from books, and books lied, they made things prettier.”
― Hanya Yanagihara, A Little Life
The thing is, you read the stories written by Dr Watson and you think “this is the most down bad a narrator has ever been” and then you get to the stories written by Sherlock Holmes from his perspective and he’s somehow worse.
headcanon accepted
headcannon that secret life is the prequel to LimL (i’ve seen other people talking about this)
Scar killed his dad three times and so Etho left to live with his friends. Cletho healthy relationship. Skizz giving out hearts and being so nice in SL is why he was punished so much in ep 1 of LimL. Etho and Joel being so obsessed with boat boys because it literally just happened. Boat boys being so angry with each other in LimL because they’ve had time to learn to hate each other. Something somthing. I probably make no sense
