i think something that people deserve to hear at least once in their lifetime is that someone is proud of them, their success isn’t a fluke, them trying their best isn’t going unnoticed, they can learn from their mistakes instead of being defined by them, and just making it this far in life is enough
i don’t think i’ll ever be told that by my family though. and if you’re not getting told that by other people either, then i’m telling you that i’m proud of you for making it this far, and i hope life is kinder to you in the future
